This page is an English version of "Hyper T.'s room" written in Japanese. I would like to introduce Japan made high performance car to you.

What is the GT-R?

The GT-R is our proud high performance Japanese car. You can buy GT-R at car dealer in Japan and in England (officially exported to England). You may be able to purchase GT-R in Australia, New Zealand and HongKong. Recently, car dealer in the United States (MOTOREX) started to import, of course with right side steering wheel.

The end of the 80's, Japanese car makers created some special cars like Acura NSX, Lexus LS400 and the Skyline GT-R. To be accurately, GT-R came to life again. We had had the first and second GT-R in the past. The third GT-R (BNR32) was planned and made to win the "Group A" category Race in Japan, and consequently won and won at almost all races.

As shown in the name, Skyline GT-R is made based on Nissan Skyline. Therefore, its basic body dimensions are strikingly relate to that of Skyline. But Nissan made completely another special car, firm body, tough footwork and special engine (RB26DETT). It especially characterized by the ATESA (Special 4 wheel drive system) and HICAS (Rear wheel steering system). These special composition enable this heavy and high-power car to be controlled like a light-weight car. The GT-R you can buy at car dealer shows high power (280hps), but it's an only basic performance. The GT-R has a unlimited turning capacity.
Driving the GT-R, you may feel its cool fighting spilit that the GT-R has.

Now we are waiting for next GT-R model. The 5th version called BNR34 is the last version of GT-R so far. At Tokyo MotorShow 2003,Carlos Ghosn (NISSAN CEO) announced their plan to give all the details of next model of GT-R in 2007.

I owned and drove BNR32 and BCNR33 for my business trip and drove at circuit course. Therefore, I would like to report my GT-R experiences as an owner.
