So titled is this homepage after the autobiography titled "Passion for Anciant Times" of Heinrich Schliemann, a German archeologist, who discovered the "Trojan Ruins". Schliemann tried to achieve this great feat on his own account after he had first become a successful businessman.
He was well versed in several modern languages including Russian and successful as a polyglot businessman. He was making preparations for the excavation of Trojan Ruins at his own cost and risk. At the same time he even made positive efforts to master classical Greek and Latin in anticipation of a dire necessity of deciphering epigraphs that might be found during excavation.
If one hears of such a story, one would think it would be more sensible not to remain stuck with just English conversation or much less drop the idea of mastering it.
Generally speaking, to master a foreign language, one may be able to think of several different approaches, for example, teaching oneself, attending a class (typically English converstion class), going to a foreign language school, taking a private lesson, going abroad to study a foreign language, exchanging languages or even attending a special-language class.
If you click some of the icons on the left side, you may be able to get some hints for the mastery of your target language. And if you start thinking there may be some more icons hidden, the chances are you may be a person with a formidable PASSION FOR LANGUAGES.
