春！？日差しと緑。でも侮れない気温
1 Sunnuntai (Sun)
スカッシュを久々に。初めて旦那から本気の1ゲーム奪取。(実は前取れたのは手抜きをしたらしい)苦節3年、、かあちゃん、やったぜ。エイプリルフールらしき事は何もしなかった。旦那が料理。昨日の疲れがまだある。楽しかったけど、、
We played squash for an hour. I won the first game, for the first time.
but lost concentration after that. Later my husband cooked for dinner. still worn out after last night's
party.
3 Tiistai (Tues)
2時からハンナと会話練習。来週で彼らの職業経験コースは終わるのでちょいと寂しい。みんな良い人たちだし。その後フィン語クラス。ウ〜ン難しい。
from 2pm conversation practice with H. She is quite nice, but next week their working experience will finish. Her team was quite nice, I liked all of them so it's sad.
7 Lauantai (Sat)
旦那の両親をはじめて食事に招く。軽くワインなど飲んでから食事に。最初にお好み焼きを小さめに焼いて出しこれは好評。鰹節が踊っているのが舅にはとても面白かったらしい。("Jaha,
jaha!"を連発)手巻き寿司を用意したが、海苔がどうもだめらしい。魚も一応生はやめて、スモークサーモンを具にした。後はキュウリ、卵焼き、イクラ、椎茸の甘辛煮。
Invited husband's parents for Japanese dinner. We prepared Okonomi-yaki for starter, Makizushi and Miso soup for main.
Seaweed (Nori) seemed to be difficult to eat for both.
Okonomiyaki, I was sure they liked it and they did. Miso soup is all right but they are not used to eat from bowl and chopsticks maybe!?
8 Sunnuntai (Sun) "Finding Forrester"
「小説家を探して」を観に行った。ショーンコネリーはやっぱりうまい。主人公の男の子も良かったけども。観た後2人してなんか本読みたいね〜、という気分になった。次の週すぐに影響を受ける私は図書館に行き、kキプリング(Kipling)の本を探してみた。おお、1冊有った。短編を読んだけど、植民地主義的な書き方で好きになれなかった。文体はともかくとして。(良さは分かっていない)
ちょっと話題はそれるがこちらでは日本のように外国映画の原題を直訳せず、まったく違うより受けの良さそうなものに変えることがかなり多い。しかも漫画のキャラクターも名前が変わる。ドナルドダックは「アクアンカ（あひるおじさん）」、猫のガーフィールドは「カルビネン(男性の名前)」である。ミッキーマウスはさすがに「ミッキ」なんだけど。
Went to see "Finding Forrester (Ela:ma:n Edessa)". Sean C was good. After watching the film, both of us felt reading classic novels and write something nice. I actually went to library following week and read short story of some English writer but did not like it at all. atmosphere was too
colonialistic!

Keskiviikko (Wed) Keilahalliin
フィンランドで初のボウリング。皆余りやった事がないらしく日本ではかなりへたくそな私も順位は結構良かった。(でも1ゲーム100超えてない)ビリヤードもあった。1時間で11人２レーンで30MK.そんなに高くないかな。
Went to bowling after finnish language at international meeting point. first time in Finland! most of people never played before among us, so I was better in score than others. But I am not good in Japanese standard...
Easter
Week! 13th-16th
二週間ほど前からお皿で育てた芝生が10cm強になったのでひよこの置物をかってきて草に置く。黄色はこちらでは復活祭のシンボルカラー。後はゆっくりして、バックギャモンを習い､散々負けた。。。

17~19 Tiistai-Torstai
ヘルシンキに行って用事を済ませる。旦那は式用のホワイトタイ、私はベールをつけないので変わりに掛けるショールを探す。まだ寒いと思うし。オーガンジーのシンプルなので良いのを見つけた。
Went to Helsinki, did shopping, husband rented his white tie for wedding. I was looking for
organza shall for my
dress and I found it in the same shop where I bought my white satin shoes..
24 Tiistai (Tues)
友達夫婦の家に招かれる。もうすぐTurkuに引っ越しちゃう彼らだが、旦那さんが仕事が見つかった為なので幸運を祈りたい。彼らは私たちより5歳ずつほど若いカップルだが、とてもナイスな彼らを私は大好きである。旦那さんには初めて会った。気骨のありそうな人だった。
この前の日についに、ついに自転車を買ってもらった。ただもう嬉しい。足が出来た。街までこいで15分ちょっとである。途中の道は両側にさえぎるものが何も無いので本当に風が強い。この自転車で友人宅に行く。
Went to L&H's house on the different side of the town. They live in nice and
cosy flat though they move to Turku next month. We were invited for her apple pie and coffee. I miss you Lu! Met her husband for the 1st time, they are young and nice couple. Good luck H for your new job!
Before I forget, I have to announce that I got my bike at last!!! Waited from
wintertime, I am just so happy. Riding to centre of the town takes me about 15
min. not bad. and soon summer comes....
25,26 Keski, Torstai
エスポーでSpring Jazz Festivalがあり、初めてこちらでジャズライブを聴きに行った。JukkaPercoとその仲間で、旦那と同い年位の彼らはとってもうまかった！当節とってフィンランドでも実力ナンバーワンの呼び声も高いらしい彼はトークもうまかったらしく､フィン語がだめな私は悔しかった！演奏も素晴らしい。つい終わってからCDを衝動買い。帰りの車で聴いて帰った。
We went to see Spring Jazz Festival in Espoo (big city near Helsinki, many MNCs' HQ are located here). Jukka Perco and his band were really wonderful and I was so glad enjoying real jazz after long interval. They seem to be claimed as No.1 Finnish jazzmen recently. We bought their CD after the live and the music quality explained their reputation!
