Travel note in Persia 11, Hard days
In one evening, we were invited by the cousin of the doctor who had visited for us the other day.
Because many people came for our welcome, we must visit of the return from this day. I thought more than 10 houses as well.
The present of visit is usualy cakes or bouquets. Cakes are sold in kilogram unit in the Iranian cake shop. There were small cakes in the show window.
My husband said "One kilogram please." and ordered one by one. The cakes were lined up in the box.
When the box was spread in the cakes, the weight was about one kilogram. They wrapped the box and we left a store.
We got along in the doctor's house to have usual course like Sharbat, fruits and etc. and let the children play in the large garden.
I liked very much the flower patterns was carved on the ceiling that the chandelier of the living room was installed.
"Because it can't be removed, I am sorry that you can't bring it back." the wit answer was returned by the doctor.
Visit the other houses
We came only to drink Chai on this house. We had an appointment to go to the eldest brother's house for the dinner after that.
I was sleepy in this eldest brother's house because we had gone on out since yesterday. He said to me to sleep a little and his wife prepared for the bed.
After I woke up, I helped to prepare the dinner. This brother's wife's cooking was Ashe-mast (Yoghurt heavy soup).
It is the lokal cooking of Ardebil of northern city where is both parents are born. It is a heavy soup which were put yoghurt, vegetables, herbs and beans.
I got surprised to hear the yoghurt soup but it tasted good.
We were invited by the doctor's house for the dinner after some days. They gave me small persian carpet instead of the gold for celebration on this formal invitation.
It was for the wall decoration and had the beautiful flower pattern of the antique color.
Carpets are also property the same as the gold. It surely prepares for the marrage tool. The eldest brother prepared two carpets for each of two daughters since they were small girls. There are surely Persian carpets in Iranian houses.
