| MANGE |
Cause : Demodex bovis, Psorp,tes spp. |
Transmission : Transmission is direct. Contact with contaminated
such as feed troughs.

Clinical signs and lesions :
Demodectic Mange :
- Lesions occur most commonly on the hair follicles
on the brisket, lower neck, forearm and shoulder.
- In serve cases, general hair loss and thickening
of the skin.
Psorootic Mange :
- Lesions appear first on the withers, neck
and around the root of the tail and maybe
spread to the rest of the body.
- Lesions are intensely itchy.
- Hair is lost, the skin becomes thicked, wrinkled
and covered with scabs.
- Badly affected animals become weak and emaciated
and may die.

Recommnendations :
-Repeated dipping or spraying with
acaricides
should be carried out to prevent spread
rather
than cure existing lesions.
-Dipping suppliments are recommended
"Amitras",
which is tick killer.
-Other medicine is recommended "Ivermectin"
, which is injection killed & prevented
from any kinds of tick.
