ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Been to another clinic. I kept procastinating a certain checkup. I have
found a good clinic. Went to the mobile phoe shop with my wife. Went shopping
with her for the first time in many days. She has to take care of her mother
all the time.
Monday, June 29, 2015 Fair
I had a problem with my LINE, so I uninstalled it. Somebody hacked my
account. What a weird world! I would rather have a conventional phone if
this keeps happening.
Sunday, June 28, 2015 Cloudy
Taught in the fiirst period. Only a small attendance and participation
was so-so. As is often the case wtih ひとり学習, some students do something
else without doing what they are supposed to do. Well, it takes patience
on my side and it takes time on their side. Waiting is sometimes part of
the teaching.
Saturday, June 27, 2015 Cloudy. occasionally rainy.
At home all day except when I went jogging early this morning. Last night
my cat slept with me on my futon, so I could not turn over. I woke up a
little tired. Tomorrow is a workday.
Friday, June 26, 2015 Rainy
Yesterday there was a joint staff meeting at work. The clerk in charge
explained the budget. Today I taught just one class. Due to bad weather,
there were only a few students, and they were not outgoing, so I decided
to change the way I taught.
Wednesday, June 24, 2015 Cloudy
Went to two doctors and one dentist. On holidays I usually go see the
doctors-routine visits. My wife, an ex-nurse, once said that those who
can go to the hospital are not very sick. If you are really sick, you cannot
go to the hospital on foot.

One of the rooms needs to be cleaned at home now that the aerobike is
gone, but it will take a lot of time and energy. I hope my wife will be
cooperative. Well, I will do it whenever I can. It is paradoxical, but
if you want to teach English, don't teach it straight to students but have
them study or learn it on their own.

Just one class to teach at night. Some students asked me questions during
ひとり勉強 time. Their oral reading was OK. This year so far so good. Last
year was a hell of a year, though. What is the difference? Maybe it all
depends on the kind of students you have.

At work visited a colleague's class, which is mandatory, and taught two
classes, one of which was visited by one of the bosses. This is also mandatory.
Nowadays there are so many things which are mandatory. Far less freedom
unlike in the past. My two sons sent me their respectvie Father's Day present.

Although I wanted to do my morning jog, the place was full of ballplayers.
Just went to the English discussion club, where I spent two hours or so.
Tomorrow is a workday.

No class to teach today at work. Just helped a student with his report.
Printed the first-term test in C English Ⅱ. Got ready for the two classes
I teach the day after tomorrow.
Thursday, June 18, 2015 Rainy, occasionally cloudy.
As usual, two meetings to attend. The same languid atmosphere prevails.
Lack of democracy like in the Diet. History is repeating itself.

The weather forecast says the weather is going to be worse tomorrow.
I will have to report for work tomorrow-just two meetings to attend, though.
My best friend in Kanagawa says online that he is making preparations for
his death-what is called 終活.
Tuesday, June 16, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
Today was a workday, but took a few hours off and came home. Bought something
to eat for supper on the way. While playing SCRABBLE, I hit the wrong key
when I was about to bingo. Luck is now with me. Too bad.
Monday, June 15, 2015 Fair
Yesterday and the day before yesterday did nothing in particular. Today
being a workday, taught two English classes at night.
Friday, June 12, 2015 Fair
Tonight I was the last to leave work on the fifth floor. Everybody else
left earlier than I, who is not a full-time worker. Well, it is a good
thing that they do not put work before everything.
Thursday, June 11, 2015 Cloudy and then rainy.
Jogged early in the morning. At work sent a letter to each of the homeroom
students, informing them of their report status. Bought some bread on the
way home.
Wednesday, June 10, 2015 Fair
Slow jogged in the park in the morning and then off to the usual massage,
which, I am not sure, will work. Yesterday my old friend accessed his Facebook
for the first time in many days. He says he is making preparations for
his time (the so-called shukatsu in Japanese). He and I were roommates
in the U.S. for 10 months or so. That was 40 years ago. I do not have much
in this world, either, though.

Could not jog in the morning because of rain. Instead jogged at night
with my spouse for the first time in many days.
Monday, June 8, 2015 Cloudy and then rainy.
Yesterday was a workday. Just taught Communication English Ⅱin the first
period and in the 5th and 6th period there was a joing Homeroom-volleyball
matches. On the way home felt so hungry I ate something at the station
where I changed trains while waiting. Today it was rainy, so I did not
expect many students to show up in class, but more students than I expected
came. With ひとり学習, I can relax in class, and so can the students. The
late Mr. Koga was a genius.
Saturday, June 6, 2015 Fari but a bit chilly.
Went to the English conversation school in the morning. Our first-born
son dropped by on his way back from his business trip, eating lunch with
me. He sent his exercise bike to Himeji, where his wife's parents live.
Friday, June 5, 2015 Cloudy and then rainy.
At work just one class to teach after having an interview with the boss,
who touched upon the moster parent and crazy kid a little. The rest was
just routine. Yesterday just two meetings to attend. That was it.
Wednesday, June 3, 2015 Rainy and then cloudy.
Got a weekly massage as usual at the usual clinic. Jogged in the afternoon
in the park.
Tuesday, June 2, 2015 Cloudy and then rainy.
It has been quite a while since I stopped translating "The Morning
Letter." I do not think I will ever resume it. Now my ultimate goal
is not to master a foreign language. Then what? I need to keep thinking
about it.

At work an ESS member came over and talked with me partially in English.
Just one class to teach in the third period. By and large worked in a relaxed
manner.
