ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

It was rainy when I was heading back home from work. Just one homeroom
student came. She had been away from school for two years. She wants to
quit. Today went jogging in the park. The ground was still wet.

At work we teachers got together and talked in groups. In conclusion,
it is by no means easy to teach students at this correspondence school.
We need to meet the needs of each student at any rate.
Wednesday, Janiary 27, 2016 Fair
An off day. On off days mostly visit doctors as usual. At home have to
care for the two 'pesky' cats.
Tuesday, January 26, 2016 Fair and less cold.
Just been to the hospital for neck traction. Translated a Morning Letter
into English, too. Today is a holiday, so I could take my time and slow
jog in the park.
Monday, January 25, 2016 Cloudy
Today I realized that , after all, I am a retired teacher working part-time.
I decided not to get involved too much in what full-time workers are doing.
Sunday, January 24, 2016 Cloudy and then snowy. Freezing cold!!!
Today was a workday. Continued to prepare for the so-called sign-up assistance
period. Also got rid of a lot of unnecessary handouts. Yesterday just went
to the hospital for neck traction.
Friday, January 22, 2016 Cloudy and freezing.
It was not too cold before dark, but after sunset, the temperature plummeted.
At work the corridors were freezing while the room was well heated, which
was no good for my blood pressure.
Thursday, January 21, 2016 Cloudy and a bit rainy.
Today was less cold than yesterday, so I could go jogging for 40 minutes
or so in the park. At work attended two meetings-a staff meeting and an
information meeting on the sign-up procedure.
Wednesday, January 20, 2016 Cloudy
It was so windy today, too, that I stopped jogging after 15 minutes or
so. I felt as if I were in a freezer. Off to the usual massage and dentist
later.
Tuesday, January 19, 2016 Cloudy and so very windy.
Due to the windy weather, I could not go out very much. While slow jogging
in the park, I was freezing. Hope the wind will die down tomorrow.
Monday, January 18, 18 2016 Cloudy and so windy, occasionally sprinkling.
Gave a student a retest. Went for a walk in the park near the workplace
during the break. Took an hour off and hit the road. The weather was terrible-so
windy and thundering a bit.
Sunday, January 17, 2016 Cloudy
A workday. Gave a few students a makeup. Began preparing for the sign-up
assistance period. Bought some sandwiches for supper on the way home.
Saturday, January 16, 2016 Fair
Just went to the hospital for neck traction as usual instead of going
to the English conversation school. I have stopped going there. It has
become a bit monotonous to me.
Friday, January 15, 2016 Cloudy
Gave a couple of students a makeup. There was a bug on a certain computer
program, so I could not see the correct data. Took one hour off and hit
the road.
Thursday, January 14, 2016 Cloudy
At work graded some exam papers after correcting some reports. Then attended
a lecture on labor law. Yesterday was a busy day-seeing the doctors, etc.
Tuesday, January 12, 2016 Cloudy
At night slow-jogged with my wife in the park for 20 minutes or so. She
has a pain in her right knee, so we should not go too far. Last year I
had a pain in my left knee.
Monday, January 11, 2016 Fair
Yesterday was not a busy workday. Just invigilated in the first period
and sent the students their exam papers after inputting the results. Today
was a holiday. Slow jogged in the part with my wife at night.
Saturday, Janaury 9, 2016 Fair
Resumed going slow jogging in the park with my spouse at night. Three
times a week, though. Did the Super Crossword for this month. Tomorrow
is a workday.
Friday, January 8, 2016 Cloudy
It has gotten cold suddenly. At work marked the exam papers after invigilating.
The sandals I bought yesterday turned out to be no good.
Thursday, January 7, 2016 Cloudy
At work two meetings to attend as usual, it being Thursday. On the way
home from work, made a stopover and did some shopping. Again Mr. Shima's
performance on YouTube. I like the way he plays the guitar.
Wednesday, January 6, 2016 Cloudy
At night spent some time listening to some great guitar music on YouTube.
The guitarist's name is Peter Shima. It brought back memories-the happiest
and at the same time saddest sound. Nostalgia and brevity of life.
Tuesday, January 5, 2016 Cloudy
At work finished making the 1st-term Communication English Ⅱreport for
next school year. I made much of sounds this time. Double-checked last
year's medical bills. There were some errors.
Monday, January 4, 2016 Fair
Yesterday went to Mom's place with my socond son and his wife. We talked
a lot all along. Today was the first workday of the year. Almost finished
the first-term Communication English Ⅱreport for next school year. Came
back home, taking an hour off.
Saturday, January 2, 2016 Fair
Our second son is staying overnight with us. I am taking him and his
wife to my mother's place tomorrow. We did some cleaning today, but it
is not so clean yet.
Friday, January 1, 2016 Fair
The weather was mild today. Went slow jogging as usual. Went shopping
after writing back to those to whom I had not sent New Year's cards.
