□My 3-sentence Diary
ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last thing I want to doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong, sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
　3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Saturday, February 28, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　A graduation ceremony is held tomorrow and I will have to attend it and sing the national anthem, which goes "May your reign continue for a thousand, eight thousand generations until the pebbles grow into boulders lush with moss." If you do not sing it, you will be punished. What a day!

　Jogged in the morning. At work just one student to help with her sign-up. Handed in all the papers. The temperature dropped sharply all of a sudden.

Thursday, February 26, 2015 Rainy, occasionally cloudy.

　At work instead of attending a staff meeting, I was on telephone duty down in the office for three hours. My wfe and I did a super slow jog at night.

Wednesday, February 25, 2015 Cloudy

　Been to the clinic up north in Osaka as usual. On the way home got a haircut and bought something for lucnh. In the afternoon went to the dentist.

Tuesday, February 24, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　Finished filling in the school records and handed in the sign-up related papers. Took two hours off and went for a drink with a colleague on the way home. In the morning paid the tuition for Osaka OPLL Society and checked out a few books at the library.

Mondday, February 23, 2015 Cloudy

　Took me a whole day at work to go through the red tape for a homeroom student who wants to transfer to another school. This student has just sent me the documents and return envelope without any message for me. I called but did not anwswer. Maybe busy, but unthinkable. Is this the way nowadays among young people? I do not understand.

Sunday, February 22, 2015 Cloudy. occasionally rainy.

　Getting up early in the morning, headed for the STEP site. Working all day, interviewd 54 examinees. Unless I regard this as volunteer work, it might be said to be a rip-off. Starting around 9:00 am., I was fisnished after 4:00 p.m.

Saturday, February 21, 2015 Sunny, occasionally cloudy.

　Been to the English discussion group. Tomorrow I am going to be a STEP interview test examiner. It ig going to be a long day.

　Jogged in the morning after going to the hospital for neck traction as usual. At work the so-called 'graduation judgment conference' was held. It did not talke too long. The fifth floor was almost deserted by the time I hit the road.

　Two meetings as usual. The boss said I would be qualified as a reemployed teacher, but I might not feel up to it. The English department or section of this school is 'dying'. The nighttime students do not like English. I cannot blame them. Most of them are OK students, but they are not interested in English.

Wednesday, February 18, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally sunny.

　I have decided to join the Osaka OPLL Society because I need info on my illness. This illness is not fatal but keeps developing. That is why. I sometimes take the painreliever when the pain is more than I can stand.

　Been to the tax office, where I filed a final income tax return. Leaving home aroung 11:30 a.m., I was finished aroung 2:30 p.m. The place was full and I had long waits. On the way home paid my extra income tax at the post office. I did not earn that much, though. My income is just a peanut.

　In winter I am usually out of shape, and it is winter now. At work helped a couple of students with their sign-up. Just one more on the 27 th, and that is it.

　At work helped two homeroom students with their sign-up. One did not show up. This was his third time not to keep his promise. This is such a school. Teachers must be patient.

　I drank too much last night. My ingrown toenail began to hurt again. Too bad. Jogged at night today. Tomorrow is a workday.

　The student who promised to come did not show up. I called him up and made a new appointment. It was so freezing tonight when I was on my way home.

　At work checked the grades of graduating students. More than ten teachers did it, so it did not take long. I was the first to finish it. Went to the bank on my way home with my wife and then bought something for supper before going home.

　Today being a national holiday, just took it easy at home all day. The Co-op man came with the goods. Helped to put them away. Took a nap with my cat. Jogged at night in the cold.

Tuesday, February 10, 2015 Mostly cloudy.

　It has been a rather busy day at work. I did not expect so many students to show up almost at the same time. I was exhausted at the end of the day.

　Just one student to help with her sign-up. She showed up suddenly ahead of the appointed time. Another gave me a ring to change his appointment.

　On Friday our second came back home from Tokyo all of a sudden last night and went back this morning. He is making preparations for his wedding here in Osaka.

　There was a phone call from STEP. I am going to be working as a STEP interviewer again. Well, I will when I am available.

　At work something very important slipped my mind, which fact was quite a shock to me. However, come to think of it, that something might not be too important any longer sooner or later. My subconscious is smarter than I.

　Two meetings to attend at work as usual. A phone call from the bank on insurance. Every day there is news about ISIS. Japan, which has rightist leanings now, will lean to the right more at this rate.

Wednesday, February 4, 2015 Sunny, occaionally cloudy.

　Worked on the Super Crossword far into the night last night, which wrecked my circadian clock this morning somewhat. Anyway I managed to do almost as planned.

　Went to the sign language circle's weekly get-together. On the way home bought something for lunch as usual. With nothing to do in particular, relaxed for the rest of the day.

　The deadline for the thrid term was tonight. Only a few came at the last minute. Therefore I was not too busy, but I filled out the school records. I am not finished yet. This was tiring.

　Two students came for their sign-up procedure. Also gave three students a makeup. A couple more students came to see me for something, too. Well, it was a rather busy day.
