１９９３年７月以降ネパールの難民キャンプで暮らしているブータン難民の支援に努めている民間団体(NGO)アフラ・ジャパン(AHURA JAPAN)は最近、難民キャンプ内の学校の先生に教材の提供を依頼されました。特に物理と科学の実験が現在全く不可能になっています。また、５才から小学校３年生のための教材が不足しています。キャンプの教育の責任は、カリタス(CARITAS)にありますが、３万人の生徒の教育を十分保証できるほどの予算をもらっています。ダマク市（ネパール）のカリタス事務所に集まったキャンプの学校の教師達によって、必要な教材が下記の表のようにまとめられました。

Since 1993 AHURA JAPAN (NGO) has been active in assisting Bhutanese refugees in refugee camps in Nepal in many ways (sholarships etc.). Last month our group has been asked by teachers in the camp schools to provide teaching materials. Especially in physics and chemistry there is no chance to make experiments and also preschool children up to third
year need a lot of teaching materials. Of course Caritas is looking after education at the camps. But their budget is not big enough to cover all the 30,000(!) schoolchildren. Campschool-teachers gathered at Caritas office in Damak-city
(Nepal) and decided to ask AHURA JAPAN for the following items listed below.
