l          私どもＮＧＯ我孫子ナーマルは１０年間スリランカの貧しい子供たちへの奨学金支援活動を行なってきましたが、支援の永続性の観点から、スリランカ復興のためには観光ビジネス支援を側面から行うことを考えました。

l          その経験と人脈を生かし、スリランカ入国から出国までナーマル・スタッフおよび英語講師が旅に随行し、英語研修と世界遺産+モルディブの旅を企画しました。スリランカは紛争も解決し、全く安全な美しい国です。

l          日本の英語教育はhearing, readingなどINPUTが中心です。OUTPUTとしてのspeakingの機会が少ないため、なかなか上達しない原因となっています。カタコトの英語でも英語を第二言語とする国では怯むことなく、どんどんと話すことが出来、自信を持つことが出来ます。

l          一日６時間、一ヶ月160時間の英語の授業は体験型の研修も含みます。英語講師と一緒にキャンディの街に出て、学校、銀行、郵便局、レストランなどに行き、実際の場で英語を使います。行き詰ったら講師のサポートが可能です。週末の世界遺産への旅も講師の支援を受けることも出来ます。日本帰国後は講師とSKYPEで英語でのspeakingとhearingの学習継続が可能です。

l          英語講師はBRITISH ENGLISHを話す講師です。３人の生徒に一人の講師がつきます。実社会の場、旅行中にも英語のサポートがあります。講師はMICHAEL PAUL EDWARDS BA, KAUCHANA EDWARDS MA, SUNIL WIJESURIYA,  YOHAN FERNANDO BA, DAMAYANTHI WADUGODAPITIYA, GAMINI FERNADO MBA,の７名です。

l          週末の宿泊ツアー以外はキャンディ市内のHOTEL MAHAWELI VIEW HOTEL(www.mahawaliview.com)での宿泊となります。朝食、夕食付きで一人1,300円という安さ。

l          週末の世界遺産のツアーでの宿泊も朝食、夕食つきで一人3,000円から6,000円の安さです。モルディブ往復のツアーは往復（コロンボ<>マーレー）の航空券と3泊４日の宿泊費用込みで68,000円です。

l          スリランカ人の家庭で食事したり、ヒンズー教・イスラム教の家庭を訪問したり、異文化間の交流を楽しめる滞在型の旅です。パック旅行では味わえない旅です。

YES, IT’S ONCE IN A LIFETIME EXPERIENCE!

Edwards English Academy ? Kandy, Sri Lanka has launched an Intensive English Language Course especially designed for students from Japan to improve your communication skills and be more confident and accurate in English ? you will be able to speak English in everyday situations. Our course is a residential programme from Monday to Friday, starting from 07.30 hours to 13.00 hours and 15.00 hours to 19.30 hours, covering 50 hours a week.  On completion of four weeks ? 200 hours of study programme - the group will take a break and visit Maldives on a guided tour, accompanied by the teachers.  On return to Sri Lanka, we will continue the programme for another three weeks with the same studying hours, completing 350 hours of teaching.

Intensive English Language Course especially designed for students from Japan is designed for people of all ages, from age 16 upwards and families are most welcome.

With the help of qualified, trained and dedicated teaching staff, we are confident of providing you with the highest academic standards, a successful English language course, and a very enjoyable stay in Sri Lanka and the Maldives.  Our senior partners, both graduates/post O graduates from British universities will be available for the practical conversational exposure through ‘skype’, as they presently live in the United Kingdom.

Kandy, Sri Lanka take our students to visit the most important tourist attractions in this beautiful tropical island, which is proud of an ancient culture and civilization running into 25 centuries of recorded history, with monuments to witness its past heritage.  The students would enjoy meeting Veddah community the Aborigines of Sri Lanka, a day-out in a tropical rain forest, a visit to an orphanage of wild elephants, capturing glimpses of our flora and fauna in natural settings, a visit to the hill country, enjoying the cultural heritage, learning the and skills of traditional craftsmen.   Our students will take back home some memories, which they will treasure for the rest of their lives of the visits to Sri Lanka and the Maldives.
