□My 3-sentence Diary
ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last thing I want to doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong, sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
　3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

　This morning I slow-jogged in the shade as much as possible, Finished reading a library book. On the way home again bought the department curry sauce. Cleared Candy Crush level 22.

Wednesday, Jluly 30, 2014 Fair, occasionally cloudy.

　Went to work early in the morning because there was a medical checkup for us. I had my chest x-rayed and handed in my urine sample. There was a summer extra class in the afternoon. I was in charge today.

Tuesday, July 29, 2014 Fair

　The summer heat is back. The past couple of days have been comfortable. In the morning off to the sign language club. I signed in front of everybody, but did not know how to sign "活躍する". There is not such a word in sign language. You just show it by a gesture. That was the anwer.

Monday, July 28, 2014 Fair

　Jogging on the hard asphalt road is not good for my knees. Maybe I should go back to the park, but it is crowded with baseball lovers even early in the morning these days. Today at work sent the interim results to the homeroom students.

Sunday, July 27, 2014 Fair, occaionally cloudy and sprinkling.

　Finished reading the library book. Checked out two books. One is an English paperback. Cleared Candy Crush leve 305, which was the hardest so far, on my wife's advice. It is less hot and humid than yesterday. Thank heavens for that. I can survive.

Saturday, July 26, 2014 Fair

　The weather has been too hot and humid. Felt like doing nothing in this kind of weather. It is hard even to breathe, not to mention to sleep. Reading a Tsurumi Shunsuke book. Quite a personality.

Friday, July 25, 2014 Fair

　So hot and humid today. The temperature in the English Interview Room was almost 36 degrees Celsius. So, I took shelter in the air-conditioned staff room. Worked as planned. Gave a couple of students a makeup. Prepared for next Wednesday' extra English class. Worked very diligently.

　It has been such a muggy day today. I have been constantly sweaty. Making a stopover on my way home, did a little shopping. Again bought some so-called department basement food.

Wednesday, July 23, 2014 Fair, occaionally cloudy.

　Today being a day off, I was in no mood for work. Took it easy all day, but the cats never left me alone. I have made up my mind to help around the kitchen-just a sign of thanks to my wife.

Tuesday, July 22, 2014 Cloudy

　Again the tap water noise is a bit of a nuisance these days. I woke up early this morning to the high-pitched noise. My sense of hearing may be a bit oversensitive, but the noise does exist. Well, I will just wait and see before I tell the janitor that. This morning went to the sign language club and saw a part of a video to study sign language. It was OK.

　Our second son went to see his fiancee's parents to get their permission to marry her. I was a bit concerned about his physical condition. He has a bit of a cold running a little fever. I hope he and his fiancee are joined by the red string of fate.

Sunday, July 20, 2014 Cloudy, occaisonally rainy and thundering.

　This morning jogged slowly along the road. At work some students came for their makeups. When I was about to hit the road, it began raining and thundering. I am a chicken as far as thunder is concerned, so I waited until it stopped thundering.

Saturday, July 19, 2014 Fair

　In the morning went to the English conversation school. In the afternoon our second son brought his fiancee. Tomorrow ia a workday, but had to work on the Super Crossword. Finished at midnight.

Friday, July 18, 2014 Fair and muggy.

　Got up early for today's slow jog, so at the end of the day felt so very sleepy on my way home. My wife did a lot of cleaning today because our second son is bringing his fiancee here. Normally our house is a comfortablemess.

Thursday, July 17, 2014 Fair

　Did my slow jogging rather late in the morning. Ran only for 30 minutes or so in order to avoid having a heat stroke. It was already so hot. At work handed in my summer schedule. On my way home bought department curry for supper.

Wednesday, July 16, 2014 Fair, occasionally rainy.

　Went to the faraway clinic up north. Busy reading library books and listening to iPod. So much to read and listen to that translating "The Morning Letter" must wait. Last nigt our first-born son came back home late at night. He came to the Kansai area on business. 　

Tuesday, July 15, 2014 Fair

　Had a sudden visit from our first-born son, who came to Kansai on business. He is staying overnight. Finished reading a book and returned it to the library.

Monday, July 14, 2014 Cloudy, occasioally rainy.

　Yesterday went to a Korean restaurant with my Korean language study friends and had a fun dinner. Early this morning it rained so hard I woke up. It was so humid, too. Finished marking all the exam papers and sent my students the results.

Saturday, July 2012, 2014 Fair

　This morning started my slow jog around 7:00 a.m. It was already so hot. I felt dizzy along the way, so I made it even slower. Last night our second son came back all of a sudden. He came to Osaka on business. In a week he will be bringing his fiancee here.

Friday, July 11, 2014 Fair but muggy.

　Yesterday it was first rainy and then cloudy. On the way home bought department bento for supper. Today Typhoon No. 8 was gone without hittint this area. So very busy at work with the sick English teacher absent for a while.

Wednesday, July 9, 2014 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　A day off. Relaxed at home, reading, playing online games, etc. The other downloaded the old PC role-playing game called "The Amber-Colored Will"(琥珀色の遺言). This game was first created in the 1980s, and all my family played it together.

Tuesday, July 8, 2014 Cloudy

　It took me well over one hour to check the reports, for I did my sick fellow teacher's ones, too. Around 8:00 p.m. there was nobody else on the fifth floor. One of the four stray cats died in the backyard. Poor cat! What a world! My wife said, "Sorry I couldn't save you." Our two cats were abondoned cats, too.

　Because one of the English teachers was absent, two of the other teachers and I worked together, printiing the exam papers, putting them in the cabinet, and putting the 2nd-term Communication English reports on the shelf. I checked his reports today, too.

Sunday, July 6, 2014 Cloudy and then rainy.

　It has been already one year since last summer's STEP interview test. I had 47 examinees in all this time. Arrived at the site around 8:25 a.m. I took the 7:30 a.m. train at the nearest station. The whole test ended around 3:45 p.m. There were only two familiar faces there.

　Been to the English discussion group. I was not very talkative today. This has been such a tiring week.-unmotivated students, a sick colleague, etc. Tomorrow I have a STEP interview test.

Friday, July 4, 2014 Cloudy

　One of the fellow English teachers being absent, besides taking care of two classes, I had to check nearly as many as 40 reports. So exhausted at the end of the day.

Thursday, July 3, 2014 Rainy

　No jogging in the morning because of rain. At work attended two meetings as usual after checking some reports. On the way home bought something to eat for supper so that my wife could take it easy this evening. What a nice husband I am! She never says so, though.

Wednesday, July 2, 2014 Fair and then cloudy.

　This country has taken a course toward militarization again. The prime minister's facial expression seems to have changed. Even the air around me has begun to feel different. Yesterday must be a transition in Japanese history. How many of us realize its meaning, I wonder. Come to think of it, decision-making at school, too, has become unilateral.

　The current Japanese cabinet has decided to change the past interpetations of the Constitution of Japan. Maybe next they will make new laws so that the Self-Defense Forces can fight overseas or even invade into another country. History is repeating itself. Adopting the draft system will be a matter of time.
