　The athletic meeting has been cancelled because of Typhoon No.17. I took seven hours off and returned home. Yesterday relaxed at home all day after checking out some books at the library.

Friday, September 28, 2012 Fair

　I don't kow why but I felt so tired at work today. While teaching in the 4th period, I felt most tired. Then I had an English study session unprepared. Managed anyway. Come to think of it, yesterday was rather a busy day. I attended a meeting for the athletic meeting. I had to prepare a transcript and a letter of recommendation for a homeroom student, which work was so very tiring. And the fafigue which had piled up becaused of the day before yesterday was still in my system.

Wednesday, September 26, 2012 Fair

　Yesterday I was at home all day doing nothing in particular. Today I was so very busy working. No time to take a break. Because today was the deadline for the first-term reports, so many students came at the last minute. One of them came around 9:00 p.m., which was unprecedented and unthinkable!!! The students have changed. They just want the results. The process is missing. I am afraid these days some teachers just provide them with answers instead of making them work on their own even for a while. I don't this is the way it should be.

Monday, September 24, 2012 Fair

　Two classes to teach. Two makeups to take care of. Dozens of reports to correct. No time to breathe for over five hours. Exhausted at the end of the day. Very busy all day dealing with one student after another.

Sunday, September 23, 2012 Fair

　Went to work in time. No time to buy bread on the way. At work worked on my own my own way. The weather was OK. Went shopping on my way home.

Saturday, September 22, 2012 Fair

　In no mood to do anything. Mostly rested today. Yesterday only had two study meetings-Korean and English. The former at the nearby restaurant.

Thursday, September 20, 2012 Cloudy

　Cannot paste Cat's-Paw-san's new cat picture. I have no idea why, but this happened once in the past, too. There was a meeting in support of a colleague who is now in serious trouble. There were over 20 fellow teachers present. How can a man be such an evil-doer. Better to have nothing to do with the underworld.

Wednesday, September 19, 2012 Fair

　Coming back home, tembpted by my wife, overeating myself. She must be a cat's-paw of the devil. Today at work checked 40 reports and took care of a few makeups at different times. From today on we are supposed to swipe twice.

Tuesday, September 18, 2012 Rainy and then cloudy.

　Went jogging but it began raining all of a sudden. Hurried back home and did the STEPWELL exercis. Went shopping as usual, buying bread, an apple and some side dishes. In the afternoon went to the Korean class. The quiz last week was not perfect-one mistake. After the class was over, almost all the class ate out. The place left much to be desired.

　Went to Mom's place this morning because today was Respect-for- the-Aged Day. Coming back home, rearranged the furniture with the help of my wife's sister. Everything went smoothly. The cats, however, were running around.

Sunday, September 15, 2012 Fair

　Had an English study session. Solved the Super Crossword and sent my anwers on my smartphone. Attended today's Chinese class. Inteview with the vice principal was done-personnel-related one. Bought a bottle of Yomeishu for Mom because tomorrow is Respect-for-the-Aged Day.

Saturday, September 15, 2012 Cloudy, thundering a lot.

　When I went jogging this morning, my wife came along and took a walk in the same park. It thundered a lot today, too, in the evening. Maybe climate change. I was in no mood for anything, idling away my time.

Friday, September 14, 2012 Cloudy, thundring a lot again.

　Just one class to teach. While teaching, it was thundering outside. There were 31 students present in the classroom. Then checked some reports and was on duty in the counseling room. While there, I had two students to help. with their reports. TGIF. Came home and drank beer and ate some boiled green soybeans.

Thursday, September 13, 2012 Fair

　Today it has been so hot you could get a heat stroke if you are not careful. There was an extra staff meeting where the vice pricipal explained several things. including the need to clock out as well from 19th on. That puts still extra pressure on us teachers. The atmosphere at work has changed drastically for the worse over the past decade. I sense something ominous in the air.

　Again a railroad accident involving death and delayed by over an hour. This is now a daily occurrence in this country. The abnormal is normal. People get numb to the stern realities. People committing suicide are not necessarily losers in life, but is this normal? Why so many suicides in Japan?

Tuesday, September 11, 2012 Cloudy

　Been to the Korean language school. Had a test today. Next week we are having a meal together after class. This morning while jogging, it thundered a bit, so I left the ground and ran along the conventional road nearby.

Monday, September 10, 2012 Cloudy and so very humid (over 70 %)

　Our little cat will not eat or drink on its own. She must be forced to take in food or water. Well, she was a stray and if my wife had not found it, she would have died then and there. Today it was so humid at the workplace I got so tired so easily. The humidity really got me.

Sunday, September 9, 2012 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　Had an English study session. Studied Korean a lot. On the way home got a mail from my wife saying for me to buy box suppers at the usual department. So I did. However, it began to rain and carrying all those things in my hands,the two bento, another shopping bag, and my umbrella, all in that rain was really a hassle. In addition, I was tired from working in this humid weather. What a demanding wife!

　It was a bit rainy in the morning. Our first-born son came over for his old photos to be used for his wedding. He is leaving for China tomorrow on business. By and large, today's plan of mine did not go the way I wanted it to. Well, anyway I could relax. That is enough. Tomorrow is a workday. Received an email from my American friend today. Wrote back right away.

　It thundered today, too. It often thunders these days. Maybe climate change. Japan is no longer in the temperate zone. It is in the subtropical zone now. Today was so humid, too, that I found it rather uncomfortable in the English Interview Room. I drink a lot of beer these days. I seem to be gaining weigth because of that. Well, when it gets cool, I will lose weight.

Thursday, September 6, 2012 Cloudy and humid.

　Last night our two cats were running around in the living room, even running over me on the safa massager. I got injured and bled a little. I got several cuts. They hurt. My wife put some bandages on the cuts after disinfecting the wounds. I felt so drowsy this morning. Is it due to lack of sleep? Your sleep gets shallow with age, you know. Two meetings today at work. When I was in America, I thought Americans think much of human rights because of so much racism in their country. I, as an Asian, was discriminated against sometimes, but by and large, Americans were frank and nice. Now I am on the human rights committee at work. I know you have to fight for your rights, but it is always the sqweaky wheel that gets the grease. Also there is safety in numbers.

　Yesterday's Korean class was no good. I did not feel like studying. I like the Korean language, but these days South Korea is too much for me. Love me, love my dog, you know. I am no nationalist, but their attitude is going too far. That may be part of the reason. Today so busy at work, which is OK. It was still rather humid during the day.

The JR train service was again distrupted. I am sick and tired of this. On the way home, my tired body cannot stand it. These days there are many people who do not mind standing on the doorway on the train. They do not seem to care about being in the way of others. Such people have no manners but they lack such awareness. Things are changing in this day and age. What a pity!

　Although it is still hot and humid, I can feel autumn in the air. Today at work things went smoothly just as planned, which is good. Prepared a sheet for the HR on Wednesday. Had an English study session. Studied Korean on my own and read an English story for a while aloud.

　Did the routine exercise early in the morning-slow jogging, radio exercises, etc. Did nothing special for the rest of the day except for working on the Super Crossword. Have to do the Korean homework, though.
