ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

WEdnesday, September 30, 2015 Fair
Back from my monthly visit to the dentist. My wife seems to have caught
cold. Still in bed. Helping her with this and that, which she takes for
granted.
Tuesday, September 29, 2015 Fair
My wife is under the weather. I went out to buy some sweets to have over
a cup of tea. With such a big day temperature difference we easiy catch
cold.
Monday, September 28, 2015 Fair
Just one class to teach at work. Corrected around 20 reports. Also made
some handouts for the third term.
Sunday, September 27, 2015 Fair
Today's weather was great for athletic meetings, but the athletic meeting
itself left much to be desired in terms of management. The students were
doing fine, though.
Saturday, September 26, 2015 Cloudy
Been to the library to check in one book and check out two. On theway
home bought something to eat for supper. My wife got sick this morning
while in the shower. Tomorrow is the school's sports day.
Friday, September 25, 2015 Cloudy
All the handouts for the second term are ready now. Phew! Two classes
to teach in a row. During the break before supper went walking in the park
near the school.
Thursday, September 24, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
A workday for the first time in a week. Two meetings to attend and some
other lttle things to do. At home, fogetting that we had no water supply
during the day because they were checking the pumps, we had to get some
water in the park. Good exercise.
Wednesday, September 23, 2015 Fair
The consecutive holidays called 'Silver Week' is over. Tonight went slow
jogging at night with my wife for the first time in a month or so. We have
gained weight. Need to get more exercise!!!
Tuesday, September 22, 2015 Fair
Our second son has gone back to Tokyo. He is going to live together with
his wife. Matorimony is not a word. It is a sentence. This is what Amereicans
say half jokingly. I hope they have enough wisdom all along their life's
journey.
Monday, September 21, 2015 Fair
Just relaxed at home, doing nothing in particular. Went to buy some cat
food, though, at night. No jogging at night. I was in no mood for that.
Maybe tomorrow will take a walk or something.
Sunday, September 20, 2015 Fair
Worked overtime, but it was worth it. A student came and asked me to
help her with her reports. Her attitude towards English was not bad. Took
care of two classes at work and did some printing.
Saturday, September 19, 2015 Fair
Our second son's wedding was held today. I got to the place quite early,
leaving home at 7:09 a.m. His former teacher was in charge of the cremony.
The whole event ended around 3:00 p.m. Right before the end, I was asked
to say something. So I did. My wife seemed quite tired at the end of the
day.
Friday, September 18, 2015 Cloudy
Went slow joggging in the park this morning. The ground was wet. Without
my iPod listening to autumn insects chirping all around. Tomorrow have
to get up early for the wedding.
Thursday, September 17, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
We are having a rather long rainy spell this month. I do not like it
because I cannot go jogging in the park. We are having our second son's
wedding in two days. Tomorrow I will practice my speech.
Wednesday, September 16, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
Japan is in turmoil- the security bill about to be passed, Joso City
inundated after the Kinu River collapsed, volcanoes erupting here and there,
and so on. Schools are no longer based on democracy. There the whole system
is all top-down. Things have changed.
Tuesday, September 15, 2015 Cloudy
Last night came back from work exhausted, took out the plastic garbage,
did the dishes and son. Today visited three places-the ear, nose and throat
clinic, the shoe store, and the custumer.

At work taught two classes. The students' participation was OK. The late
Mr. Koga's ひとり学習 is really great and revolutionary, but how many of
us really appreciate it, I wonder?

We had a visitor. He is a friend of our second son's. I stayed at home
all day today, doing nothing in particular. Tomorrow is a workday.

Today was the deadline for the first term. I was not too busy, but daytime
students came one after another and the daytime English teacher was terribly
busy.
Thursday, September 10, 2015 Cloudy
Just two meetings to attend at work today. Also corrected some reports
and marked an exam papter. On the way back, bought something to eat for
supper.
Wednesday, September 9, 2015 Rainy
The typoon did not hit my town. I am trying to finish my speech for the
wedding, but it is hard. In ten days it is going to be held. Got to hurry.
Tuesday, Septmeber 8, 2015 Rainy
Typhoon No.18 is approaching and the weather has been wet all day. I
was in no mood to do anything today. Just rested.
Monday, September 7, 2015 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
Although the ground was a bit wet, I went slow jogging anyway in the
morning. At work worked as planned. Not many students show up in this kind
of weather. After all, to them, school is just a small part of their lives.
It is not much.

Yesterday our second son suddenly came back home from Tokyo to make the
final preparations for his wedding. Now he is gone back to Tokyo. Today
at work the attendance was small probably due to the wet weather.
Saturday, September 5, 2015 Fair
Yesterday at work I taught Basic English in the third period. The atmosphere
was not bad. Most of the students concentrared on their assignments. Today
went to the English conversation school for the first time in two months.
Finished the Super Crossword for this month later. Tomorrow is a workday.
Thursday, September 3, 2015 Rainy, occasionally cloudy.
There was an extra staff meeting about pernonnel affairs. On the way
home, went shopping, stopping over at two different statioons.
Wednesday, September 2, 2015 Cloudy
Tried to finish reading a book in vain. Skimmed through the latter half
anyway. The wedding speech is ready. My wife changed the wording in some
places. I agreed.

An off-day and stayed in bed longer than usual. Eventually, did not go
slow-jogging. This month we are having our second son's wedding.
