So warm I could do without a jacket. However, tomorrow is going to be a cold day, the weatherman says. Today was a full day. Had a Korean study session in the afternoon. Some students came to see me at different times. Did a lot of printing, including the staff meeting resume for tomorrow.

Tuesday, November 29, 2011 Cloudy

Yesterday was a busy day. Checked dozens of reports and made one Reading handout. Today was a substitute holiday, which means going to the Korean and Chinese classes. The Chinese lesson was the last one for this term. The next term will start on January 10, 2012.

Sunday, November 27, 2011 Cloudy

A workday. On my way to the nearest station from home, voted in the gubernatorial election. At work made an English Thandout after studying Korean and having a English study session. I got dead exhausted today at the end of the day. Bought something to eat for supper because my wife was under the weather.

Saturday, November 26, 2011 Fair

Not much happened today. Just one of those holidays. Tomorrow is the Osaka governor election day. More than half of the voters are for the so-called Osaka metropolitan project. I am not. Most Osakans are bullying Osaka's public servants, and that political party takes advantage of that. Osaka will be wrecked in the near future. That is for sure. Osaka will be more in the red.

Friday, November 25, 2011 Cloudy

It has gotten quite cold at night. It was a good thing that I had a sweater with me. At work made two kinds of handouts on my PC. Still two homeroom teachers left as for the school festival support money. Got a bottle of sake on the way home. That brand usually tastes good, but this time not too good. Too bad. I wrote in somebody's Facebook " You look like you have reached your twilight years." So have I. Soon I will get to the state where I have no idea who is who, dying eventually. 誰そ彼 days are in a way comforting when we think about the troubles of the present age.

Thursday, November 24, 2011 Cloudy

Not much happened today. Had a Korean study session. Made two kinds of handouts. Checked the inputted data for the second term. Prepared envelopes for my homeroom class. The temperature dropped this morning. Fatigue seemed to have piled up these days.

Wednesday, November 23, 2011 Cloudy

Labor Thanksgiving Day. Quickly finished reading a book or two from the library, hurried to the library to return them through the book drop. Most of the time I barely made the deadline. Today was no exception. From the library I took a walk for some time. Then watched the recording of Korean and Chinese dramas for a couple of hours, taking a nap afterwards, listening to my iPod. Got quite cold. Even colder tomorrow, the weatherman says.

Tuesday, November 22, 2011 Fair

Passed out school festival money to homeroom teachers and club advisers. Still six left. This was done yesterday. Today taking several hours off, I did what I liked to do. However, at the end of the day exhausted. Got to return the three library books ASAP.

Sunday, November 20, 2011 Fair

The weather was good today. I sunbathed with one of our cats for a while. There was a condo board meeting this morning. I suggested something to improve our life here. Watched all the drama recordings on TV. Then I made a plan and did things according to that plan. I needed a little regimentation.

Saturday, November 19, 2011 Rainy

The day before yesterday's staff meeting was tough. Because next school year has some uncertain factors, annual planning is not easy. I am suppoosde to be in charge of the next meeting. I hate it. Yesterday was an OK day. However, I left something behind at school, so I went to get it today. On the way I had a haircut. In the morning went to the English conversation session.

Wednesday, November 16, 2011 Cloudy

The first day of the third term. Taught just one class, OCT. Short of time, and the leftover will be carried over into the next lesson. Hope I can manage. I had one student after another to take care of at different times. Got one handout ready. Yesterday's Korean and Chinese classes were so-so.

Monday, November 14, 2011 Cloudy

Yesterday being a workday, I had to go somewhere. I was on duty for some time, but the next colleagues never showed up. It was just too cold standing there all by myself. Today was a full day at work. The retests took nearly three hours. Had an English study meeting, too.

Saturday, November 12, 2011 Cloudy

Although I went out here and there, by and large I took it easy all day today. Returned three library books in the evening. Tomorrow is a workday. Tonight I am going to watch the Chinese drama Irujima on Channel Ginga around midnight.

Friday, November 11, 2011 Rainy and then cloudy.

Only a few came to take their makeups-only seven. Made a couple of handouts. The mouse did not work well, so asked for a different one. Now it is OK. TGIF. I will eat, drink, and be merry tonight. According to a survey, the Osakans are the unhappiest in Japan. Is it because of the former governor? Maybe part of the reason. Osaka prefectural public servants'pay is the smallest in Japan thanks to him. Osaka residents in general enjoy seeing public servants being bullied by the one in power, not knowing the buck will be passed back to themselves. Well, in the near future history will be repeating itself-Japan rearming with nuclear weapons. By then I will be dead and gone, though.

Thursday, November 10, 2011 Cloudy

There were two meetings today at work. One was just another Student Council teachers' gathering, and the other was a lecture by a colleague on sexual orienation. After these meetings, marked the Reading exam papers and inputted the results on My PC, which was very convenient. Also made an OCThandout on the same PC. One glitch, however, is the mouse behaves badly.

Wednesday, November 9, 2011 Cloudy

Yesterday due to a railroad accident, the trains were not running, and I was unable to attend the Korean class. Sevrice was restored in an hour or so, so I went to the Chinese class in the evening. Today was a full workday. I had my PC back on my desk. It was three months of so before I got it back..

Monday, November 7, 2011 Cloudy

Had a hectic time at work today. I was so busy invigilating, being on duty at two different times, checking over 20 reports, and marking today's OCTexam sheets that my head was literally swimming. I have gained some weight lately. I know why. I drank a lot at night after getting back home. Maybe due to stress.

Sunday, November 6, 2011 Cloudy

Today being a workday, I marked the English Texam papers and inputted the results into the computer after I had an English study session. Again my wife being under the weather, I bought something to eat on the way home. Yesterday went to the English conversation school. These days I keep forgetting English spellings. Is it because I am aging? Well, whatever the reason may be, I cannot affort to stay disappointed. I need a forwardlooking attitude.

Friday, November 4, 2011 Fair

Yesterday was an OK day. I did things according to plan, accomplishing quite a lot. Today being day one of the 2nd-term exam period, I invigilated two exams. Checked around 20 reports and still in the process of marking the EnglishTexam sheets. There were 55 of them. Quite a few. The Chinese booklet I bought the other day turned out to be quite useful. The size is right, so handy.

Wednesday, November 2, 2011 Fair and so hot, over 27 degrees Celcius.

Got up later than usual this morning. Walked for half the usual distance, too, doing my daily routine as usual. At work had a Korean study session for one and a half hours or so. Did the Super Crossword, too. Yesterday was a full day, too. Reported to work, took some hours off, and went to both the Korean and Chinese classes, which I enjoyed.
