INFORMATION

Whenever a new album comes out or some other event takes place in Japan, I write about it in my news section. But, otherwise I don't have much information. Everyone wants to hear more news about the band, but there in the way of music TV shows or magazines so there is very little information to be found in Japan. This makes the Internet a very important source. Luckly, Mike Reinemann, webmaster of the Def Leppard Satellite of Love, has given me permission to translate his news section into Japanese. Additionally, whenever I do have Japan-related information, I'll send it to DEF LEPPARD SATELLITE OF LOVE.

I put some pics on my pages without any official support or permission. I just wanted everyone to remember him. I think it is getting difficult for new fans to find his pics nowadays.

This site is for Japanese Def Leppard fans, so the English sections are only updated every once in a while. When I have made an update, I let people know by posting on the mailing list DefNet.

Whenever Def Leppard comes to Japan I post their tour information in a special section, including set lists, tour dates, etc.

I really do not mind anyone linking their page to my own, but please email me first.

One day in 1992, I went a club with my friends. When I was at the bar , a boy came to me and said : "I like DEF LEPPARD too. But I'm new to this kind of music. My favorite member of the band is Vivian. What's yours?" I think he saw my T-shirt. I said, "I loved Steve Clark !!" Then he said : "Why? He was terrible, wasn't he? He couldn't sing live, didn't play in the album....He was just an alcoholic."

I didn't know what to say or how to make him know that Steve was great and sweet. Also, I didn't know how to make him understand about the inspiration that he gave us when he played the guitar in the band.

DEF LEPPARD is still my No.1 favorite band and I do like Vivian.

However, the reason that I made this site is because I just wanted to tell every new and old fan who visited this site that Steve should not be forgotten.

Pease, please don't forget about him, especially his smiling face, guitar riffs, staging and everything else we could know about Steve in the time he was alive.

Thanks,

Kuma
