Travel with my famiy    

Guam 2000,4/29-5/2 Departure      Fukuoka airport Airline           Continental Air. Hotel            Outrigger Guam Resort April 29th We left home early in the morning and took a super exprss to Hakata station.  My son was so glad because it was the first time for him to take a "rail star".Then we took the airplane for Guam.  It took about 3 hours.  My kids were better behaved than I expected during the flight. We arrived in Guam at 3 pm.  The hotel we stayed at was located in a crowded street.  The hotel was connected with some shopping stores including ABC store.  There was a DFS Gallerria shop in from ot the hotel.  It is convenient  if you go with small kids .  We went shopping briefly and took a walk along the beach to see the sunset.  It was really beautiful. April 30th I the morning  we went to the swimming pool in the hotel.  My children enjoyed it very much in there.  And in the afternoon we took a shuttle bus to Micronesia mall,K mart,and other duty free shops for shopping.  Micronesia mall was a big mall and had an small amusement park.  My daughter and I bought new bathing suits and pokemon's video dubbed in English.  K mart remainded me of an American supermarket.  I liked it.  In  the evening we went to the swimming pool again.  We  watched the sunset from there.  The bar in the pool reminded me of the movie "cocktail".  We enjoyed tropical mood. Then  we went to the restaurant to eat dinner.  It was crowded everywhere and there was a long line of Japanese.  Most of the tourists were Japanese because of the long holiday(Golden Week) in Japan.  We waited for  about 1 hour. May 1st. In the morning  we went to the aquarium "Under Water World". My kids were glad to see many kinds of fishes. I the afternoon we spent our spare time swimming at the beach and in the pool. May 2nd. The departure time was 6am,so we had to leave the hotel early in the morning 3 am!  We couldn't sleep enough!  It was hard for us...We got on the bus at the hotel drowsily,and headed for the airport. We arrived at Fukuoka airport around 10am.  By the time we got home,it was after 12pm.  It felt like we had lost 1 day... It seems local airports have a disadvantage of concerning of flight time.
