ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Saturday, October 31, 2015 Fair
Been to the ear, nose, and throat doctor a bit far away for the last
time. On the way home, dropped in at the usual shoe store and ordered a
new pair of shoes. Then bought something to eat for lunch. Yesterday at
work on duty in the report room and invigilated one exam, marking the exam
papers later on. Went home unfinished.
Thursday, October 29, 2015 Fair
Decided to put off getting a haircut until next Sunday. Ate bread for
both lunch an supper. At work spent a lot of time shooting the breeze.
Wednesday, October 28, 2015 Fair
On off days usually go the round of my doctors. Tomorrow is a workday,
but maybe not much work to do. Thinking of doing some small things such
as having my hair cut and replacing the old battery of my pocket watch
with a new one.
Tuesday, October 27, 2015 Fair and then cloudy.
An off day. Stayed home almost all day except when I went jogging in
the park. I cleaned the floor, did the dishes, and took out the garbage
as usual. Also took in the laundry.
Monday, October 26, 2015 Fair
Yesterday and today I had not much to do at work. Just read a couple
of books and helped a few students with their English.
Saturday, October 24, 2015 Fari
Biked to two DIY stores with my wife to busy lots of things such as toilet
paper, flush toilet parts, a radio, cat toilet sand, lattices and batteries.
Coming back home, fixed the flush toilet tank.
Friday, October 23, 2015 Fair
At work finished making the first-term Introductory English report. Corrected
some reports and helped a student or two with this and that. The battery
of my smartphne was dead when I got to work. Too bad.

Thursday, October 22, 2015 Fair
Still rather hot during the day-around 25 degrees Celsius. Attended two
meetings and did some small jobs like putting exam papers in an envelope
for a student who is going to take her exmas in the school nurses' room
and making a 'report' for next school year.
Wednesday, October 21, 2015 Fair
After jogging and taking a shower, went to the clinic to get a massage
as usual. I drank wine last night before going to bed, I now have a stomachache.
I should refrain from drinking at night for a while.
Tuesday, October 20, 2015 Fair
It was another hot day. Maybe around 30 degrees Celsius. Not much work
to do today at work. A dull atmosphere prevailed.
Monday, October 19, 2015 Fair and so hot!
Just worked as planned. On my way home on the train were some young people
who seemed to lack common sense because they kept hitting other passengers
with their bags on their backs. One of them was a girl with an exremely
big bag. The train was rather crowded, but they just didn't care. Maybe
things have changed, or people have changed.
Sunday, October 18, 2015 Fair
Went to a meeting held by Osaka OPLL Society. A doctor gave us an information
talk about OPLL. So many people with this illness are in pain, and there
are so many intractable diseases. However, better to look on the bright
side of things. Can't be pessimistic because of the illness.
Saturday, October 17, 2015 Fair
Been to the usual English conversation school, where we talked about
various things. This morning I hogged the park and enjoyed my slow jog.
Tomorrow I am going out although it is a holiday.
Friday, October 16, 2015 Fair
As soon as I got back from work at night, I did the dishes. My wife seldom
does it. What a happy husband! It is my household chore. No matter how
tired I am, I do it.
Thursday, October 15, 2015 Fair
Worked as planned. Made another set of handouts after correcting some
reports. On the way home bought something to eat for supper Tomorrow is
the last day of the second term.
Wednesday, October 14, 2015 Fair
Yesterday was my 63rd birthday. I ate my birthday cake, which my wife
bought. Some messages came from my children, who live far away from here.
Tuesday, October 13, 2015 Fair
At work made two sets of ひとり学習 handouts, which took me around four
hous. During the break took a walk in the nearby park. Kept listening to
Rajirurajiru on my smartphone.
Monday, October 12, 2015 Cloudy
Returned the overdue library book at night although I had not finished
it. Rules are rules. Tomorrow is a workday. Have to report for work earlier
than usual because I may not be able to swipe as usual. They are installing
a new device.
Sunday, October 11, 2015 Cloudy
Jogged rather late in the morning. Returned one library book, finding
later that another was overdue. Well, I will give it back maybe tomorrow.

I am into NHK's "Bura Tamori." My wife is a big fan of "One
Piece." She loves manga. We are poles aprart in the way we pass time.
On second thought, one thing in common-playing online games.

Slow jogging in the park, which was weeded quite a lot. Felt comfortable
while running for the first time in many days. On getting to work, one
of the clerks said for me to get a trascript ready for a student who belonged
to my homeroom class. This took me over an hour, wrecking today's plan.
Thursday, October 8, 2015 Fair
Novelist Murakami Haruki failed to win a Nobe prize again. I wonder why
that is. I read quite a few works written by him. While reading them, I
was absorbed in them. However, they did not affecf the way I lived, it
seems. This lightness might be one of the reasons.

Bought a new pocket calendar I am using next year. This time not a hundred-yen
store one. I do not hear very many crickets chirping this fall.

Did lots of household chores today, such as cleaning, weeding, shopping,
doing the dishes, and taking out the garbage.
Monday, October 5, 2015 Fair
Yesterday I corrected 25 reports. Quite a lot. Also worked on the Super
Crossword. I made a typo, resending my answers. Today I had two classes
to take care of. Back from work, took out the plastic garbage and did the
dishes.
Saturday, October 3, 2015 Fair
Went slow-jogging along the road for the first time in so many days.
I did not do that so as not to damage my knees and also because my ingrown
toenail might get worse, but I am putting out weight at this rate. Even
when the park is full with ball players, I will go somewhere else.
Friday, October 2, 2015 Fair
Went slow jogging as usual. The place is so weedy now it is hard to run.
The shoes get wet easily. At work two classes to take care of. Not bad.
Last night the weather was so stormy. It felt like a typhoon.
Thursday, October 1, 2015 Cloudy and then rainy.
My wife still has a cold. Kind of feverish and tired. I help her out
with this and that. At work just made a couple of handouts and did a little
shopping on the way home. At night it began to rain hard. Windy, too.
