Accepting Designs for "Eco-Friendly Shopping Bag" Contest
Contest promoted by “Mottainai Tai” Youth Team.
  The aim of this contest is to increase the number of youth using eco-friendly shopping bags, as well as to promote citizen-led ecological movements that will lead to the development of a society devoted to recycling.
  If your design is selected, bags will be produced and distributed by Kumamoto City in an effort to reduce the quantity of plastic bags used in stores.
There are two divisions:
1) Reusable Tote Division
 2) Reusable Shoulder Bag Division

Space for design:
25cm tall x 25cm wide
Space for design:
20cm tall x 20cm wide
Details:
  1. Bags will be made of cotton
  2. Designs are limited to one color
  3. The color of the bag itself will be part of the design, so have to be set down by you ( monotint )
  4. Design originals will not be returned
  5. The promoter, “Mottainai Tai,” will apply logos of "Kumamoto City" and “Mottainai” in the design
  6. Applications and designs must be submitted by mail
  7. Designs must be submitted in their full actual size
  8. Do not fold designs when posting them
  9. More than one design may be submitted (One sheet per design)
  The applicant whose design is selected for each division will receive a 10,000 yen QUO Card that can be used to purchase goods in a various stores. Second prize for each division is a 500 yen QUO card.
  Contest winners will be recognized at the Kumamoto Kankyou Fair 2005 that will be held at the Kumamoto Zoological & Botanical Gardens on October 23, 2005
