SSR ANNUAL SUMMER CAMP

During our Summer Camp, all students gather and stay in a hutt near a temple located in Yoro City, Gifu.During this time, parents have some free time, while their children are enjoying their time at the camp, learning about Zen Buddhism & Karate. One of the highlights of the camp, is a visit to Yoro Waterfall, Here, students are able to stand under the waterfall to improve their mind & spirit.

ZEN SSR SUMMER CAMP: VISIT TO YORO WATERFALL

During SSR Summer Camp, it is compulsory for all students to participate in visiting the Waterfall. This is very important for SSR, by training the mind & spirit.

MORNING CALISTHENICS

In the morning, the kids participate in Calisthenics, to help start their day.

KIDS ENDURE THE POWERFUL WATERFALL

Kids learn the rules of Nature by being under the waterfall.

SUMMER CAMP LECTURE BY SSR MASTER

The students listen while the Master lectures about general & serious topics, which teaches the kids about morals.

Every Year, the Master Enters the powerful waterfall first, then, every one follows him.

THE ADULTS HELPING THE KIDS

The children are not stong enough to go under the waterfall alone, so, the adults help them by placing them under for a very short time.Sometimes, the strength of the water pressure is so powerfull, it scares the children.

Standing under the Waterfall for too long can cause dizziness.
