ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Our first-born son's family came. Our two grandchildren are full of energy.
Tomorrow is a workday for me. Our second son and his wife will come see
us, but I am not at home.

Been to Mom's place although Mother's Day has not come yet. I have become
a morning person suddenly. Is this why I am so forgetful these days. I
feel sleepy during the day, too.

At work filled out the form with the graduationg students' data and handed
it in. Took me a few hours. Also got my report boxes ready.
Thursday, April 27, 2017 Fair
Today's meeting at work lasted for over two hours, and after that there
was another meeting. However, I did not want to work overtime, so I hit
the road right away. I am a retired teacher, not a full-time worker.
Wednesday, April 26, 2017 Rainy, occasionally cloudy.
This morning jogged slowly under an umbrella in the park. Went to work
and made some handouts. During the evening break, took a walk for a while
as usual.
Tuesday, April 25, 2017 Fair
My throat has been a bit sore for some time, so I went to see the ear,
nose, and throat doc, who said there is no problem at all. I was a bit
paranoid. Then to the hospital for neck traction. On the way back bought
Mom something for Mother's Day.
Monday, April 24, 2017 Fair and then cloudy.
At work got my rollbook ready as my workload was deciided at today's
meeting. Made another set of worksheets. Went shopping for some cat food
on the way home from work.
Sunday. April 23, 2017 Fair
Yesterday had my hair cut at the usual barbershop near the station. Viewed
some video recordings. Today went to the library to return a book. Did
a little weeding in the backyard.

I have decided to combine ひとり学習 and Sherpa's model. I have started
making handouts for this coming school year.

I am now wondering how I should teach English for students who belong
to the daytime section. I have not come to any conclusion yet. I am trying
to think hard.
Wednesday, April 19, 2017 Fair
At work helped some new students sign up. One of them did not show up,
and another was late, so I had to wait until very late. Usually the one
in charge of the class does that, but this one was not that kind of person.
I was all the more tired because of that attitude. Working with someone
who cannot feel out the situation is really tiring.
Tuesday, April 18, 2017 Fair
Did my morning slow jog before 6:00 a.m. Went to see the family doctor
for the month of April before noon, and toward the evening off to the hospital
for neck traction.
Monday, April 17, 2017 Cloudy and then rainy.
The entrance ceremony for the daytime section was held today. I helped
one of the homeroom teachers. Also I had to revise the syllabus for C English
Ⅱ. I do not understand why they need such a thing in order to teach English.
Sunday, April 16, 2017 Fair
It was rather hot than warm today. Helped a colleague deal with her new
students. Bought some sandwiches to eat for supper. I ate curry, too.
Saturday, April 15, 2017 Cloudy
The usual routine-slow jogging, neck traction, etc. Tomorrow is a workday-the
entrance ceremony for the nighttime section. Have to get up early.
Friday, April 14, 2017 Cloudy
Prepared for next week's sign-up assistance. Also helped a colleague
a little bit and helped to set up one of the rooms for the coming checkup.

At work checked the school records of the new students in a gorup of
three, There is still a chill in the air, and water feels a bit cold, too.
Cherry blossoms seem to be at their best now.
Wednesday, April 12, 2017 Rainy and then cloudy.
I made some booboos, and I needed to correct my mistakes. I am going
to be pretty busy until April 19. I was in a hurry when I was about to
leave my workplace. I left my iPod and dictionary on my desk.
Tuesday, April 11, 2017 Rainy and so windy.
Due to the nasty weather, I had no choice but to stay indoors all day.
Viewed quite a few video recordings with Kyun, our cat, on my lap.
Monday, April 10, 2017 Cloudy
Slow jog a little after 7:00 a.m. Took a shower, then off to the hospital
for neck traction. On the way home, bought some cat food. Then off to work.
It was so hectic. At work this school year's homeroom classes were announced.
Sunday, April 9, 2017 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
In spite of the wet ground, I went slow jogging almost as usual because
I walked a little bit, thinking the surface was too wet. Yesterday when
I was about to leave for the hospital for neck traction, it began to rain,
so I gave up because it is usually dangerous to go ther by bike on a rainy
day. For one thing, the surface is slippery, and another thing is that
visibility is not good.
Friday, April 7, 2017 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.
Put the school records of my homeroom class in order, handing in those
of the students who quit school. Also called the students who had not come
to school yet to finish their sign-up procedure.
Thursday, April 6, 2017 Cloudy and then a littel rainy.
Just three meetings to attend-student council, staff, and entrace sign-up
procedure. My wife is under the weather today as is often the case with
her lately. So, I bought something to eat for supper.
Wedensday, April 5, 2017 Fair and then cloudy.
At work made a set of handouts for the first class of Communication English
Ⅱ. Also decided who to teach each Introductory English class in the first
term.
Tuesday, April 4, 2017 Fair
I have been to three different places-the hospital, the clinic and the
dentist's office. The weather has become springlike today. I drink more
water (oolong tea) than before.
Monday, April 3, 2017 Fair
My diurnal lifestyle has begun for the first time in three years. At
work I was just on report room duty. Not much work to do. This workplace
is not good for young teachers who are full of energy.

It was quite cold. At work we used the heater in our room. There were
three meetings to attend. We now have a new Englsih teacher. I worlked
a little after all the three meeings were over.
Saturday, April 1, 2017 Cloudy
This morning went to the park as usual to go slow jogging. Befroe me
was an old man like me, but he was jogging a lot faster than I. He did
not run long. I ran for 40 minutes or so as usual. Then off to the hospital
for neck traction. Late in the afternoon I felt drowsy and took a nap.
Ate some firefly squids this evening They were a bit fishy but OK anyway
with beer.
