Let’s Japanese Students to Study Geology, Natural Hazards, and Natural Environment in the Himalaya!
For students of natural science courses there is no need to stress the very importance of studying in the field. However in Japan, field exercise in the university curriculum is going to be disappearing. This trend does not change even though the earth environment is becoming to be noticed in these ten years.
We started the present project, aiming to bring students to the Himalayan field and let them to really feel great diversity, complexity and amusement of nature, and importance of studying them in the field.
In the present file, we include all related issues year to year from the beginning of the first program in 2010 onwards.
