Travel note in Persia 17, Crossed the foggy peak

@Since there were three cars, the members of each car were flexible. People changed which car to ride at the breaks. The people in the car with Parents became quiet. On the other hand, when the nephews were in the same car, it was very noisy. They laughed with talking funny short stories.

"Anyone in Japan consider of the work for 24 hours. They only say the jokes related with work !"

My hunband said.

"Iranians never think of work during working."

Everyone laughed loudly. My husband translated this to me and I laughed.

But concerning the other stories I did not know why people laughed at them although my husband explained them to me. What is funny is different from diffrent cultures.

They continued talking and laughing more and more.

@The car went to the direction of a mountain rapidly. It had also been raining a lot. Although the rain stopped, the fog came out this time. There was no guardrail in the way becoming narrow.

When we drove through the valley, I saw the wire was stretched to the bottom of the valley. Here was the border between Iran and the republic of Azerbaijan. I felt I really came in the distance.

The fog was becoming deeper as we went up to the mountain. Even when we could not see anything from the window, the car was continued driving. I was afraid the car would cause an accident.

"Are you frightened ?"

Nephews did not care anything and they seemed to be calm.

@Since we could not see the other cars of our family. The car went downward. We might pass the peak of this mountain. The fog became clear gradually.

They were still talking loudly. I did not understand their Farsi talks and felt like those were the lullaby. I was dozing for a while. When I woke up, we had already arrived in Ardebil.

The town of Ardebil

@The town was seen across the plain. Everything was dyed red by the sunset. Since it was a country, there were few big buildings.

Although there were many cars running on that street, the carts and donkeys with big loads were playing active parts.

The residence towns had smaller houses and apartments. But the atmosphere was similar to Tehran. I could see only the walls from the roads like I saw in Tehran.

When we arrived at the uncle's house, it became almost dark outside. We, such a big party were going to spend this night in his house.

@Ardebil people speak mainly Azerbaijan Turkish. I came to understand some Farsi, but I did not know Azerbaijan Turkish.

But the people especialy the daughters of the uncle were very passionate. They talked to me with the big gesture. I understood what they wanted to say.

Thank you very much you came from far. I am very glad you became our family member. And so on. I received a gold accessory again.

@There were many people like the uncle's children, grandchildren to see us. The uncle was very happy man. He tried to make us laugh many times.

The food was delicious because of full of country nature. Iranian people eat Feta cheese for the breakfast. I can not eat this white cheese preserved in salt. I prefer honey and cream.

@Honey still had the form of a beehive. The cream was the supernatant fluid which appears on milk. It was strong, real cream.

Of course Feta cheese seemed to be also fresh and taste strong.

"I would like to live here."

My husband said jokingly.
