松山城の石垣 a
Stone Wall at Matsuyama castle
松山は天守閣の残る御城として知られている。
美しく石垣が巡らされた城内を辿ると、松山市内を一望に出来る天守閣に到達する。
松山市は愛媛県の県庁所在地であるが、古くは賤ヶ岳の戦いで名を成した加藤義明氏の築城で、徳川幕府において久松氏の１５万石の城下町として繁栄した。現在４４万強の人口を擁する四国の要所となっている。
松山は、伊予絣が特産で、臨海部に化学工業が立地しており「帝人」が有名である。
又、松山と言えば、夏目漱石の「坊ちゃん」が忘れられないものであり、その中にも紹介されている「道後温泉｣が古くから親しまれている。
Matsuyama is known as one of a castle where the castle tower remains.
We reache the castle tower when we are tracing the stone wall in the castle,
where the Matsuyama city can be seen all round in beautifull view.
Matsuyama is a capital city in Ehime Pref. locating prefectural government
address. The castel was fortificated by Katou Yoshiaki who is famous during
the war at Shizugatani. At the period of Tokugawa Shogunate, it was prospered
big scale of town, by Hisamatu 150,000 Goku.
It is a key point in Shikoku area which has the population of 440,000 or
more now.
Iyo splashed patterns is famous for the special products of Matsuyama,
and the chemical industry is located in the seaside part and "Teijin"
is famous.
Moreover, one of the nobel written by Soseki Natsume "Bocchyan"
is not forgotten, and the "DoGo Hot spring" is familiar from
old that is introduced in the nobel.

先に述べた「道後温泉｣の湯元で、旅の疲れと人生の滓（少し大げさか)を洗い流してきた。
道後温泉は、「日本書紀」にも登場する日本最古の温泉場との事である。
湯元は、大衆浴場の形態を呈しており、低料金で入浴を楽しむ事が出来る。
At the source "Yumoto" place of a hot spring of "DoGo Hot
spring" I enjoyed, and the tiredness of travel and dregs of the life
(It a little exaggerated?) have been flushed.
DoGo Hot Spring is the oldest hot spring resort in Japan to which appears
in "Nohonshoki" Japanese oldest history record.
As the form of the general public bathroom, "Yumoto" can be presented
to enjoy taking a bath by a low charge.
