ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Another hot and humid day. The balcony as wekk as the backyard has to
be taken care of. I cannot leave it to my spouse. Tomorroww I have to go
to work.
Satuurday, July 30, 2016 Sunny and muggy.
Spent a lot of time viewing some video recordings after watching Toto-ne-chan.
Although so many houses were burned down during the postwar days, they
had hope and energy. However, there is only uncertainty or anxiety in this
day and age.
Friday, July 29, 2016 Fair
On arriving at work, one of the bosses told me to hand in a slip so that
he could do some red tape. I am fed up with this kind of thing. Bureaucracy
is the name of the game these days. Still preparing for the extra special
summer classs on August 2.
Thursday, July 28; 2016 Sunny
Went to work early in the morning after jogging. We were supposed to
get a physical checkup today. My sytem was still half asleep from lack
of rest. I was off around noon and on my way back. The sun was so strong
above my head I almost had heat stroke.
Wednesday, July 27, 2016 Fair
Been to the dentist. I watch NHK's serial drama Toto-ne-chan these days.
I have not watched any for such a long time. This one somehow appeals to
me.
Tuesday, July 26, 2016 Rainy and then cloudy.
Bizzare incidents happen one after another all over the world, Japan
included. What is the difference between sanity and insanity? It may depend
on how you look at the absurdity of life.
Monday, July 25, 2016 Fair
Day three for makeups and retests. Only a few students showed up. Yesterday
there were more. Taking an hour off, I left for home today.
Saturday, July 23, 2016 Fair
Went slow-jogging at night in tthe park with my wife for 40 minutes or
so. Heard the Bon dancing going on in the nearby school. In the park I
saw a kid who seemed to be looking for a Pokemon monster.
Friday, July 22, 2016 Fair
I choked on my saliva tonight. I was spoken to by my wife and tried to
respond in a hurry. In a situation like this, that is likely to happen.
Yesterday corrected some reports .
Wednesday, July 20, 2016 Fair
Went to the doctor's office and had my carotids checked for hardening
of the arteries. I am supposed to do this once a year.
Tuesday, July 19, 2016 Fair
Just went to the hospital for neck traction. In the morning did my usual
slow jog rather late. My wife has begun organizing the kitchen. She is
a late starter.
Monday, July 18, 2016 Fair
Could not wake up early enough to go slow jogging in the park, so I took
a walk with my wife there at night after going shopping for some cat food.
Sunday, July 17, 2016 Cloudy
Off to work early in the morning. On arriving there, I began marking
exam papers. There were two exams to invigilate as well. So it has been
quite a busy day. On the way home, making a stopover along the way, I bought
some cat food. Retruned two library books, too.
Saturday, July 16, 2016 Fair
Our second son and his wife are now on their honeymoon. They will spend
some days in Tahiti. Tomorrow is a workday and will be a busy day.
Friday, July 15, 2016 Cloudy and rather cool.
Went to the park early, picking up lots of litter while jogging. At work
on parking lot duty and invigilated in the second period at night. Came
back home late tired.

Went to work. Just corrected some reports and filled the 2nd-term CEnglish
Ⅱwith the right answers,
Wednesday, July 13, 2016 Rainy and then cloudy.
I was caught in the rain in the middle of my morning slow jog this morning.
Large raindrops began falling from the sky all of a sudden. I lazed about
for the rest of the day. I viewed four main candidates for this coming
gubernatorial election in Tokyo. I thought you should retire when you get
old. However, the way things are in this country, you might as well be
concerned about the future of this country.

At work finished making the third-term report. At home a Line message
from our second son. Concerned about his well-being.
Monday, July 11, 2016 Fair
At work the first-term exams have begun. Yesterday's election results
were disappointing. I wonder where this country is headed.
Sunday, July 10, 2016 Fari
Worked as a STEP examiner all day. Got up quite early this morning. Interviewed
dozens of examinees as usual. Came back home tired as usual. Then went
to the polls.
Saturday, July 9, 2016 Rainy and then cloudy.
Off to the hospital as usual a little before noon. Returned some library
books and checked out two. Yesterday took two hours off and homeward-bound.

The recent terrorist attack in Dhaka, Bangladesh was a tragedy. Nowadays
we all live in a disparate socity where the economic divide is widening.
There distrust of other humans keeps growing.

Been to see my family doctor. I have gained some weight. I wonder why
that is. Because of beer? Tomorrow is a workday.

Read on the Internet that the number of people who have been sent to
the hospital because of heat stroke has already doubled compared to last
year. The summer has just begun. A long way to go.

Although I jogged before eight this morning, it was already so hot. At
work handed in the purchase list of cusumables for the English department.

It was so hot that I got dehydrated, hurrying to the station from work.
I caught the train but sweat just kept on coming out on the train. As soon
as I got off the train, I bought something to drink.

Rather hot and windy today. Been to the dentist. Just an inflamation
in the gum. Not too serious. Relieved. Tomorrow is a workday, the last
schooling for the first term.

Jogged slowly in the park this morning. At work taught in the third period.
On the way home the trains were jampacked. Came back home exhausted.
