ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Saturday, April 30, 2016 Fair
Yesterday our first son's family came and stayed overnight. My wife went
all out to clean the whole place while I was not so helpful because of
my pain in the left shoulder. Our granddaughter was so energetic. My wife
was so exhausted. Today we were taken to two show rooms for kitchens, bathrooms,
and toilets. We need to do over part of our place soon.
Thursday, April 28, 2016 Rainy
Yesterday went to the hospital for neck traction and also saw the younger
doctor. Today at work the boss announced one of the English teachers quitted
for personal reasons, which is not necessarily accurate information. He
left not only for his personal reasons but also for some other reasons.
Tuesday, April 26, 2016 Fair
Went to get a massage at the usual clinic. The massager said the back
mascles are too hard. I know that, but what can I do?
Monday, April 25. 2016 fair
At work finished making the second-term report for 2016. The conditon
of my English, however, was no good. I keep forgetting vocabualry. On coming
back home, did the dishes. The bigger cat was being so pesky.
Sunday, April 24, 2016 Fair
At work got my rollbook ready in the morning. In the afternoon made a
bit of the next report. On the way home went shopping at Tennoji.
Saturday, April 23, 2016 Cloudy and then rainy.
Did a slow jog in the park around 900 a.m., took a shower, and went to
the hospital for neck traction. On the way home did some shopping at the
usual supermarkets. Did some household chores at home, too. Tomorrow is
a workday. Have to report to work early.
Friday, April 22, 2016 Fair
The one who has been absent for long is going to quit. I understand his
complaints about the workload. It is really unreasonable at work. Everything
is one-way traffic at work. Top-down politics.
Thursday, April 21, 2016 Cloudy and then rainy.
The Kumamoto Earthquake continues. Aftershocks are happening one after
another. At work I worked only a little.
Wednesday, April 20, 2016 Fair
An off day. Went to get the usual massage at the usual place. In the
afternoon went to the usual dentist. I still feel the lingering dacadance
of the novel I read yesterday. Rather shocking.
Tuesday, April 19, 2016 Fair
Finished reading a novel entitled Call Me If You Feel like Killing Yourself. The author is a third-generation Korean-Japanese. The story takes place
where I mostly spent my college days-Osaka and Hyogo.
Monday, April 18, 2016 Rainy and then cloudy.
At work on duty at the receptiion desk for two hours. Then made a page
of the second-term report for C English Ⅱ. One of the English teachers
has been absent for four consecutive days.
Sunday, April 17, 2016 Cloudy
Off to work early in the morning. Again the JR trains were delayed. At
work I made some mistakes while helping some students sign up for their
subjects. It is sometimes so complicated that it is easy to make mistakes.
I discovered the mistakes later.
Saturday, April 16, 2016 Cloudy
There was even a bigger earthquake in Kumamoto after midnight. I was
asleep, but my wife was watching TV. Kumamoto, Ohita, and Miyazaki are
now having one aftershock and another. The Kumamoto Castle is damaged badly,
too. The death toll has risen to 34.

The entrance ceremony for new daytime students. Reported for work early.
The commute was so terrible. The stations were so crowded I cut in line
before I knew it. Shame on me! I barely made it to work. The morning was
hectic, and the afternoon was lazy. On the way home, went for a drink with
a colleague after browsing at a bookstore.

On the way home bought some bread. I was with two colleagues. When we
changed trains at the usual station, we ran to get a train. I ran so hard
with the bread bag in hand and the knapsack on my back I got out of breath.
Then we found it was not an express but a local train. We got on the wrong
train.There was a big earthquake in Kumamoto Prefecture tonight.

Finished reading a book entitled "The Power of Eveil" and written
by Kang Sang-jung. EVeryone feels empty to a certain extent, but if anyone
feels so empty inside and also disconnected from the rest of the world.
Evil is likely to fill that void, and the present-day capitalism is a hotbed
of evil.

A workday. A long day. Came back home late tired. Did the dishes and
took out the garbage. My wife sent me an email, saying that she has a headache.
She knows I do not go to bed with dirty dishes in the sink.
Monday, April 11, 2016 Fair
Today's staff meeting began 1:00 p.m., which means I was not able to
attend it fortunately. These meetings are usually top-down these days-not
worth atttending. Today's one was no exception.

My wife's mother eats less these days. She is 93. This time she was not
able to go out to see a play. She is too weak now. I did the dishes as
usual. My wife showed her aunt to the theater.

Today did some cleaning at home. A man came to inspect the gas fittings
such as the stove and the water heater. We did not expect him, so the rooms
were messy.
Friday, April 8, 2016 Fair
I wore a paper mask. Pollen is too much for me this year. At work on
duty for a while. Two students came to me for their diploma. Put the school
records in order.
Thursday, April 7, 2016 So windy and rainy.
Due to top-down politics in Japan, they impose everything in a top-down
fashin even at work. This country is tilting toward the right, and this
never seems to stop.
Wednesday, April 6, 2016 Fair
Went to see the family doctor as usual. I meet him every month. The place
was full. This morning I slow-jogged in the park. There were some mothers
with their children playing. It was not the kids but the mothers who were
having fun playing together.

My left shoulder joint hurts a lot today. I moved it too much maybe.
At night my legs still feel cold in the living room. The two cats are still
on my wife's futon.

At work a homeroom student came to see me, saying that there was an important
paper missing from the envelope she had received. I reissued it. She and
I went down to the office together. One of the clerks I talked to sounded
rather blunt.

Reported for work early in the morning. A homeroom student came to see
me with some papers-a notification of change of address and a paper for
changing sections from nighttime to daytime. Wen to the library on the
way home.

Slow-jogged in the park this morning and then went to the hospital for
neck traction and also got some compresses. Finished reading a book entitled
『数学する身体』.
Friday, April 1, 2016 Rainy
The new school year has started, but my homeroom class consists of too
many students although I am not a full time teacher. I talked to the boss,
whose explanation fell short. I was not fooled but felt like I was cheated
on this April Fools' Day.
