　　　　自己表現の大切さについて校長先生は語られた。３年生はまもなく受験、自分を売り込まなければならない。
　　 「私を採用しなければ損だよ」　「私を合格させなければ後悔するよ」と思わせなければならない。
　　コミュニケーションの最終目標は、相手にアクションを起こさせること。　そのためにどうすればよいのかを考える
　　ことが大切である。

Mark’s Speech:

始業式に先立ちRYANの後任の紹介があった。MARKは英語に続いて日本語であいさつをした。

Good morning everyone.  My name is Mark Andal.  I am 22 years old.  I am the new ALT.  I come from Mississauga city in Canada.  Mississauga city is very close to Toronto.  Toronto is much different than Toyooka.  There are only buildings to see.  Toyooka has many mountains, rice fields, beautiful skies, and clean lakes to see.  Thus, I enjoy Toyooka very much.

I studied biology and psychology at University of Toronto, the hardest university in all of Ontario.  I don’t know yet what my future career will be.  But I will probably become either a doctor or a neuropsychologist.
　I have 3 hobbies.  One, I play the piano.  However, I stopped playing many years ago.  Two, I do break dance and popping.  They are very fun dances.  Three, I like to sing.  However, my singing is terrible.  If I sing, people cover their ears because it is painful to listen to.  My singing is like a weapon; it is very dangerous.
　I may look Japanese, but I am Filipino.  Please come by the teacher’s office and talk to me.  I would like to get to know each one of you better.  It is a pleasure to meet you all.  Let’s have a fun year!
