アービー・グリーンが、1956年から59年にかけて残したビッグバンド(オーケストラ)よるスタジオ録音(オリジナルLP4枚分)を2枚のCD にまとめた集大成版です。最初の11曲が1956年録音の「All About Urbie Green And His Big Band」から。続く12曲が「Let's Face The Music And Dance」から。ディスク 2枚目の10曲は「Jimmy McHugh In Hi-Fi」から。残りの9はRCA盤ですが当時は発表されなかった未発表セッションを収めた「The Message」から。
