Aboveground Stations of
Subway
&
Underground Stations of Conventional Railway

| I noticed
that there are no sites displaying all the aboveground
stations of subway although it is widely known that there
are many of them. I therefore made it immediately. Meanwhile, although not classified as subway, there are many stations which in fact exist underground. Railway lines such as JR Tozai Line, Tokyu Shin Tamagawa Line (now part of Denentoshi Line), Rinkai Line are virtually subway. There are no sites, however, displaying all the underground stations. This site has been prepared as a first step to make it more precise. I would humbly request all of you viewing this site to send photos of the aboveground station of subway. I would like to post it as an evidence. I started with Japanese infomation. It would be fun if you send similar information of subway of your country. Please
send here. I also welcome your contribution or advice
pointing out other aboveground stations or mistakes. For basic information of Japanese railway, click here. For Line Maps of World Subways, visit Mr Osamu Abe's great site. |
