'06/8/19 今年はスキーシーズンが終わっても暇にならなかったのですが、さすがにあまりにも狂いだして気持ち悪いのでお盆休みに調律。 主に3本の弦の周波数のずれを調整。これはいつもの方法で調整。あとは鍵盤個々の周波数の調整。これは、隣の音階の鍵盤と同時に弾いたとき、周波数の違いが「ワワワワワ」といううねりになるので、そのうねりの周期を聞き比べて違っているところがあれば3本の弦とも調整するという方法でやると確実。 だいたい1時間くらいで完了です。 ちなみに我が家のピアノは前々から鍵盤が重いと思ってたのですが、この前たまたま別のピアノを弾く機会があったら軽かった。これは鍵盤の材質の問題みたい・・・。 |
Aug 19 2006 Skiing season was over but I don't have much time in this year. I feel unpleasantness of bad tune so I tuned a piano in Bon vacation. Mainly I adjusted frequency difference between 3 strings. This was adjusted as usual. After that I adjusted frequency on the each keys. It's sure to check the beat frequency between target and next key, and if difference beat frequency is found, adjust 3 strings. It was completed around 1 hour. Incidentally, I have been thought my piano has heavy key. I had a chance to play another piano and I felt it was light key. It seems to be problem of key material. |
'05/5/2 スキーシーズンも終わり、暇になったので調律。 今回は10ヶ月ぶりの割にはそれほど狂ってなかったので、微妙にずれていたところを再調整。調整のやり方は真ん中のペダルを使って音を出しながら、うなり音が消えそうな位置でピタッと止める方法。だいぶ慣れてきた。しかし、最初に音叉を使ってAの音を調整(ちょっと下がっていた)したら、微妙に和音の響きがずれた感じ。しかし大変そうなのでまた次回ということで・・・ |
May 2 2005 Skiing season was over. I had free time so I tried to tune a piano. Our piano was not quite bad tuned in spite of after an interval of 10 months, so I tuned subtly different keys. How to tune is sound using a center pedal, turn a lever, and stop a lever when a whining sound will be stopped. I'm catching on. But the A key that I tuned with tuning fork to 440Hz, chord is not harmonically. But that sounds like a lot of bother, therefore I will tune that next time. |
'04/7/19 さすがにこれだけ暑いと、色々音がずれて気持ち悪いので久々に調律、調律…。 今回はO2A-,Aあたりがうなり出したので、それをひとまず調整。この辺りは音階が低いので調整しやすい。その調子でO4Aまで30箇所程度調整。だんだん疲れてきた。最後のほうでO5Bにうなりを見つけてしまい、ほんのちょっと回すというか力を入れるだけで「ウワウワウワ」とうなるので実に難しい、この辺は偶然ぴったり来るところを探すような感じ…もっと微調整できるようにしてほしいなぁ。最後におねちに何曲か演奏してもらい、気持ち悪いところを指摘された(O3D)。たしかに1本ずれていたので、調整して完了。 しかし久々に蓋を半分開けるととんでもなくでかい音が出る。やっぱりグランドピアノは家庭向きではないかも。でかいし。 |
Jul 19 2004 I feel many keys are bad tuned as maybe expected of hot, I'll tune a piano. At this time, A and A flat in octave 2 key have a whining sound. These keys are low scale so easy to tune. I tuned about 30 keys to A key in octave 4 on the same track. I became be tired. At last, I found a whining sound at B key in octave 5. This key is very difficult to tune because tuning a lever but few then a whining sound will change to a large degree. I would like to be able to tune delicately. Finally let "Onechi" plays few songs and she found a bad tuned D key in octave 3. It was true that one of string had different frequency a little. I think it sound very loud when opening half lid. A grand piano is not for home. |
'04/5/8 スキーシーズンも終わり、暇な土曜日(?)が久々に訪れたので全面的に調律することにした。 春が近づく頃から全体的にずれていて気になっていたので、1つ1つチェック開始。今回、新しい技を発見して作業がとっても速くなった。その技とは・・・、センターペダルを踏んで音を出し続けながら弦を微調整する方法。これならうなりが連続して「ワワワワ…ワンワンワン…ウワンウワンウワン・・・ウワーンウワーーーーーー・・・ウワーーーーーー・・・ウワーン・・・ウワンウワン…ワンワンワン…ワワワワ」となるので、ちょうど一致するところを探しやすい。だから今回はかなりの弦(20箇所程度)を調整したが1時間程度で終わった。 いやぁ、これでまた調律代を浮かすことができた。んーすけサマサマって感じ。(謎) |
May 8 2004 Skiing season was over. I had free time after a long interval so I'll tune a piano full part. I noticed bad tune at the approach of spring, so I started to check piece by piece. At this time, I found a new technique so quicken to tune. This technique is, using a center pedal, staying on sound, and turning a lever. This way makes a whining sound will change like as "Wawawa...wan wan wan... owan owan owan... owah----owah... owan owan owan... wan wan wan... wawawa", so it's easy to find stopping a whining sound. At this time I tuned about 20 keys but I completed about 1 hour. Yeah, I can save charge for tuning a piano. I feel "Good job, Nm-Soukae". |
'03/10/19 前回調律したO5Fがまたまたずれてきて、しかもヒマ(?)だったので調律をすることにした。 だんだんうなりに敏感になってきたため、0.3Hzのずれが気になるのはそれとして、それを調律するのはかなり難しく、またちょっとするとずれてしまう。とは言うものの、クイクイやっていればだんだん合うようになってきたので今回はO4B,O4A#,O4G,O4C#の調整もやって15分ほどで完了。これでやっとセンター長らしくなってきたかも。 …と思ったらそんなに甘くなかった。ものの1時間でおねちからO5Fがうなっていると言われ、もう一度調律することに。なかなかうなりが収まらないが、苦戦してなんとか収まったと思ったらもとの気持ち悪い音に戻っていた。 これではいけないと、電子音と比較してみたら、全体的な音階はずれていないのだが、一番奥の弦がミからファに変化するような音になっている。しかし、これは調律の範疇外というか、他の弦の共鳴も関係しているようなので、一旦3本の弦を全部上げてみた。しかし、1オクターブ離れた音とも微妙にずれてしまうので、これはこれで気持ち悪い。で、再度元に戻してうなりが出ないように調整すると、やっとマシな音になった。苦労したした。 |
Oct 19 2003 F key in octave 5 was bad tuned and I had free time so I decided to tune a piano. I became to sensitize about a whining sound, so I was nervous about different 0.3Hz. But tuning this is very difficult and after a period of time it will be bad tuned. That said, it became to be able to adjust and I completed to tune B, A sharp, G, and C sharp in octave 4 about 15 minutes. Maybe I was a chief of Skevenia piano tuning center. Then again it is not easy. After 1 hour "Onechi" said F in octave 5 sounds a whining sound, I had to tune again. I put my efforts into tune again, but it returned former yacky sound. This was not right and I compared an electric sound from keyboard, frequency did not different but innermost string sounded like increasing frequency E to F key. But this is the outside of tuning, then I turned a lever for increasing frequency. So it had difference with upper octave key, this was not good. Then again I returned that and tuned again, it sounded not bad tuned. My efforts were well rewarded. |
'03/10/4 前回調律したO5Fがまたずれてきて、ちょっとうなるようになったので再度調律することにした。 さすがに、ネジをまわすのは2回目ということもあってだんだん慣れてきた。3本の弦のどれがずれているか調べたら、一番右がずれていたので微調整するとうなりはなくなった。 いやぁよかった…と思って何曲が弾いていて、ドナウ河のさざなみを弾くとなんかO5FとO4Dの和音が気持ち悪い。でもこんなもんかと思いつつ何回も弾いていたが、やっぱり気になるので再調整することにした。 で、何がずれているかはっきり分からなかったが、ちょっと音階が下がっているような感じだったので、ためしに3本ともクイっと締めて音階を上げてみた。(1Hzくらい?) すると、気持ち悪さはなくなった。いやぁ、よかった。 で、そうなると欲が出てきて気持ち悪いところを徹底的に調べてみた。またドナウ河のさざなみで、O4G#とO4Bの和音があるが、これも響きが悪い。調べると、O4G#が「ジュワーン」とかなり遅めのうなりが出ていた。0.2Hz程度かも知れない。これも3本のうち一番右の弦がずれていたので、クイっとやるとずれすぎて「グワングワン」になってしまった。何回かクイクイやっているうちに、ちょぅどいいところで止まって「ジュワーン」が「ダーン」になった。で、もうひとつのO4Bもちょっぴりジュワってたので、これも調整。これは真ん中の弦がずれていた。 この辺の0.2Hzくらいのずれを修正しだすと、最初に調整したO5Fもよく聴くと3本とも微妙にずれていた。高い音になるとクイっと回すと一気に「ワウワウワウワウ」とうなるので、コンコンっと叩いて微調整するようにした。 前回はかなりはまってしまった感のある調律でしたが、今回はなかなか調子よかった。これなら専門の調律師を呼ぶのは1〜2年に一回ですむかも。 |
Oct 4 2003 F key in octave 5 was bad tuned again, it sounded a whining sound and I decided to tune a piano again. As may be expected of the second time around for turning a lever, I became to tune well than before. I checked which were bad tuned in 3 strings, that is at the far right and I adjusted then disappearing a whining sound. I thought it was good job and I played some songs, I noticed a code between F key in octave 5 and D key in octave 4 is not good. Maybe it was just me and I played again but I decided to tune again. I did not clear what was bad tuned, but I felt frequency might be low a little, and I tried doing turned a lever for increasing frequency. (approx. 1Hz?) Yeah, it was good. Then I desired to check yacky keys. I played again Donau ripple and I noticed a code between G sharp and B key in octave 4 sounded bad tuned. I checked and found G sharp key sounded a slow whining sound. It might be 0,2Hz. Also at the far right string was different, I turned a lever then it sounded "Wawawa". I turned again and finally it sounded "Dahn". And B key in octave 4 was different and I adjusted. The center string was bad tuned. I adjusted these 0.2Hz difference of frequency, then I noticed F key in octave 5 had difference a little. If I turned a lever normally in high score key, it will sound "Wawawa", so I decided to adjust by knocking a lever. Last time around I had trouble with tuning, but this time around it was in good form. This might be I'll have my piano tuning 1 or 2 times per year. |
'03/8/23 \20,000で購入したピアノ調律小道具を片手に調律を始める。ピアノは1つの音階に弦が3本張ってあり、その3本の音階を微妙に調整することで音色が調整できる。先月、専門の調律師に調律してもらったピアノだが、O5F(オクターブ5のファ)の音色が気になっていた(音階は合っているのだけど)。 まずはO5Fの弦の場所を確かめて、弦を固定しているネジのようなものに道具を突っ込んで回そうとするが、やはり固い。かなり力を入れると、グィという感じで数度回る。(ちなみに90度も回すとまちがいなく弦が切れるらしい) この数度の回転で、周波数は0.5Hzくらいずれる。(各弦どうしのうなりで分かる) O5Fについては、まだ余り力を入れてなかったので、何回かクィクィしているうちにいい音色になった。 ついでに、ちょっと気になっていた隣のO5E(ミ)も調整。これもちょっと回すといい感じになった。 調子に乗って何曲か弾いてみて、他の音階もチェックしたが、O4B(シ)もなんとなく気持ち悪い。そこで調整しだしたが、ちょっと回りすぎて2Hzぐらい狂ってしまい、3本のうちどれが狂っているのか分からなくなってしまった。 そこで、別の小道具で弦を挟み込んで1本の弦しか音が出ないようにし、1オクターブ下か上の音階と同時にならしてうなりを聴きながら調整。結局3本とも調整して、やっと本来の音になった。 初調律の感想・・・はっきり言って、88鍵全部調律するのは大変でしょう。気が遠くなります。 とりあえず、これで気持ち悪い音はないので当分調律はお休みです。 |
Aug 23 2003 I started to tune a piano having a piano tuning kit that I bought 20,000 yen. A piano has 3 strings in 1 key, it is able to adjust tone by tuning each strings. In the last month, we had our piano tuning by piano tuner, but I was nervous about F key in octave 5. (It may be frequency is right.) At first, I confirmed position of F key in octave 5, and I inserted the tool to a screw that fixed string. Next I tried to turn lever but it was very hard. When I made strong muscle into a lever, then turned few degrees. (If that help, turning 90 degrees then string will be cut. Frequency will change 0.5Hz by turning few degree. (We noticed by a whining sound.) I did not make strong muscle yet at F key in octave 5, so I made a little muscle to a lever then it was good tuned. Along the matter, I adjusted E key in octave 5 that I was nervous about, it was also good. Spurred on by my success, I played some song and I checked other keys, then I felt difference at B key in octave 5. I started to tune but I turned a lever too much then frequency difference was about 2Hz. I lost which string was bad tuned. Then again, I nipped a tool to strings to sound only one string. And I tuned by hearing a whining sound with upper octave key. Finally I completed to tune. My impression of first tuning a piano is, Tuning all 88 keys is very hard. I feel overwhelmed. In the meantime, there were no nervous sounds. Tuning a piano will be break for quite a while. |
