| 02/11/2001 | thecorrsonlineにて、日本以外の2月のコンサートツアー復帰と延期決定の発表。 While the Australian, New Zealand, Indonesian and Malaysian dates are back on schedule the Corrs have been forced to reschedule their shows in Singapore and The Philippines. Singapore has been rescheduled to March 2nd and Manila to March 4th. Purchased tickets are of course valid and if you cannot attend the shows at their new dates you are entitled to a full refund, contact the office where you purchased your ticket(s). Andrea has to check again with the doctor next week, so hopefully they won't be cancelled at the last minute. Given that it's a long flight, no-one can genuinely say whether her condition will return or not. Other than this it's all a matter of speculation. Andrea Corr, lead singer and tin-whistle player is suffering from a severe ear infection and has been advised by doctors not to travel. Unless she has a complete rest from touring and performing at this time, she is likely to incur permanent damage. The following dates are postponed indefinitely. February 9 - Osaka, Japan - Koseinenkin Hall John Hughes, the band's manager stated that "The Corrs are renowned
for their hard work and this is the first time they have ever cancelled
in 11 years". Sharon Corr added, "we are very disappointed at
this sudden turn in events and are looking forward to getting back on the

| 01/31/2001 | radioundercover.comにて、オーストラリアツアー延期の発表。 The Corrs have postponed their Australian tour. Andrea Corr has been suffering from an ear infection and UK shows had already been canceled, but now doctors have advised her that she cannot fly for the next 28 days. This means shows scheduled in Sydney and Melbourne for February have had to be put back to a later date. Alex Kelsey from promoter Michael Coppel Presents tells Undercover News that the shows are currently being rescheduled for a later date, hopefully March and fans will be advised of the new dates in the next few days. Fans can hold on to their tickets at this stage and use them at the rescheduled dates. After The Corrs
finish this current round of tours, they are expected to take part in the movie
'The Commitments 2'. The brother and sisters were part of the original movie and
will be contributed four new songs to the soundtrack of the sequel. |
