■私的評価
洋楽に目覚めた時には既に『Thriller』発表後だった私にとって、発売と同時に聴いたこの『Bad』がマイケルそのもの。
夢中になってPVを観た「Bad」をはじめ「The Way You Make Me Feel」「Man in The Mirror」「I Just Can't Stop Loving You」など
名曲が目白押しで、聴くと高校時代の記憶が蘇る思い出深いアルバムだ。
"King of Pop"の称号がいつから付いたのかは定かでないが、『Dangerous』ほどダンスに傾倒し過ぎず、あらゆる要素が適度な分量で融合した
本作を聴けば、なぜ"King of Pop"と呼ばれるかが分かるだろう。
キャリアの割にオリジナルアルバムが少ない宴作家だったマイケル。もう新作が聴けないのが残念だ。合掌・・・
