日本語通訳ボランティア募集要項

活動内容
学生団体タイナコリの春期渡航に同行し、タイ人との交流の際にタイ語から日本語、及び日本語からタイ語への通訳を行って頂きます。日本語が不得意でも、英語で訳せる場合は採用を検討します。
報酬
基本的に無報酬で、同行中の経費(滞在費、食費、交通費など)は当団体は負担しかねます。
応募資格
国籍・年齢・語学の資格などは問いませんが、日本人学生と一緒に活動したいというやる気と体力があると望ましいです。
その他
プログラム期間中、学生で授業がある、社会人で仕事を休めないなどの理由で、プログラムの全日程参加が難しい場合は柔軟にスケジュールを組むので、一度下記の連絡先に問い合わせてください。
このボランティアに参加するメリット
1. 同年代の日本人学生と２週間の共同生活を営むことによって、実践的な日本語に触れ、日本語の会話能力の向上が望める。また、日本の最新情報や文化について学ぶことができる。
2. 日本語通訳の実践的な練習ができる。豊かな自然が残る山岳少数民族の村にホームステイすることにより、価値観の違う人々の暮らしを体験し、国内の文化の多様性に触れることができる。
3. 日本人学生とタイ人学生の文化交流に参加することで、よりグローバルな視点を獲得し、社会・地域の発展に貢献するきっかけを得られる。
学生団体タイナコリについて
日本の大学生が集まり、タイ北部に住んでいるパーカニョー族（山岳少数民族）と異文化交流を図り、お互いに自身の文化を再認識するという理念に基づいて活動しています。毎年、夏と春の年2回タイに渡航し、共同生活を通してお互いの文化を知ること、子供達や同年代の人に広い世界への好奇心を持たせることを目的としています。活動の詳細は下記ホームページをご覧下さい。

Guidelines for applicants
about Japanese interpritation volunteers
Student Organization “Thai Nakori” Spring Camp

14days: from Feb 13th to Feb 27th 2013
Place
10 days at a Chomthong Student Dormitory for youth of mountain tribes, and 4days at a village of the Karen

Activity
You will travel with the spring camp Thai Nakori and interpret Japanese conversations into Thai and vice versa. If you prefer English to Japanese, we will consider your acceptance.
Cost
No rewards, but our organization will pay for all the expenses during the program (stay, food and transportation expenses etc )
Requirement
Your age, nationality and language ability does not matter so much, but it is necessary to be outgoing in order to take part in activities and discussions with Japanese students.

If it is difficult to join all the programs due to classes or part time jobs, please contact the below addresses. We will try to be flexible in arranging a schedule.
Advantages in joining the spring camp as a volunteer
1. You will be able to develop your Japanese. You will also be able to learn the latest information about Japanese culture or society.
2. You will be able to practice translating Japanese. By living with the locals at a village of the minority race, you will experience the diverse cultures within the Thai.
3. You will be able to gain a global way of thinking through cultural exchanges with Japanese students, and will have opportunities to contribute to social development.
About the Student Organization Thai Nakori
Japanese students exchange cultures with the Karen(the Pakanyo) living in the northern part of Thai . We hope that both sides are reminded of the value of their own cultures as well as others. We visit Thai twice a year (spring and summer). Aims of our activities are to come to understand each other’s culture through living together and to promote curiosity of the larger world beyond our daily lives.
