□My 3-sentence Diary
ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last thing I want to doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong, sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
　3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Wednesday, December 31, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　I did not go out except when I did a night slow jog at night. It was so cold in the park. No one else was there. I have gained weight during the holiday season. This year has been an eventful year, not necessarily in a good way, but that is life. Got to take the rough with the smooth.

Tuesday, December 30, 2014 Cloudy

　Probably because I overworked myself cleaning at home, pain is all over-especially my right elbow joint this morning. Age is telling on me. My wife also seems to have been burned-out.　

Monday, December 29, 2014 Cloudy

　Our first-born son and his family have gone to his wife's parents' place. Our granddaughter looked quite healthy. Our son is a good fateher. His wife is a good mother. Our life is back to normal again. It is like a typhoon has gone. We did a lof of cleaning and replacing old things with new ones this month. So very exhausted now. Our home was a mess, so it served us right.

Sunday, December 28, 2014 Cloudy and then rainy.

　Been to my mom's place with my first-born son and his family. He drove a rent-a-car there. Spent two hours or so eating lucnh and chatting. Back home I found my wife sleeping. She looked tired.

Saturday, December 27, 2014 Clloudy, occasionally sunny.

　Our first-born son's family came over. Tried to appease our granddaughter by playing peekaboo a lot. Barely put the home in order before they got here. Been to the dentist late in the afternoon.

Friday, December 26, 2014 Cloudy, occsionally sunny.

　A little while ago there was an earthquake whose epicenter is somewehre in Shiga Prefecture. At work I disposed of some unnecessary stuff. The last workday of the year. Put the medical bills in order. Took me over an hour. My wife looks tired from cleaning the house.

　Yesterday I did so much cleaning at home. I must have been so tired I could not get up early enough this morning. At work there was not very much work to do. Today was a half workday.

Wednesday, December 24, 2014 Cloudy

　Cleaned the window panes at home today. Also discarded the old curtains and hung the new ones. Weeded the backyart a little. Tomorrow is a workday. My wife cleaned the bathroom and the toilet. Late last night our second son got back home from Tokyo, staying with us until January 4 next year.

Tuesday, December 23, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　While my wife was cleaning at home, I rode my bike to the usual DIY store to buy a bathtub lid, a basin, six curtaiins, etc.

Monday, December 22, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　This morgning slow-jogged with my wife in the park. There are only four workdays left for me this year. Today I took one hour off. At work disposed of some unnecessary stuff and put the desk in order. As soon as I got back home, disposed of some unnecessary plastic things, including the bathtub lid.

Sunday, December 21, 2014 Cloudy. occasionally sunny and rainy.

　Went out to buy some beddings with my wife because our first-son's family are coming soon. They are staying with us overnight. And our granddaughter is with them. So, We are going all out to clean the home. I am so tired now.

Saturday, December 20, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　Went to the English conversation school, where we talked about this and that in English. As our instructor is a Japanese who was educated in the US, he knows both American and Japanese mentality. I had to go to the dentist in the eveing.

Friday, December 19, 2014 Sunny, occasionally cloudy.

　Slow-jogged in the park with my wife this morning. At no schooling for me but quite busy helping students and corecting reports. Back home worked on the super crossword far into the night.

Thursday, December 18, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　Yesterday was another freezing day, so I did not go jogging. Did some cleaning. This time mopped the walls and ceilings. Today at work had two meetings as usual. At night jogged anyway in the cold weather. Unlike yesterday or the day before yesterday, it was not windy. It was a starry night.

Tuesday, December 16, 2014 Cloudy

　It was so cold this morning I stayed in my futon instead of going to the sign language club. The temperature stayed cod all day. It even colder at night. It was so windy, too. Therefore refrained from going to the park to jog.

Monday, December 15, 2014 Cloudy

　Slow-jogged in the morning with my wife in the park for 40 minutes or so. At work took care of the 3rd period.

Sunday, December 14, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　A workday. Three calssed to take care of. On the way home, went shopping and then to the polls. Nobody in particular to vote for, though.

Saturday, December 13, 2014 Cloudy and so chilly.

　Went jogging at night with my wife. It felt so chilly. I was freezing. Our first-born son is back home to atthend his frined's wedding. He is staying here overnight.

Friday, December 12, 2014 Cloudy

　Had my ingrown toenail treated at the hospital. So painful. At work not much to do, but I felt so tired when I ate supper around 7:00 p.m. after a long subject meeting.

Thursday, December 11, 2014 Rainy and then cloudy.

　At work made a handout and did the printing after correcting some reports. Translated some Korean into English as usual. Slow-jogged twice-in the morning alone and late at night with my wife.

Wednesday, December 10, 2014 Cloudy

　It is quite chilly today. Been to the clinic. Today physiotherapy only. Told the therapist I would not be able to come if I got transferred next year. This therapist, I think, is excellent. My doctor is young and OK, though.

Tuesday, December 9, 2014 Sunny, occasionally cloudy.

　First thing in the morning did a slow jog in the park. Unless I do, I get a stiff neck easily. Tomorrow got to go the faraway clinic up north.

Monday, December 8, 2014 Clouy, occasionally sunny.

　Went slow-jogging in the morning in the park. At work taught two classes in a row, which was quite tiring, especially at night. Age is telling on me.

Sunday, December 7, 2014 Cloudy

　Reported for work early. Twice on dury-on patrol and on telephone duty. At night there was something wrong with the Internet connection. The provider had a problem. Whenever this kind of Internet trouble happens, I get irritated and my wife gets mad at me. She is the troubleshooter and often I am the troublemaker.

　Been to the English discussion group. Today the two big discussers were absent, so we talked mostly about English itself. I am under the impression that we need to become a different personality when we speak English. The temperature dropped sharply today. The highest is under 10 degrees Celsius.

Friday, DEcember 5, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　Did a morning slow jog alone. At work I was on library duty. The day after tomorrow our school festival is held. On the way home returned two library books through the book drop.

Thursday, December 4, 2014 Rainy and then cloudy.

　Went to work, wearing gloves today. As usual, two meetings to attend. Bought hokaben on the way home. Was not able to go jogging this morning because of rain.

Wednesday, December 3, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　Went slow-jogging in the park in the morning alone. Morning jogs are more refreshing. I will jog alone in the morning, and with my spouse at night. She is a night person. Did some cleaning. Our sons are coming home late this month.

Tuesday, December 2, 2014 Mostly cloudy.

　Off to the sign language circle in the morning. Went to get the two sweaters which I ordered. I rode my bike against the wind. Neck traction in the evening and a slow jog with my wife at night.

Monday, December 1, 2014 Mostly cloudy and rainy late at night.

　On my way to work, I usually run when I change trains because there is only a little time for the next train, but today I was out of breath, which seldom happens. Maybe I was out of condition. Even at work I felt so tired. For one thing I have a sore throat. I have a slight cold. At any rate, I am not young. Better act my age.
