This season was the end at Apr 23. The number of skied down day is 17.

4/23 チャオ御岳

天気:晴れ時々曇り 雪質:数cmの新雪の後はジュルジュル、そして再び氷の粒子に

仕事で海外に行っていたため、3週間ぶりの滑走。チャオはとりあえずパークはあるが、ゴンドラ1本乗る必要があるので効率が悪い。(20分に1回) テーブルトップはフラットの長いもので、一回飛んだけど思いっきりフラット落ち。その他に小さめのスパインに似たものがあり、これは結構楽しかった。昼過ぎから雪が緩んで汚れた雪の上だとブレーキがかかりだしたが、スキーワックスの代わりにSuper Rain-Xを塗って試したら異常によく滑って快調だった。類似のNotWaxは5ccほどで2000円弱もするが、Super Rain-Xなら70ccも入って1000円もしない。あとはどのメーカーのものがよく効くか、またテストしよう。

4/23 Ciao-Ontakae snow resort

Weather : Generally fair, Snow Condition : Melted snow after several cm fresh snow. Finally corn snow.

I was out for business trip to overseas therefore I skied down for the first time in 3 weeks while. There was at least a snow park in Ciao, it is necessary to take by gondola so it is inefficient in taking snow park. (1 time per 20 minutes.) Table top had long flat, so once I tried to jump but fell down just on flat. There was small spine, and I enjoyed that. In the afternoon snow was melted and started to slow down my skiing speed, but I coated with "Super rain-X" that is for windshield coating liquid instead of ski wax, it was very slippery. Similar ski wax "NotWax" is about 5cc but its cost is about 2000 YEN, but "Super Rain-X" is about 70cc and its cost at least 1000 YEN. The rest is test for which manufacture's is best.

4/3 白山一里野温泉

天気:雨のち曇りのち雨 雪質:最高のジュルジュル

今回は一里野の最終日。出発するときから結構雨が降っていたが、到着してもやっぱり降っていたのでしばらく車の中で待機。1時間弱でましになってきたのでとりあえず滑り出す(飛び?)。一里野のテーブルトップはスピードがなくてもそこそこ高さが出て、フラット落ちもしにくいので飛びやすい。雪はブレーキのかからないジュルジュルで文句なし。ちなみに左スキーにスーパーレインX、右スキーにNot Waxを塗って違いを確認しようとしたが、違いはなかった。後半、自然にできたショートターンコースの溝と戯れで喜ぶが、体力を消耗。帰る頃にまた雨が降り出し、帰路では雹交じりの凄い雨だった。

4/3 Mt. Hakusan Ichirino Spa Ski area

Weather : Rain after cloudy after rain, Snow condition : Best melted snow

It was the final day of Mt. Ichirino ski area. It was rain cats and dogs before departure and also we arrived, so we waited in the car for a while. After about 1 hour it rained off so we started skied down (jumped?). The table top in Mt. Ichirino made us high jumps no need to speed and did not fall down on flat so easy to jump for us. The snow condition was melted snow and did not slow down our skiing speed so it was very nice. To make sure which is good for wax, I coated "Super rain-X" on left ski and "Not WAX" on right ski. But I didn't feel difference. In last half, we enjoyed skiing down bump on the short-turn course that created naturally, but it drained our energy. In the getting back time, it rained again, and it was heavy rain with hail.

3/26 余呉高原

天気:晴れ 雪質:ゆるゆるで重い

今回は再び余呉へ。朝一はカリカリかなと思ったら緩んでいて、久しぶりにカービングスキーヤーを装う。しかし3本目くらいから滑りが悪くなり、ブレーキがかかった状態。とりあえず6mテーブルを攻めるが、ちょっと混んできたので3mテーブルで180に挑戦。かなり失速するので2m弱しか飛ばす、最初は135度くらいしか回転しなかったが最終的には一応180度回るようになった。しかし、失速するので回り終わった時には着地しているのでニセ180といったところ。残念ながら10mキッカーは失速して殆どみんなフラット落ちしていたため断念。

3/26 Yogo-highland ski area

Weather : Fair, Snow condition : Crud

We went to Yogo Highland again. I expected hard-packed snow first thing in the morning, but there was melted snow and I comported myself as a curving style skier for the first time in a long while. But after 3 times skied down the snow changed crud so slowed down skiing speed like brake. As a last resort we jumped a table top 6m long, it got crowded so we tried to jump with turn 180 degree on a 3m table top. It was stalled too much so I jumped only 2m, and at first turned only about 135 degree. Finally I turned 180 degree. However, it was stalled so completed to turn just landed so it seems fake 180 degree. Unfortunately some one tried to jump 10m kicker but it was stalled and landed on flat. So I quit trying.

3/19 石打丸山

天気:雪のち曇り 雪質:15cmの物凄く重いニセパウダー

今回は大遠征、といっても仕事の関係で帰り道?になった訳だが・・・。関越道は積雪でチェーン規制され、いやが上にも高まるパフへの期待。そんな我々を待っていたのは湿気を大量に含んだ限りなく重いパフ。スキー板にべっとりまとわりつき、滑りにくく気持ちよくなかった。どうりで食べ残しがいっぱいあると思った・・・。そんなとき、パークに巨大スパインを発見! 最初はアプローチで失速して使い物にならなかったが、昼から調子よく1年ぶりのスパインを満喫。

3/19 Ishiuchi-Maruyama Ski area

Weather : Cloud after snow, Snow condition : 15cm of too heavy crud (Fake powder)

This time is mighty expedition, but it was return journey by business trip. Kan-Etsu-Express way was limited by snow falling, so it raised expectations for powder snow. Crud with a high proportion of humidity waited us. Crud nagged around ski so it was difficult to ski down and not confortable. I thought no wonder there were too much no-track powder snow. Then I found a big spine! At first, we were slowed down on approach so useless, in the afternoon it was well I fully enjoyed myself for the first time in one year.

3/12 余呉高原

天気:雪時々曇り 雪質:カリカリの後は2cmのニセパフ

今回は久しぶりに余呉へ。ジュルジュルの雪を期待していたら、カリカリで気温もどんどん下がって雪は融けずじまい。しかたがないので?パークオープンと同時に飛びに専念。最初は一応3mテーブルを飛ぶが、まるで子供用テーブルトップのようだったのですぐ6mに。これはそこそこ飛ぶが、アプローチのスピードを少しずつ上げていって度胸づけ、最後は入り口から直滑降で突っ込むところまで行ったが6mテーブルはなんと34回も飛んだ。(数えるな〜) せっかくだから最後に一発10mキッカーに突入。さすがに最初から全力で入れなく、あえなくフラット落ち。このリベンジは必ず・・・

3/12 Yogo-highland ski area

Weather : Snow with interval cloudy, Snow condition : Fake 2cm powder snow after hard-packed snow

We went to Yogo for the first time in a long while. We expected melted snow, but there was hard-packed snow and temperature fell so snow was not melted. As a last resort we dedicated ourselves to jump after snow park was opened. At first we jumped 3m table top, but it seemed like for children so we switched 6m soon. It made us well jump, so increasing approach speed and plucking up my courage, at last I made a schuss from start point. After all I jumped 6m table top 34 times. Finally I decided to jump 10m kicker, but I couldn't increase speed so dropped on flat. I should settle the score....

3/6 白山白峰温泉

天気:晴れ 雪質:カリカリの後はジュルジュル!!

今回は某帝王の都合で日曜日に。そのためパフはなく、まずはドロップポイントの偵察から。ちなみに白峰は先月末でパークはクローズ、ゲレンデも13日にクローズと淡白。これだけ空いていれば仕方ないかも・・・。朝一はかなり固かった斜面も、日陰の部分にはパフがわずかに残っていたり、昼前からジュルジュルになってきて良かった。ちなみにジュルジュルは一般の人はどうも滑りにくいようですが、太くて長くて固い板を使うと雪を蹴散らしながら滑る感覚でなかなかいいものです。あとはドロップ、ドロップ。そういえば今頃ジャイアントコースが一部を除きオープンしていた。何故先週はクローズなの??

3/6 Mt. Hakusan Shiraminae Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Fair, Snow condition : Melted snow after hard-packed snow!!

Due to Mr. Emperor schedule so we went on Sunday. So there was no fresh powder snow and we started to search drop spot. Incidentally, Shiraminae was closed park zone the end of last month, and will close all slopes March 13. There is so unoccupied and it might be no choice. First thing in morning snow condition was hard-packed, there was little powder snow in shadow area, and melted in the afternoon. Incidentally, usually many people are difficult to ski down melted snow, but it's very fun taking bold, long, and hard ski because of blowing up snow. After then, only dropping. In fact "Giant course" was opened that was closed last week. Why?

2/26 白山白峰温泉

天気:晴れ時々曇り 雪質:パフ20cm!!

先週の風邪の後遺症でイマイチモチベーションが上がりませんでしたがとりあえず単独逃避行。雪は降ってたけども多分氷の上にパフがあって滑りにくい・・・と思ったら予想外にパフがあり、下も氷じゃなく快適。1年ぶりの白峰はやっぱりガラガラで、パフの食べ残しもなかなか減らない(その点、中宮は15分もすればズタズタに)こともあってまたまたパフ三昧。後半はいつものドロップポイントを猿のように飛んで満喫。ちなみにアクションエリアにはスパインがなかった。ガーン。テーブルトップも大はクローズ、小はオープンしてたが変な形で人気があまりなかった。

2/26 Mt. Hakusan Shiraminae Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Fair with interval cloudy, Snow condition : 20cm fresh powder!!

I wasn't highly motivated because after effect of cold felt last week, but I went alone. It snowed but I thought snow condition might be powder on ice so difficult to ski down, however there was much powder snow and no ice beyond expectation. Shiraminae is not occupied for the first time in one year, so fresh powder snow didn't decrease soon. (In that respect, it might be broken at least 15 minutes in Chugu.) So I got enough of powder snow again. I fully enjoyed jumping favorite jumping spot similar as monkey at last half. By the way, there was no spine in the action area. Oh my! Big table top was closed. And small table top was open but it was strange shape so lacking popular support.

2/12 今庄365

天気:小雪のち晴れ時々曇り 雪質:パフ15cmの下は氷

今回は某帝王が不参加で何と8年ぶりの今庄。いまだにスキーオンリーの珍しいゲレンデ、きっと空いている・・・と思ったら予想外に人が多かった。もっともシーズン中一番混雑する週末ではあるが、こんなにスキーヤーがいたとは驚き。で、狙い通り圧雪された両端のパフは誰も食べずに残ったまま、しかたなく(?)ほとんど全部いただきました。11時を過ぎた頃から雪がじゅるって来てモチベーションが低下。今回は水・木は立ちっぱなしの仕事で弱っていたため昼くらいに退散。しかし、十分パフを味わったのでまあまあ満足というところ。

2/12 Imajo-365 ski area

Weather : Fair with interval cloudy after a spatter of snow, Snow condition : 15cm powder snow on the ice

I went to Imajo-365 for the first time in 8 years because snowboarder Mr. Emperor did not attend. It is very rare ski area still only for skier. So I thought will be not occupied but there was occupied beyond expectation. But it should be no surprise that today is most occupied week end. But I surprised this too many skiers. Fresh powder snow in edge of slopes is remaining that I expected, out of need(?) I got almost. After 11 am, snow was melted and it made me letdown. I left at noon because I worked standing all the way on Wednesday and Thursday so I was tired. But it was almost fun because getting enough powder snow.

2/5 白山中宮温泉

天気:雪 雪質:パフ多量!!

前回の反省で出発を早めたら7:45に到着してしまって時間をもてあましてました。肝心の雪は今週の大雪の関係で重めながら凄いパウダーで、一度リフト乗車中に積もった雪にスキーがひっかかり、そのまま外れるかと思い耐えること約20秒、なんとか復活。まあスキーが外れればそのまま降りて奇声をあげながら滑るだけですが・・・。とにかくありとあらゆるパフを食べつくし、大満足の一日。

2/5 Mt. Hakusan Chugu Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Snow, Snow condition : Too much fresh powder snow!!

We pushed forward departure time by previous time reflection, so we arrived 7:45 am and we had to kill time. Key of snow condition is little wet but a lot of powder snow, so my ski tumbled for fell snow on the lift, I worried my ski might tear loose and resisted about 20 seconds, after that made a comeback. If my ski teared loose then I would ski down with shouting... Anyway I was more than pleased to eat up any and all powder snow.

1/22 白山一里野温泉

天気:雪時々晴 雪質:パフ30cm!!

今日は到着が遅れて滑り出しが9:30に。もちろんパフはズタズタなので端の食べ残しをいただいてたら、いきなり溝のように掘れていて全身で壁にアタック・・・というか衝突。ゴーグルの亀裂が完全に割れてしまった。テーブルトップは4m,5mとキッカーが7mということだったがおおーっというような飛びがなかった。ちょっとまだ守りに入っているような。これがスパインだとかなりの落差を得られるのだが・・・早く作ってくれ〜

1/22 Mt. Hakusan Ichirino Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Snow with interval fair, Snow condition : 30cm of fresh powder snow!!

We arrived too late so started to ski down at 9:30 am. Of course fresh powder snow was broken, so I skied down the side of slopes for eating powder snow, suddenly trough was appeared and I crashed snow wall. Then crack in my snow goggle broke up completely. I jumped 4m and 5m table top and 7m kicker but I didn't get big air. Maybe still I jumped defensively. If jumping spine I'll get quite drop... I can hardly wait!

1/15 やぶはら高原

天気:雪時々曇 雪質:パフ15cm

前回行って気に入ってしまったので再度。今日は気温が高めだったので白山方面ではなく御岳方面まで遠征。パフを楽しむよりもやわらかいコブ斜面や急斜面、ナチュラルヒット、テーブルトップ(7m)を味わう。筋力は使うがなかなか楽しかった。早くスパインを飛びたい! 今回からETC通勤割引でわざわざ岐阜羽島で一回出るという変態行動で高速代が安くなった。やれやれ。

1/15 Yabuhara-Highland ski area

Weather : Snow with interval cloudy, Snow condition : 15cm of fresh powder snow

We went again because taking a shine for here. Rising temperature so we made and expedition Mt. Ontakae instead of Mt. Hakusan. We enjoyed melted bumps, steep slopes, natural hit, and 7m of table top without powder. Needs muscle strength but it was fun. I can hardly wait to jump spine! Express way price had gone way down by using "ETC Commute Discount" and exiting once at Gifu-Hashima exit.

1/8 白山中宮温泉

天気:雪のち晴 雪質:パフ20cm!!

パウダーはそれほど期待していなかったが、意外とたっぷりあってまたまたノートラック喰らい!! しかし、先週に続いてパウダーなので感動は薄れてしまった。うーむ、飽食の時代。(ちなみに先週不在だった某帝王は先週のんーすけのように感動していた) 中宮は完全に圧雪の手を抜いているため、パウダーが終わってズタズタになり気温が上がると異常に滑りにくくなり、最後にはヘロヘロ。

1/8 Mt. Hakusan Chugu Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Fair after snow, Snow condition : 20cm of fresh powder snow!!

I didn't expect too much powder snow, but there were much powder snow and I got no-track powder snow again! But I got last week, so emotion was waned. It's age of plenty. (However, Mr. Emperor who didn't skied down last week, throbbed as same as me.) Chugu gets lazy about compacting snow, after fresh powder is finished and temperature rises so it's very difficult to ski down, at last I was tired.

1/2 白山中宮温泉

天気:晴れ時々曇り 雪質:パフ30cm!!

まさにパウダー狙いで単独逃避行。そこそこ斜度のある広いバーンを新雪で開放してくれたので、そこのリフトが動くまでよだれを流しながら待ち構えてました。そして待ちに待ったリフト運行、ボーダーが板を装着するのに手間取っているのを尻目にファーストトラックをゲット!!(ただしパトロールのトラックが3本ほど刻まれてましたが) もう昇天しそうでした。この日のこの斜面と滑りを夢見続け、それが実現したということもあり「ああもうこれで終わってもいい」と思ったほどでした。んでもって食べつくすだけ食べつくしていましたが、朝からノンストップで滑っていたため昼を過ぎてから脚力が落ち、またパウダーもだんだん重くなってきて快感が薄れてきたので1時で引き上げ。家族の反対を押し切って来た甲斐があったというもの。フー。

1/2 Mt. Hakusan Chugu Hot Spa ski area

Weather : Fair with interval cloudy, Snow condition : 30cm of fresh powder snow!!

Exactly it was single-hegira for powder snow. They released wide and little steeper mid slope by no-compacted, so I was waiting with mouth-water until taking that lift. Then started to run lift I've waiting for, I got first track looking askance at snowboarders had a little trouble to set their board!! (However, there were about 3 tracks by patrols skied down.) I might go heaven. I thought "I don't regret if my life might be gone now." because it was realized this slope and skiing that I have been dreaming. And I ate all fresh powder snow, but in the afternoon I lost strength of my legs and snow condition was changed powder to crud, so I drew off at 1 pm. It was well worth coming instead of my family's against. Whew.

12/29 やぶはら高原

天気:雪 雪質:パフ5cm

木曾方面第四弾、穴場を攻めてみました。ここは地形が山谷あって非常に面白そう。まだ半分くらいしかオープンしてないので満喫というわけには行きませんでしたが、ぜひトップシーズンに行きたいところ。で肝心のパフは5cm程度だったのですが、初パフということでまずまず。

12/29 Yabuhara-Highland ski area

Weather : Snow, Snow condition : 5cm of fresh powder snow

Fourth around of Kiso-quarter, we went to good out-of-the-way place. It looks like fun because land form has mountain and valley. I couldn't enjoy fully enough because closing about 50% courses, so I want to visit best season. Depth of powder snow is approx. 5cm, it was first time of powder snow, therefore it was not bad.

12/25 開田高原マイア

天気:晴れ 雪質:軽い雪が強く圧雪された状態

木曾方面第三弾、御岳を中心に順番に回っています。ようやくロングコースを滑ることになって、スキーらしくなってきたところ。年末にも行くので体力を温存。そろそろ、飛び・パウダー禁断症状が出てきた・・・

12/25 Kaida-Highland MIA ski area

Weather : Fair, Snow condition : Hard-packed powder snow

Third round of Kiso-quater, we are making a tour at the center of Mt. Ontakae by rotation. Just it was like skiing long distance course. I'll go the end of year so keep my energy. Any time now, I begin to get withdrawal symptoms of jumping and powder...

12/18 御岳ロープウェイ

天気:曇り時々晴れ 雪質:軽い雪が圧雪された状態

木曾方面第二弾、昨年秋にゴンドラが落ちて死者の出た御岳ロープウェイです。衝撃的だったのはゴンドラのスキー板入れに板が入らなかったこと。いくらファットスキーとはいえ、これは初めてのことでしたから・・・。リフト待ちはピークで5分弱? 今回は低速リフトなのでリフトに乗っている間に足が疲れてしまった。雪質はさすがに標高が高いだけあって最後まで緩まずよかった。ここのゲレンデは「ジャンプ禁止」といった艶消しなことは書いていないため、ありがたい。あれがあると「滑りに来るな」と書いてあるように思えて・・・

12/18 Ontakae Ropeway ski area

Weather : Cloudy with interval fair, Snow condition : Packed powder snow

Second round of Kiso-quarter, Ontake Ropeway fell a gondola so two people died last year. It was shocking about I could not insert my ski to gondola ski bin. It's first experience although I use fat ski. Peak lift waiting time is about 5 minutes or less. I had a sore foot while taking the lift because the lift is slow. Snow condition was hard-packed powder snow until finished because of high altitude. It was good because there was not sign indicated "NO JUMPING". If there were these sign, I feel that says "Don't come here!".

12/11 おんたけ

天気:晴れ 雪質:固く締まった後少し緩む

待ちに待った木曾方面のオープンです。10時ごろに混雑のピークでしたが、それでもリフト待ちは数分。午後に少し緩んでコブができてきたらそれで飛ぶのが楽しかった。初すべりなのに8:30-13:30まで滑っていいのだろうか?!

高速代8400*50/58/3, ガソリン/軽油代5200/3, 駐車場代0, リフト代3000, で合計7500でした。(3人)

12/11 Kiso-Fukushima Ontakae Ski area

Weather : Fair, Snow condition : Corn snow after firm snow

Kiso corner opened I've been waiting for. Peak of crowding at 10 am, still lift waiting time was few minutes. We enjoyed jumping bumps that was generated little melted snow in the afternoon. Should I ski down from 8:30 am until 1:30 pm for the first time in a long waiting season?!

Express way toll : 8400x50/58/3, Gas money : 5200/3, Parking fee : 0, Lift ticket price : 3000, Total : 7500 (Number of persons : 3)
