March 01, ( A busy day)

昨日せっかく書いた日記が貼り付けのときに消えてしまったので、ふてくされてそのままにしてしまいました。 昨日は無事にテストの結果をもらい、見事EAP終了です・・。よかった・・。Short storyの先生からはお薦めの本まで頂いて大満足です。その後は、Nicoleがフルコスメティックセットを持ってきたので、開いてる教室でメイクアップ大会。Nicoleはメキシコでプロのエスティシャンだったので、腕前は抜群。眉カットまでしてもらっちゃった。でもアイライナーをバリバリにいれられて、目だけが浮き上がってちょっと怖かったけど。そのフルメイクアップのままTOFELクラスへ。TOFELの問題解くのにメイクアップは関係ないけど、まあみんな気づいてくれたのでよしとします。 今日は朝から大忙し・・・１０時に銀行に行ってMoney orderをつくり、去年働いてたお店に行って、T−４フォーム（tax用）をもらい、学校に行って授業料を払い、またダウンダウに戻って友達にあい、そのままそのこのうちで真冬にBBQ...おいしかった。 今日は送信ボタン押しても消えませんように・・。

Feb 27, ( snow!! Samui!)

YAPEEE! NO MORE EAP. I am done! I finished my final exams yesterday. I don't care about the marks of the exams unless I pass the course. The final-final exam was so hard. It was the test for the short story course. We had to write the 300wds essay and 200wds paragraph in 2 hrs. No way to do that. I gave my best shot..but I don't know it was OK. I just hope so. Yesterday, I stayed at Sisca's room. After we came back from the Woodbine centre, our friends visited and brought some beer. Yap, we had to cerebrate our final day. While we were talking, Sisca was so busy to talk her other friends in ICQ. She was chatting with 3 people in ICQ at the same time, talking on the phone, and talking with us.We talked until 2am..then we couldn't wake up until 11am today. Sisca and I went to see Danny downtown. We had really late lunch, and watched "The count of Monte Cristo". It was a great movie. However, how come it was a happy ending. I read the original story,and it was a sad ending as I remember.....Uh..Walt Disney movie Magic? Tomorrow, I have to go to school to get the results. Please, please let me pass. I don't wanna do EAP anymore.

Feb 24, ( Viva Canada men's hockey team)

おめでとうございます！！！！やりましたカナダ男子ホッケーチーム！！！悲願の金メダルです！街は大変な騒ぎになっております。ちなみに今日は私にとっても記念すべき日。Barに行ってビール飲まなかったの生まれて初めてです。一人でゲームを見るのも味気ないので、無理やりAndyとCurtisについていって近所のスポーツバーに行って来ました。一時間前に行ったのに、すごい混みよう。ほぼ全員カナダホッケーシャツBy Molson Canadian or Labbat Blue着用。ビールすごく飲みたかったけど、午後三時から、しかも明日テストあるのにここで飲むのは自殺行為と懸命な判断・・・て言うか他の二人に止められたので。もうバーでみんな大騒ぎ・・あんなにShitとFuckの嵐を聞いたのは初めてです。第３ピリオドはみんなほとんど総立ち・・駄目押し５点目入れたときはうれしかった。最後はみんなでカナダ国歌大合唱です。日本の国歌歌えないけど、カナダのは歌えるので、調子に乗って一緒に歌ってました。その後街は大騒ぎ、ゲーム中継の途中でToronto市内が映った時、Yonge stにさえ誰もいなかったのに（日曜のお昼に）、今度は人が出すぎて交通機関完全にストップ。みなさんクラクションを鳴らし、奇声を上げ、ストリートカー、タクシー、電話ボックス・・とにかく何でも屋根に上って大騒ぎ。こんなとき明日テストがあって早く帰らなきゃいけない自分がうらめしい。 あっ聖火が消えました。これでほんとにオリンピックも終わりです。しかしClosing celemony・・アメリカっぽいと言うか。はじめのNsync国歌を歌うでちょっとびっくりしたのに、恐竜の化石の漫才に引き続き　・・　"KISS"・・、ベースの人のお洋服がはだけてて、おなか痛くならないかな？って余計な心配もしてみました。 いまはたと気づきましたが、こんなに真剣に閉会式を見てる場合では・・・勉強勉強。あと２日で１週間のおやすみ！！

Feb 23, ( a beautifl day)

Today was really nice day outside. It was warm, the blue sky no clouds...I woke up around 9am,and made a cheese cake because I was going to Nicole's boyfriend's house. Nicole invited me and our friend, Mila, to his house for a make-up lecture. That was really fun. Linda, who sells cosmetic products, taught us skin care, basic foundation, and interestig make-up. After that, I didn't look like me. She empasised my eyes..so My eyes looked like much bigger than usual..It was kind of scary. On the other hand, Mila was so beautiful. a red lip colour was really nice on her, and she has long eye lushes. I wish I have...When we went home, Mila and her husband gave me a ride. I really wanted go somewhere, but I don't have someone who takes me dinner, and I had to study for the final exams....Make-up was nothing to me. Tomorrow, I have to watch the final hockey game!!I hope Canada will get gold medals.

Feb 22, ( A cold, gray, and windy day)

やりました、カナダ男子ホッケーチーム、決勝進出です。今日の試合は２時からの中継だったのに、授業２時半に終って、ダッシュで家に戻ってなんとか、第３ピリオドに間に合いました。今日の試合は対ベラルーシュだったんだけど、第２ピリオドが終った時点で４−１でカナダがリード。第３ピリオドで３点追加して結局７−１で勝ちました。最後のほうはもうみんなだれてたけど。決勝戦の相手を決める試合はその３時間後から、アメリカーロシア戦でした。午後６時から中継の予定だったので、夕飯の買出しに外にでると・・・うかれたカナダ人でストリートが大変なことに。旗を持って道路に飛び出し、ラッパを吹き鳴らし、クラクションを鳴らしまくり・・・ほほえましいのかうるさいのか？これ、カナダが金メダル取ったらどうなっちゃうのだろう？ちなみにアメリカが勝ったので、日曜の試合はカナダ対アメリカの北米合戦です。この試合も３−２でアメリカの勝ちだったんだけど。第３ピリオドのロシアの猛攻はすごかった。最後はゴールキーパーもあげてがんばったけど・・ちょっと遅かった。日曜日の試合が楽しみーー・・テスト勉強でそれどころじゃないかも知れないけど。 でもなんだかんだ言いながら、しっかりビデオなんか借りてきてみちゃったりしてるんだけど。やっと見ました"Hearts in Atrantis"アンソニーホプキンス主演です。想像してたのとちょっと違ったけど・・やっぱり今日も大泣き。前々から見たがってた”I am sam" はもう３週目なのでメジャーな映画館ではほとんど終っちゃってて、郊外に行くしかない・・マーチブレイク中に行くべきか？？ 明日はNicoleのところでちょっとしたMake up　partyがあるので・・あっ電話しなきゃ。ではまた。

Feb 21, ( Happy Birthday...yesterday)

Wu.....I hate a presentation... Yesterday, I was so busy to prepare for the prasentation today. I came home around 5pm..I finished it around 1am, but I was watching the hockey game for 2 hrs( Canada vs Finland). Yay, Canada beated Finland. They will go up to semi-final against Belarus. Also, the Canadian Women hockey team won the gold medal today. I don't know anything about sports,especially hockey games, but I really love to watch them. In Canada, everybody is crazy about watching hockey games. Some Japanese people are crazy about "Nihon serise" of baseball...something like that. Finally, My final-final exams will start from tomorrow. Ha..... I hope it will be okey. After that..we have so-called "A Reading Week". It is a week holiday for college or university students. The purpose is schools give some time to students for reading books or catching up with classes. Anyway, who cares the meaning. Holiday is holiday!! Especially for EAP studants, it will be a week and half. Ha,Ha,Ha...I can't wait!!

Feb 19, ( it is raining, not snowing)

ただいま、いっぱいいっぱいです。昨日あたりから・・喉が痛いなって思ってたらやっぱりやられました。起きたら、喉はがらがら、鼻はずるずる・・ただでさえ英語の発音悪いのに誰もあたしが話してること理解してくれないよぅ。自分で自分のおかゆ作るの情けないので、だれかトロントまで来て卵がゆ作ってくれる人大募集中。みんな心配してくれて、各国に伝わる民間療法を伝授してくれるんだけど、トルコ人のコーヒーにたっぷり砂糖は・・どうなんでしょう。ジンジャーティーはいろんな人に言われるけど。 なにかとオリンピックネタで盛り上がる今日この頃・・ホッケーからは目が離せません。女子は木曜にゴールドメダルをかけてのアメリカ戦。男子は・・・昨日のチェコとの試合は引き分けだったけど、その前のドイツ戦より活気があって楽しかった。フィギュアスケートも何かと疑惑があったりして、連日新聞でおおもめしてたけど・・ショートトラックで日本選手がカナダ選手を引っ掛けて転ばせたというので、カナダ人の友達からいじめられます。 さて、現実逃避は止めて、課題をしなきゃ。先生とか宿題の量は多くないか、大丈夫かって聞いた後にどかっと出してくれて、うれしくて・・・本気でなきそう。もう６時間も机に向かいっぱなしなのにぜんぜん終らない・・。 メールとかこの日記書いてるからって話もありますが・・。ではまた。

Feb 17, ( a clear, cold day)

Today is really cold. The road was covered with ice.. This weekend, I have no life. So many things to do. I have to finish three assignments, one 20 mins presentation, and final exams...I don't wanna think about them. So..now..I am thinking about something but studying...First, Canada hockey team lost 5-2...My friends said everybody in Canada should cry for 2 hrs..I hope they will win today's game against Germany. Yesterday, I went to a party for international students, which was planned by Indonesian community. Sisca too me there. There were many my friends from Humber, too. Yes, free dinner was so attractive for us.They cooked some indonesian food. Those were good.today, when I went to do my laundry, I saw many people brought a lot of laundry(full of huge backpack or cart). I just wondered why those people have so many clothes to wash. Kya--hokey will start soon..see ya.

Feb 15, ( a really warm and nice day)

あったかーい、３度もある。手袋・帽子なしで快適な一日でした。 今日は月曜日のリベンジということでAGO（Art Galary of Ontario)に行ってきました。今日は開いてましたよ。此処にはヘンリー・ムーアとカナダの代表的な風景画家Group of sevenとエミリーカーの作品、現代・イヌイットアートなどなど、いろんな美術品があります。今回の私達の目的は今回改装されて新しくなった、ヘンリームーアコレクション（私にとっては箱根彫刻の森美術館って気分）とGroup of Sevenです。ここで好きな作品を２点見つけて、それを素にエッセイを書かなきゃいけないのでちょっと必死でした。特別展示でLatin Americaの作品展がやってて、みんなでベネズエラからきたSolとGabyに質問攻め、このSpanisｈはどう読むのかとか。 ４時ごろにはもうみんなくたくただったので、解散して・・・暇だったので誰かを捕まえようと電話を掛け捲ったところ、あたしにとってはラッキー、Dannyにとっては災難だったけど・・運良くDannyを捕まえたので、映画に行って来ました。デンゼルワシントンの"John Q"。心臓病の息子を助ける為に、お父さんが病院に立てこもる話なんだけど・・今回も大泣き・・負けました。最近勝率が悪いです。 オリンピックもどうやらカナダアイスダンスペアも金メダルをもらえるようになったらしく・・よかったね。 さて、EAPほんとに最後の週が始まります・・・忙しくなりそう。

Feb 14, ( A happy valentain day)

There are full of red, heart and chocolate things in the all of city. So..Today is a Valentain day. Even the college book store sold flowers. Yesterday, my friends came to my house to have dinner. First, I thought only two people came, but actually 5 people came...I prepared a little food..I made Kakiage, Soba, and Karaage. While I was cooking, everybody looked at me...I have learned how to cook by myself, so my cooking style is not proper at all, but everybody had some interests on Japanese cooking....Everybody might think my sticky, oily kakiage was correct form. Anyway, we had a good time. The problem was I had two test today, so I wanted them to leave my house early, but nobody didn't want to go back to the residence...GET OUT FROM MY HOUSE!!!!!! Although today was the most romantic day in the year, I had a class until 9pm...so it is my life.

Feb12, (slippry!!)

道路がつるつる・・超こけそうなんですけど。昨日は課外授業だった為、なんか学校に行くのがすごい久々な気がした。今日は学校に着いたら、みんな昨日のアイスダンスの話で持ちきり、他のクラスの先生はビデオまで持ってきて、クラスで検討会したらしい・・。絶対カナダの方が完璧に滑ったのに・・カナダ国民かなりお怒りですよ。しかも今日男子フィギィアシングル見てたら、カナダのストイコ選手、日本風の「ライオン（獅子）」っていう曲で踊ったんだけど、アナウンサーが彼の衣装に書いてある文字は日本語で「ライオン」という意味ですというので良く見たらカタカナで「ライーヨー」って書いてあったんだけど・・日本人は世界中にあふれてるだろ、誰か教えてやってくれ。かわいそう過ぎる。 ちなみに今日は映画の日「Walk to remember」を見てきました。残り３０分なっきっぱなし。久々におおまけの映画でした。女の子しか見てないうえに、そこらじゅうから鼻をすする音が。終ったあと顔がかぴかぴになってしまいました。 世の中バレンタインで盛り上がってますが、日本にいるときよりますます関係ありません。しかもその日は９時までクラスがあるので、言い訳もばっちし・・・ちとわびしい・・？？

Feb 11, ( -15C..freezing)

This morning, my mom and I woke up 5:30am, and I took her to the airport...I was going to take a bus to get the airport, but my mom's suitcase was so heavy, so we called a taxi. When I went back to Japan last time, I took the same flight as my mom does, and I took more than 2 hrs to check in. That was why we went to the airport so early today, but it took just 30 mins.. After that, we had to wait for a long time. After I said good bye to my mom, I went downtown because our class would be hold at AGO(Art Gallary of Ontario)today. However, when we got there, it was closed on Monday...so we changed our plan to go to The Royal Ontaio Museum. It was really good. We had a really good time. I will talk about the trip in Montreal later. That was good trip too.

Feb 07, (a loooong day)

眠い・・いま朝の４時。時差ぼけか？もともと早起きだからか・・とにかくママに起こされて、眠いんだけど寝れない。 昨日は空港までお迎えに行ってきたけど、バンクーバーで乗り換えに間に合わなかったらしく、７時１５分に着いてるはずなのに、空港ビルどこにもいない・・・。館内放送までかけて、半泣きで探してたら次の便でやってきた・・・・。見つかってよかったです。 週末はモントリオールに行ってきますので、日記もちょっとお休みです。ではまた。

Feb 06, ( I don't like to walking on the icy side walks)

UH... it is not warm today, but it wasn't so bad..Today was only -3C..so it is ok. If it was under -15C, I would complain so much.. Yesterday, we were supposed to have a cooking party at Danny's place, but the water line of his builting was cut for 8-4...so we couldn't cook.Then we decided to go to China town. We were 4 girls and Danny. Lucky him. While we were eating, we girls were so complaining about how bad Canadian guys were..Everybody had a bad memory..that was really interesting topic. Today...nothing special..I was so busy to do my assignment ahead of times because my mom will come here tomorrow. She just gonna stay here for 5 days..I have to stay with her during that time.Then we will go to Montreal from Friday!!Yay, Montreal smoked meat sandwiches. But I have to miss the ski trip, though. Anyway, I have to clean my room; otherwise, my mom will get angry with me.

Feb 4, ( A snow storm..again??)

今日もなんだか光がまぶしくて、目が覚めてしまいました。ん？？まぶしい・・・この時期にそんなことはありえないって思って、外を見てみたら・・やな予感的中！吹雪！天気予報も−１５度はっはは・・月曜日なのに(泣）、まあ何はともわて、学校へ・・ていうか風邪がすごくて前に進めないし、雪がびしびし顔に当たる。定期を出す為に手袋を取った瞬間、手が固まって、動かなくなったし。ほんと・・バナナで釘どころか、豆腐でも打てそうです。バスも相変わらず遅れるしね・・これだからバス通学はいやなのよ。＜br＞今日、クラスでFriendshipについて、話してたんだけど。男と女の間の友情は成立するか？とかどうして親友は必要なのかとかね。うちのクラスの子はみんな女の子だけど、みんなすっごく仲が良いけど彼氏じゃない男友達を持ってて。異様にこの議題で盛り上がり。一人の子が私は女の子の友達はいない、だってみんな信用できないんだもん・・て素敵な答えが。こわいよーー。あたしの場合、あたしの飲みについてこられるのが、男の子しかいないから必然的にそうなんだけどね。＜br＞さて明日はプレゼンがあるので、こんなところで。 今週末はモントリオールだ楽しみだな。

Jan 3,( icy roads, but it ain't so cold)

Aw.... I think you guys have already noticed... If I skipped writhing this diary, I would have a tons of homework or get drunk at the night. So yesterday was Sat..it means there was no homework last night. Yes, I went drinking!!!(as usual). Friday, I was really pissed because of cancelation of the ski trip. So I went to bed early, but before I slept, I left the messege on Danny's voice mail to ask him to go out Sat's afternoon. On Sat, I phoned Danny again, and we decided to cook dumplings at his place. Before we cooked dumplings, we watched "Mulin Rouge" on DVD. I looooove this movie. I am thinking whether I should buy the DVD or not. The soundtracks are great.Our dumplings were so good. I ate too much. After that, I went drinking with Andy and his friends. First we went to one of friends' house watched some TV programs. Then we went to "Madison"pub on Spadina. It was the first time to go there, and everybody said the place was like a maze...it was. So many rooms and stairs.. I thought I was going to get lost. I had a great time with many new friends. That is the ideal weekend!

Feb 01, ( everything is white!)

昨日のどかゆきから、一夜あけていまは気温が３度ぐらい、あまりの暖かさに雪じゃなくて雨が降って道路はSlushyで最低なことになってます。金曜日は９時からの授業があるので、６時ごろにずるずる起きて、昨日の反省をふまえ早めに家を出たんだけど、やっぱりバスが遅れて今日もぎりぎり。実は今日Internatioal office主催のスキー旅行があって、荷物も持ってすっごい楽しみにしてたのに・・・天候不良の為順延・・トロントには雪があふれてるのに、スキー場の雪は雨で溶けたらしい・・ひどすぎる。最終になったら、うちのママがトロントに来てるからいけないのに・・。えーーん。しかも、Grammarの先生のお友達が今日出産日とのことで、先生が早めに授業を切り上げたので、１時３０分には終ってとっとと家に帰ってきました。ちなみにあたしの先生Susanも妊娠７ヶ月め、クラスも女の子だけなのでいつも、赤ちゃんや結婚話で盛り上がってます。 金曜なのに・・と家でぷんぷんしてたら、SiscaがKorean townにご飯食べに行こうというので、暴風のなかてくてく歩いていきました。もちろん、辛いものを一切受け付けない私は（許容範囲はカレーの王子様）・・いつものプルコギとご飯・・一緒にいたLeoも辛いのだめで、Siscaが頼んでた、トッポギ？（餅とラーメン、野菜、薄い薩摩揚げ、真っ赤なソース）を一口食べて、１時間汗をかきっぱなしでした。プルコギも胡椒が効いてて水のみっぱなし・・からかった。 家に帰って・・金曜日から珍しく宿題してたんだけど・・・飽きてベットでごろごろしてたら寝ちゃいました。ということで実は今は土曜日の朝です。ねむい・・もう一回寝よう。
