ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Listened to my iPod a lot. So many downloads to listen to. I need to
finish reading a library book, too. It has been quite a hot day.

Taught two classes tonight. Had the class practice speaking altogether.
I thought they would not respond, but actually they did. I was glad. Came
back home around 10:30 p.m.

There was a joint teachers' meeting-the school finacial report and budget.
On the way home dropped by the departmetn to buy obento for supper.
Wednesday, May 28, 2014 Fair
Today being a day off for me, relaxed at home almost all day, going jogging
in the morning, reading a book, playing some online game, etc.
Tuesday, May 27, 2014 Fair
Went to the sign language "circle" in the morning. On the way
home dropped by the supermarket and did some shopping.
Monday, May 26, 2014 Cloudy and then rainy.
At work in the third period was the so-called Human Rights Homeroom.
I talked to my homeroom students about Korea Town in the vicinity of our
school. Came back home around 10:30 p.m. in the drizzling rain. Also had
an interview with the boss and was on library duty, too. Going to resume
our Korean language study soon in June.
Sunday, May 25, 2014 Sunny and hot.
Been on a school outing to Nara. A few of the classroom kids came. They
were on their own. I walked with one of my colleagues as far as Daibutsuden.
I ate my bento around there before entering the premises. The great image
of Buddha was great, needless to say. Then I walked past the Kasugataisha
Shrine, walking around a lot by myself. Bought narazuke as a souvenir.

My wife bought me a new tablet today. I hope I can use it. She likes
gadgets. Today I was in no mood to do anything. Just finished reading a
book.
Friday, May 23, 2014 Fair
It has been a full day. Prepared two handouts and taught one class. Sent
some students some mail. On patrol duty late at night before leaving for
home. We have our school outing the day after tomorrow.
Thursday, May 22, 2014 Fair but windy.
There were two meetings at work. One was for us to double-check the graduating
students' grades, and the other was of a human rights kind.
Wednesday, May 21, 2014 Rainy and then clear.
It was raining this morning, so could not go jogging. This afternoon
my wife and I rode our bikes a lot going shopping for cat food, clothing,
and so on. On the way home ate udon for supper.
Tuesday, May 20, 2014 Cloudy and then rainy.
Did not go out on an outing with the sign language friends. I had something
else to do. Fell asleep on the reclining masager and now have a bit of
a sore throat. I have a weak throat. Listened to my iPod a lot. Tomorrow
is a day off, too. Planning to go out shopping with my wife by bike.

Teaching my students the conjugation of some irregular verbs little by
little. I do not give up teaching them English although some say, "This
is a correspondence high school. It is impossible to teach them thoroughly."
I do not believe in that kind of defeatism. Even if I just toil and moil,
I will keep challenging myself.
Sunday, May 18, 2014 Fair
There was a typo in my answers to the Super Crossword. I resent my answers
this evening. Early in the morning went slow-jogging along the road, ate
breakfast, took a shower, and left for work. At work taught Communication
English 1 Ⅰin the fifth period. Thinking that was it, I was resting in
my room. Then I happened to hear my fellow English teacher explaining something
in the classroom. That was Inclusive Hour, which I was supposed to take
care of, too. I thought it would be taken care of by Career Guidance people
like last year, but it was not. I hurried to the classroom and explained
to my students, who were waiting for me there. I barely made it. Also while
on library duty, the program used there did not work, and I was at a loss,
so I asked a fellow teacher who happened to be there. On the way home dropped
by Joshin and bought some printer ink and dry cells. Bought a pair of reading
glasses in the neighborhood shoppring mall.

Been to the usual English conversation school. There were eight of us,
including our instructor. Took an afternoon. A bit overslept but made it
to the dentist on time. Tomorrow I am going to work.
Friday, May 16, 2014 Fair
Teaching two classes in a row, got really exhausted. My age is begining
to tell. However, it is fun to teach my students English. I can be myself
while teaching.
Thursday, May 15, 2014 Cloudy. occasionally rainy.
Two meeting to attend at work. Did the printing for tomorrow's two classes
because I will be on library duty for over an hour right before teaching
my students. I keep asking my second son for help with Candy Crush Saga,
but no reply. He must be busy. I will wait for a few more days anyway.

Went to the faraway clinic up noth in Osaka. Today only had my left shouder
and arm massaged. Next time seeing the doctor as well. It is a long way
away from home, so when I quit my job, I cannot go there.
Tuesday, May 13, 2014 Fair
First thing in the morning went jogging in the park. Then off to the
sign language club. Decided not to go on an outing this time. Went to the
hospital for neck traction in the evening. The place was not full.
Monday, May 12, 2014 Cloudy and rainy.
Thought it would rain heavily where I live, but actually it did not.
I should have stayed longer at work. The weather forecast proved wrong
anyway.
Sunday, May 11, 2014 Fair
Had a full day at work. I had four classes in all today. I have fun teaching
English, so it is no trouble at all for me. But at the end of the day I
was tired.
Saturday, May 10, 2014 Fair
Finished reading "Atomic Box." There was a secret project to
build an atomic bomb in Japan in the 70s, and that technology was stolen
by North Korea. It is fiction, but I am not sure. Tomorrow is a workday.
Have to get up early and go to work.
Friday, May 9, 2014 Fair
It has been a long day. On library duty for an hour. Took care of the
third period, Homeroom. Not too hectic but intensively busy for a while.
My system is still with the daytime section. It will take some time to
get used to the nighttime section again.
Thursday, May 8, 2014 Fair
I was the clerk at today's staff meeting. Left for home at 4:30 p.m.
On the way home bought beer and cat food. Today my neck hurts. The weather
might be getting worse.
Wednesday, May 7, 2014 Fair
I played some online games a lot during the consecutive holidays, such
as Candy Crush and Scrabble. Back to work tomorrow and I am going to be
busy with my work.
Tuesday, May 6, 2014 Fair
Our second son went back to Tokyo. While here, he met his girlfriend's
parents and did a lot of work here on his laptop. As is often the case
with him, he is "gone with the wind." The "Golden Week"
is almost over. I intened to have finished reading the novel. I have gained
weight.
Monday, May 5, 2014 Cloudy
First thing in the morning went out slow jogging. Relaxed for the rest
of the day, playing the games, taking care of the cats, talking with my
son and my better half. Reading a novel entitled "Atomic Box."
Sunday, May 4, 2014 Cloudy and then fair.
Visited Mom in advance for Mother's Day. Ate lunch together with Mom
and my sister. My sister gave me a ride to and from the nearest station.
Talked to my younger btorher's grandson there. Had some fun. Back home
around 4:00 pm.
Saturday, May 3, 2014 Fair
Just relaxed at home almost all day except when I went slow jogging in
the morning. It was breezy but a bit chilly toward the evening.
Friday, May 2, 2014 Fair
Went to work. Covered the gas heater with a plastic bag and uncovered
the electric fan for summer weather at work. Prepared two kinds of handouts
for my very first English classes on May 11 this school year.
Thursday, May 1, 2014 Fair and then cloudy.
A workday. Thought about report hints and typed them up on the computer.
Played Candy Crush a lot. I am in holiday mode, so I do not feel like working
hard.
