ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Our second son, his wife and her grandparents were good enough to send
us aa boxful of mikan from Hehime Prefecture. They are organic and so good.
I ate one after another actually.

Morning jog in the park and quite free or rather bored for the rest of
the day. Not much to do. There are not very many fun TV programs at the
end of the year.

Jogged very slowly in the park as usual in the morning. Also took our
granddaughter out for a walk there later. They left for their next destination,
our first-born son's wife's home, before noon. For lunc I ate the leftover
curry from yesterday's supper. Curry is my favorite. For supper ate takeout
katsudon.

Went to the hospital for neck traction in the morning and late in the
afternoon to the dentist. Toward the evening our first-born son's family
came over from Chiba. Our granddaughter is a rascal chasing the two cats.
They are staying overnight. My wife has a lower backache.
Tuesday, December 27, 2016 Mostly rainy.
Today has been a cold, dreary day. No jogging in the park this morning
because of the rain. At work spent just a few hous doing this and that
and was on the way home. Bought oden for supper.

Keeping a diary online this way, you know that I am still alive, but
everything has its end. It will not be long before I stop writing in this
online diary.

My wife is doing her share of the year-end cleaning today. I did a little
cleaning here and there. Not much of TV watching today. No interesting
programs in particular.

At a loss how to dispose of an old 'casette' gas can. It may cost us
a lot of money later. That is not mine, but I am supposed to clean up someone
else's mess often. Mailed some New Year's cards anyway although I want
to do away with empty formalities.

Resumed working in the backyard and ended up with 11 plastic bags of
cut trees and leaves. I was exhausted. Have to take out this trash little
by little over the following week.
Thursday, December 22, 2016 Cloudy and then rainy.
Did my usual slow jog in the park in the morning. At work w all got together
in a big classroom and discussed this and that for over an hour. On the
way home bought something for supper.
Wednesday, December 21, 2016 Fair
Today took care of our overgrown backyard. I will still need to dispose
of the cut trees. I worked in the backyard almost all day.
Tuesday, December 20, 2016 Cloudy
No work today. This morning was okay, but this afternoon was rather cold
and gloomy. My wife has started her year-end cleanup.
Monday, December 19, 2016 Sunny and then cloudy.
The last day of the third term. Quite busy. No matter how hard you try
to teach students, there are some who do not have a good opinion of English
or the way you teach. Most of such students just criticize you, shutting
their eyes to the fact that they do not try hard enoung on their side.

Taking the first one hour off, I reported for work., so I had to work
in a more limited amount of time than usual. I was quite busy with three
periods to take care of and dozens of reports to correct.
On the way home, did some shopping for the cats and the family.

If education is a far-sighted policy which will take a hundred years,
it is all over with this prefecture. I mean public education. I would rather
not work at a public high school at the moment. It is far from fun because
English seems to torment most students.

Did two slow jogs in the morning and toward the evening. Taking two hours
off, I was on the way home. Back home I played an online game over a glass
of sake. It is TGIF, you know.

Today on the way home, made a stopover and did some shopping. Also bought
a couple of bento for supper so that my spouse would not have to take the
trouble to fix supper. At work printed the third-term exam in C English
Ⅱ. Did some reading and returned three library books, too.
Wednesday, December 14, 2016 Cloudy
Off to the usual clinic quite early in the morning and they took a blood
sample from me. Then to the hospital for neck traction. No slow jog this
morning. Tomorrow is a workday.
Tuesday, December 13, 2016 Rainy
A workday. A cold rain is falling at night. Taking two hours off, I came
back in all this gloomy rain. I cannot eat anything after nine tonight
because I am having a blood test at the usual clinic tomorrow.
Monday, December 12, 2016 Cloudy and then a bit rainy.
Took an hour off and was on my way back home. Having to take care of
a sleazy student gives me a headache. Such a student seems to think that
he or she is the center of the universe. Nowadays the number of such students
is seemingly on the increase.

Did my usual jog around 9:00 a.m. as usual. Did some cleaning. It got
rather chilly at night. Cleaning is much hassle. Cleaning is clearing.
I need to get rid of as much stuff as possible.

Jogged in the morning and then off to the hospital for neck traction.
For the rest of the day, viewed video recordings. Also took apart the old
metal rack for disposal.

Your hard work does not necessarily pay off at work. There may be arrogant
teachers but there are as many arrogant students and parents. What a cold
and inhuman world this is! I work for a few really good-natured students.
That's it.

As usual two stupid meetings, and the worst kind of student's reports
to correct. Why worst? Because some students are not fair. We teachers
are not "sabdbags" to hit, you know. However, to the bosses,
students are always right. These days there is no education anywhere. Just
claimers and flatterers.

Just jogged slowly in the park late in the morning and took it easy for
the rest of the day, reading, watching TV, going to the hospital for neck
traction, taking care of the cats, etc.

Went out to have lunch together with some friends of mine. Had fun eating
and talking. Worked on the Super Crossword.
Monday, December 5, 2016 Fair
Just one class to take care of. I hate those who lie, and I came across
one of those liars. I will work on the Super Crossword little by little,
enjoying it. In no hurry.
Sunday, December 4, 2016 Coudy and then rainy.
Our school festival was held. I was in charge of attendance, duty in
the kitchen and in the teachers' room, and sampling food. Quite a lot of
work. The way they took the attendacne was not good, so later I had a hard
time. I will let them know a better way later.

Talking to my wife and getting nowhere. The cats are just being demanding
all the time. Spent some time viewing some video recordings. Will go to
bed. Tomorrow is a busy workday.

At work two classes to teach at night. Got tired enough and came back
home. Tomorrow is a workday. Will hit the sack early.
Thursday, December 1, 2016 Most cloudy.
This is the last month of the year already. The work schedule for the
school festival was given to us. Looks like I have much work to do even
compared with full-tiime teachers. Is this a kind of age harassment? Just
joking.
