March 31, (Easter Sunday)

Today was really nice day. it was mild temp, and sunshine....but I had to stuck at my home in order to study... Moreover, I am having the food crisis...I don't have absolutely anything in my refridge. I still have a slice of becon and rice.... I am starving!!!! Because of Easter Sunday, most of store and supermarket were closed. I should have gone shopping yesterday. Yesterday, I went to have dinner my friend and her friends. One of her ex-coworker came back to Toronto for a week. We went to Lone star cafe on Front st W...It was good bar-restaurant. Their nachos was unique,and its taste was good, too. After the dinner, we went to the pool bar. I had never played billiard before...so I had no idea what to do. My friends were very patient..I hitted a human as well as balls. that was fun. Easter...I made an Easter egg with Mark and omble last year. I still have it. It is sitting just beside this computer...We didn't make it hollow..we just boiled it. So.... I don't wanna think if I crack it. Ewwww. Anyway, go back to study.

March 29, ( Good friday)

今日からEaster　Holidayの始まりです。今日はGood fridayキリストが死んだのが金曜日だからというお休みなんですが・・・なんで死んだのにGood friday?ぜんぜんGoodではないのではという意見は却下らしいです。ちなみにユダヤ教のほうではEasterでなくPass overなんですけど・・こちらの意味は3種類ぐらい違うのを聞いちゃったのでなんだか分かりません。 昨日はちなみに学校のPubにいってしっかり帰れなかったので、そのまま久しぶりにレジデンスに泊まってみました。もう年なのでダンスなんか出来ません・・きっと筋肉痛に・・・しかも今日は祝日なので学校から最寄の地下鉄駅に行くバスがないと思ってショックを受けてたら、ちょうど家の近所に引越しをする子がいて、車で送ってもらいました。ラッキー。 家に帰ってシャワーを浴びて、今日はTLPで今回のセッションのこのお別れ会があったので参加し、そのあとParamountにいって"Death to smoochy"を見てきました。ロビンウィリアムスが子供番組のスターだったんだけど、汚職で警察にたたかれて、芸能界を追放され、かれのポジションを取って一躍有名になったバーニーみたいな紫のサイSmoochyを殺そうとする話。子供向けかなと思ったらとんでもない、South parkなみの口の汚さ。シアター中大盛り上がりでした。かなりお薦めです。 さて・・・今日ももう2時だわ。寝ようっと。

March 28, ( a really beautiful day... the sno was melted down)

Yesterday, we had a big snow storm..Today..it is such a beautiful and warm day!!! I was hoping that school would be closed...It was only my dream..he,he. Wed is usualy the busiest day in a week because I have classes from 8am to 5pm..Today I was so sleepy..I slept on the bus, of course..but still. Moreover, we had a writing test at the ESL class...I didn't have any power for writing.. but I had to. The topic was a kind of interesting.."If you won $3.000.000 in a lottery, what would you do." I wish I really would. After school, I went to have dinner with Fumiko in Korean town because Peter and his students are in Montreal right now, and they won't be back here until tomorrow. I went to the Korean-Japanese reataurant that Mark, Omble and I used to go...See guys, I finally remember where the restaurant is. I ate Bibin bap without chili saurce. On the way to her house, we went to Blockbasters to rent "Zoolander". I have seen it at the theatre, but Fumiko wanted to see it. It was really stupid movie, but I am a kind of like it. I am getting sleepy...good night.

March 26, ( a big snow storm...everything is white)

今日朝起きて、天気予報を見たら雪マーク・・・でも最高気温が１度ぐらいだったのでたいしたことないかなと思いきや・・・お天気チャンネルのおにーさんが、後一時間もしたら雪が降り始めて夜中までやまないでしょうとのこと・・・ホントだった・・・。授業が終わった頃からばりばり降り始めて、今に至るまで降り続けてます。でもこの前の吹雪と比べて、風もないし、寒くないし、単に綺麗です。授業が終わった後、映画を見に行く約束をしてたので、学内をうろうろして時間を潰してたら、Leoに会ったのでそのままレジデンスで時間つぶしをし、ラボに行ったりしてたらそのうちNicoleの授業も終わり、雪の中Woodbineモールまで行ってきました。Nicoleのバックパックがぶっ壊れたので、買い物をしつつ、いつものKFCでご飯を食べ、今日は”Sorority boys"を見てきました。かなりのおばか映画で楽しかったです。いちばん悔しかったのは、トイレに行ってる間にStar wars EP2のTrailerを半分見逃したこと・・それでも今までのよりよっぽど長く、ちゃんとお話になってて・・うーーん待ちきれない。ナイト・シャマラン監督の新作The Signも面白そうだし。とりあえず来週はロビンウィリアムスのDeath to smoochyがみたいです。 明日は学校どうなるんだろう・・お休みだとちょっとうれしいんだけど。朝からがんばっていって、後から閉まったら悔しいし・・。

March 25, ( a gray day)

Today, I had sociology test... It was..he he.. I should have studied more. I did, but I also watched The Acadmy award. It was good. I really like Whoopy Goldberg. She did really good job as the hostess of the show. I was expecting "Amele" would take some award, but it didn't...I love that movie. The leading actress was so cute. I predicted Rassel Crowe wouldn't get the best actor, but I didn't think Densel Washington would. He is a great actor, of course, but "Training day" wasn't a great movie.. The Academy award started from 8pm ET because there is 3 or 4 hrs difference between California and Toronto. It lasted until 1am... no wonder I didn't have time for studying.

March 22, ( a freezing day)

はは・・とうとう行ってきました。スキー！！！今日はほんとに長い一日でした。朝８時から授業があったので、８時４５分の飛行機に乗らなきゃいけないChisatoと二人で５時半おきして、半分死に掛けながらKiplingまでいき、バス停でばいばい。けっこうぎりぎりだったから、乗り遅れてなければいいんだけど。で・・・授業を受け、テストも返してもらい（ちゃんとパスしたよ）、終ったらDowntownへ。で用事をすませ、また学校へ。このスキー旅行は学校の主催でレンタル、交通費、リフトこみで１５ドル。行かなきゃでしょ。雪は降りたてで、寒かったけど最高だった。みんなスキーは生まれて初めてとか２回目とかなのにすごいうまかった。いったとこはTorontoから北へ２時間ぐらいSnow Vallyってとこなんだけど、そんなにコースもないけどまあまあいいとこでした。カナダのスキーコースって初級がFamilyでグリーンの丸、中級が青い四角、上級がブラックダイアモンドって言って黒のひし形。ちなみにBCのウィスラーにあるダブルブラックダイヤモンドコースは・・崖にしか見えません。午後５時ごろについて、ご飯もそこそこに５時間滑りっぱなし。ちょっと久しぶりだったからはじめ怖かったけど、もう最高！！でも上級コースでも日本の中級ぐらいだったから・・しかもそんなに長くないので５分かけて上って１分ぐらいで降りてくるかんじ。 楽しかったけど・・絶対筋肉痛になるな明日。

March 20, ( a rainy and windy day)

I am done for Humanity test..he he..it was ...no comment. I hope that I could get 60%... On Tue, I was so busy for studying, but I went watching a movie...(I shouldn't have done that). I watched "Showtime". Both Robert de niro and Eddie murppy were in the movie. It was the story about TV cops..it was similer to "Rush hour"..I really like it. Today, My friend, Chisato, came to stay st my home from Montreal. She is on the way to go back to Japan. She was supposed tocome here around 8pm, but her flight was delayed because of snow storm. She said it had been snowing for 3 days in Montreal. She finally got here around 9pm. Then we went to have dinner at Gate 304, which is the grill and ber restaurant close to my house. I went to there with Andy before for drinking, and he said their food was good too, so I reallywated to try it. It was really goog, but the price was good too...... We only have 2 days..what will we do. The main plan is that we go eating Cinnabon!!!!

March 18, ( A little bit windy..)

今日は暖かいと思って気楽に手袋なしで出かけたら、思いのほかさむくってちょっと凍え気味です。今週も始まりました・・・月曜日っていつも憂鬱・・。やっぱり授業が５時までってのはちょっと長い・・しかも張り切って９時からコンピューターラボで自習なんかしちゃったもんだから、ねむい・・。でも宿題がーー。新聞によると、昨日のSt, Patricks dayパレードは盛り上がってたみたいで、今年もグリーンビールのみ損ねました・・Irish pubまで行ったのに・・来年に期待・・もしくは自分で作るか？ 今日のSociologyの授業は女性の社会進出についてだったんだけど、資料映像が・・８ミリフィルムだった。生まれて初めてかもしれない。まだ・・つかってるんだ。途中でフィルムが絡まったりして大変だったけど。そのあとぶっつづけで英語クラス。初めてのクラスはWritingテストだったのでこれがはじめてちゃんと受ける授業だたんだけど・・・先生早いです。２時間でChapter１終らせるのには無理があります。終ったあと・・・倒れそうになった。 その後は急いで帰ってKnox churchへ。着いたのが結構遅くなっちゃって、ご飯が全然残ってなくて、腹をすかせてたら・・オランダ帰りのBillがお土産でワッフル風クッキーをくれたので、喜んで食べちゃいました。なんか伝統的なクッキーらしいんだけど、うすやきワッフルの間に、ハニークリームが挟まってて・・・うーーんうまかった。 さて、明日も５時半おきで、まだReadingが終ってないの・・へへやらなきゃ。

March 17, (St. Patrick's day)

From Friday till now on..I was so busy ( not for studying, though). On Fri, I had the morning class from 8am to 10am. Then I needed to go downtown to do some lunch help for TLP. It was until 1pm. After that, I was supposed to see Sisca. When I called her, she was at the Woodbine mall,so I went there!! We called Nicole up, and we talked a lot. Arond 8pm, Danny called me if I wanted to go watching a movie, and he was at the Silvercity Eglinton and Yonge... I went to all down there...That say, I felt like curcling the west part of Toronto twice.Anyway, we watched "Ice Age". It was a comedy cartoon. It was good movie. We laughed a lot. The previous movie which I watched is "The Time Machine"...It was ok movie..but not so great. Danny said the new trailer for Star Wars EP2 and The lord of the rings....I wanna see them!!! Yesterday, I met Hitomi, she is Danny's ex-roommate's friend, and went to Japanese restaurant because we suddenly had a strong desire to eat Ra-men. Wen went to Tokyo kitchen on Yonge st. I have heard some rumor about their Miso Ra-men was just noodle in miso soup, so I picked syoyu ra-men....it was really salty....we needed to drink a lot of water to finish it. After that, we called Danny up, and we went to the Irish pub on Bloor at to countdown for St. Patrick's day. Many people wore green hats and jackets there. It was so busy...I couldn't move well. Musicians played Irish songs too. It was fun. Now... I am hungover....ugh...

March 14, ( White day)

こんなにも、ホワイトディを普及させようとがんばったのに・・意味合いだけは理解していただいたけど・・お返しをくれる部分はすっかり抜けたようで、Happy white day!の言葉だけは良く聞くんだけど・・・違うんですけど（ToT)。今日は学校にNight courseの為だけに行って来ました。しかし・・・ほんとにこのタイムテーブルは最低です。明日はまた５時半おきだしさ・・。はーーー。まあ金曜日だし、早く帰れるからいいんだけど。昨日はちょーーロングな一日を送った後、Danny, Peter とThu-ThuでPeterスイスに行ってらっしゃい会をPeelPubで行いました。ほんとはChinatownでご飯の予定を・・お別れ会に酒がなくてどうすると無理やり変えていただきました。あたしは学校がないからいいもののみんな仕事きょうあったから・・ちょっとかわいそうだったかしら。おかげさまで１２時間ほど寝かせていただきました。クラスメートのYanaは１８時間寝たって言ってたけど。毎週こんな調子なのかしら？となりで猫のユウキはぐうぐう寝てるし・・猫はのんきでいいな。あーー明日のHumanityクラスの予習しなきゃ・・。もう１０時半だし・・５月までの辛抱です。がんばろっと。

March 12, ( a really nice weather..but a not nice day)

Aw..... my classes have finally started..oh..my..god..I got the worst timetable which I've ever had. I have to wake up 5:30am 3 times a week, especially on Wed, I have to stay at the college from 8am to 5pm..I will be die for sure. Moreover, my program manager put me in humanity and sociology class with native speakers. We, international students, usually take those classes with ESL students, but they are not available in this time..so I have no choice. I have attended the first class of those subjects....I wanna cry...I just finish reading 25 pages for the humanity class...Anyway, I have to wake up early tomorrow.Oyasuminasai.

March 10, ( so windy!!!so cold!)

さむい・・・・気温はそれほどでもないんだけど、風がすごすぎる。昨日も家がきしんでたし、建設中のビルの足場が風で倒れたみたい。今日はMarch break最後の日・・朝にRyokoとKellyからSunday branchのお誘いを受けたのでのこのこ行って来ました。そしたら彼らのアパートの下で他の友達にばったり・・Torontoってほんとに狭い街です。地下鉄の中でも前に座ってたおにいさんが偶然友達と会ったらしく・・Such a small worldって大騒ぎしてたし。久しぶりにまともな朝ごはん食べた・・二人ともどうもありがとう。そのあとはみんなでLazy Sundayを過ごしてみました。トランプして、おしゃべりして、ビデオ見て・・・日本でこんな日曜日って過ごしたことがないなーー。ていうかこれに慣れすぎると怖いんだけど。 明日は学校！！うれしいような、悲しいような。みんなに会えるのは楽しみだけど。

March 09, ( Spring??)

yesterday, after I finished some work ata the college, I was taken to the Niagara falls by my friends. How many times did I go there..I lost my count already. The Niagara falls is the only one thing to be seen in Toronto. Whenever we have some guests who are from outside of Toronto, we have to take them to the Niagara falls. This time, Aticha's friend came from the USA, so we took her to the Niagara falls. Kim, who is Aticha's classmete, also came, and his girlfriend drove us by her car. First, we went to the wrong way...of course we got the Niagara falls safely...with kim's roller coaster driving...The falls were...a huge amount of water... I couldn't be impressed anymore..especially, the amount of the water was really little because of the warm winter. Moreover, it was really warm yesterday. It was around 10-12c..we didn't need to ware our jackets. Andy joined us later because he went to back to his parents' house during the March break, and their house is just 15 mins away from Niagara by a car. Aticha & Kim wanted to go to the Casino Niagara..but the rest of us weren't interested to do gambling.. we just watched they lost(sometimes won) their money... After that, we had to go back soon..I had no idea why I went to there that day. On the way to Toronto, we enjoyed a detour again. That is the fun part of driving...I usually take a bus to the Niagara falls, so the bus driver never misses the route. When I went there by my friend's car last year, we missed to get off from the highway ,and we were almost in Fort Elie..Yes,yeasterday was a fun day!! Today I had to do something..and I am so tired. now outside is really windy and raining. One more day to go!!

March 7, ( most of snow has melted!)

昨日降った雪はあっという間に溶けちゃいました。今週末最高気温１０度だって・・どうなってるんだろう。ニュースでエルニーニョがくるって言ってたけど・・・困った世の中です。<ｂｒ>日本でも指輪物語が公開されたようで、是非見てください。今週宿題がないのをいいことに、日本から持ってきてもらった指輪物語全９巻をもういっかい読み直してます。英語で読むほど、身の程知らずじゃないので・・英語版っだったらね・・かるく３年はかかるね。この３部作の前の"The hobbit"だってすでに３ヶ月以上たって２／３しか読めてないもん。でも指輪物語第一部読み進めるうちに、結構"the hobbit"からの引用が多い事に気づき、やっぱり早く読み終えなくては・・と思う今日この頃。あたしの悪い癖は２-３冊の本を一時期にまとめて読むのよね。 最近、夢占いに凝ってて。自分の夢を診断できるホームページを見つけたので、毎朝起きたら打ち込んでるだけど。ちょっと頭がおかしい夢みたなと思っても、診断すると何かの象徴ですとか不安の現れですとかめげずに答えを出してくれます。ただ起きた後、すぐにやらないと夢を忘れちゃうので大変。 きゃーーもう金曜日。あと３日で学校に戻るのか・・うれしいのか悲しいのか。

March 06, ( It is a snowy day)

When I woke up this morning....oh my, it was snowing. Yesterday was nothing, but today, everything was covered with snow. Temp was not so low. It was around 1 or 2C..That is why the most of snow melted by the evening. Today I was supposed to see my friends, but they canceled the plan...so I was nothing to do suddenly. When I don't have anything to do...I always call Danny. Of course, I did today, too. I asked him to company to go to the Cineplex Odeon to get my T-4 form. Now it is the Tax season in Canada. I had the working holiday visa last year, and I worked for 7 months. Moreover, I am not a Canadian resident. For this reason, I have the right to get the Tax refund. The problem is that filling in the tax form is too much work. I can't do it by myself, so I chose the poor Danny. After we got Danny's room, we filled my tax form...oh my god...too much work. While I was filling the one form, I had to fill in the other form to answer the first one... I had to fill in 5 different forms...It took more than one hour... I used up all my brain power. Tomorrow, I have to go to school. My TOFEL class is going on during the March break...I AM SO HAPPY WITH THAT(ToT).

March 05, ( Happy birthday mom..yesterday)

昨日はコンピューターのチェックやバージョンアップなどをしてたら・・思いのほか時間がかかってしまいました。もちろん自力じゃ出来ないので、友達をカレーライスでつってやってもらいました。ダウンロードに一時間以上かかるって書いてあったときはさすがに二人でひきつったけど。その暇な間、久々にメイプルリーフが勝つのを見たり（トロントけが人ばっかで・・特にゴーリーのCujoは骨折だし）、トロントラプターズ脅威の１１連敗とか。どうにもなってません。試合が終わった後、何にも見るもんがなくてたまたまやってたのがThe Oblongs・・South parkよりひどいかもしれません。かなり面白かったけど・・痛いギャグが満載でした。 今日は友達と買い物・映画の予定でしたが一人都合が悪くなったところから、予定が大分変わって・・ResidenceのSiscaの部屋に行ってのんびりした後、いつものWoodbineにいって今日はメルギブソン主演We were soldiersを見ました。ベトナム戦争の話なんだけど・・・・金とあたしの２時間半返せーー。みんなは良かったって言ってたけど・・最近戦争映画の嵐な上に、ネタがばればれなのでちょっと。何で地面をはいずってる兵士が万万撃たれてるのに、堂々と歩いてるメルギブソンは無事なんだろう？？ジョッシュ・ハーネットの40 days and 40 nightsのほうが見たかったな。 さてさて、私の友達のSiscaがとある事情によりインドネシアに帰ってしまうことになってしまったので・・さっきも二人でモールを歩いてるときしみじみとこの半年続けてきたこの映画の日もあと一週で終わりなんだねっていったてたら悲しくなりました。Humberでクラス分けのテストを受けてるときに一番初めにあったのがSiscaでそれからずーーと一緒で。Siscaがいなかったらこんなに友達を学校で作れなかったかも。再来週の日曜日・・空港に見送りに行くんだけど。泣くな・・間違いなく。マスカラつけるのだけはやめとこう。

March 03, (Happy birthday, Yana)

Today was really windy and cold. Moreover I am hungover.Yesterday, My friends and I went to the bar to celebrete that I finished EAP. We went to the Irish ber as usual, but there was someone's birthday party at the place, so we had to move so-called "the Cozy room". Yeah..there were a fireplace, sofas...the problem was there was the door to the kitchen. Every 2 mins..waitress had to pass through in front of us..it was a kind of annoying, but my friends said they were ok with that because the waitress was so cute...oh...guys....If that was a cute guy, I wouldn't complain about it. We talked a lot..we had so much fun. Today was my cleaning day. I was done everything by 3pm, then I went to TLP(the language peoject), which is an Engish school I went. Today we had a welcome party for new students. This school is a homestay style English school, so students will stay at the same house with a teacher, and they will learn English from the everyday life. This session they have 4 students, and I wil take them to the church tomorrow. Aw... I am so sleepy. My March break is still going on!! He,He.. I can sleep until late tomorrow.

March 01, ( A busy day)

昨日せっかく書いた日記が貼り付けのときに消えてしまったので、ふてくされてそのままにしてしまいました。 昨日は無事にテストの結果をもらい、見事EAP終了です・・。よかった・・。Short storyの先生からはお薦めの本まで頂いて大満足です。その後は、Nicoleがフルコスメティックセットを持ってきたので、開いてる教室でメイクアップ大会。Nicoleはメキシコでプロのエスティシャンだったので、腕前は抜群。眉カットまでしてもらっちゃった。でもアイライナーをバリバリにいれられて、目だけが浮き上がってちょっと怖かったけど。そのフルメイクアップのままTOFELクラスへ。TOFELの問題解くのにメイクアップは関係ないけど、まあみんな気づいてくれたのでよしとします。 今日は朝から大忙し・・・１０時に銀行に行ってMoney orderをつくり、去年働いてたお店に行って、T−４フォーム（tax用）をもらい、学校に行って授業料を払い、またダウンダウに戻って友達にあい、そのままそのこのうちで真冬にBBQ...おいしかった。 今日は送信ボタン押しても消えませんように・・。
