　We are having one typhoon after another. Tomorrow we are going to have a big one. Then another is coming after that. Typhoons like Japan.

Friday, September 28, 2018 Fair

　Went to the piles doctor first thing in the morning. I am constipated now. Went to work and taught in the 3rd class. At night went to the gym with my wife.

Thursday, September 27, 2018 Cloudy

　I had my hemorrhoids treated at the usual piles clinic. The doctor is a female. I stripped down and it was a kind of operation. It took 30 minutes or so, but I need to see the doctor rather frequently for six months. In fact I go see her tomorrow.

Tuesday September 25, 2018 Rainy and fair.

　No jogging due to the rain. Went to the clinic for my usual PT. Late in the afternoon went to the dentist and then off to the gym with my wife. On the way home did some shopping.

Monday, September 24, 2018 Cloudy

　Went for a walk in the park. then did a little slow jogging. Read a book and videw some video recordings, such as "OngNnyo(玉女=獄女) 　八重の桜 , ダイアリー, and 秘密の扉。

Sunday, September 23, 2018 Mostlu cloudy.

　It was quite hot during the day. Maybe around 30 degrees Celsius outside. I felt a bit sick while walking, probably from lack of sleep last night. I viewed a documentary on Alain Delon far into the night.
He is now over 80. I still remember a commercial of Durban.

　Yesterday's class was different than usual, for I took care of some students who would be willing to study. Today took a wark in the park for 30 minutes or so and then off to the clinic for PT(physical therapy).

Thursday, September 20, 2018 Mostly rainy.

　We are having an autumnal long spell of rainy weather now. Therefore no slow joggging for the time being. Went to the library and checked out two books. On the way home did a little shopping.

Wednesday, September 19, 2018 Fair

　Did a 40-minute slow jog as usual this morning, but the ground is so grassy it is hard to run there. Off to work in the afternoon. Just one class to teach in the second period, and also some reports to check so that I could make sure that the 1st-term results were correct. On the way home, bought two sandwiches because my wife is still under the weather.

Tuesday, September 18, 2018 Cloudy

　Absent from the gym because my wife was under the weather. Just did a 30-minute slow jog this morning. Viewed some video recordings. such as "Yae no Sakura", the NHK drama televised five years ago, and a couple of American and Korean TV shows.

Monday, September 17, 2018 Mostly cloudy.

　No slow jogging in the morning because it was quite hot. Toward the evening went to the gym with my wife for a 40-minute workout.

Sunday, September 16, 2018 Cloudy

　So hot today. Went to the gym with my wife toward the evening and went shopping on the way home. Played Dragon Quest 11, following my wife's instructions.

Saturday, September 15, 2018 Cloudy

　Just went to the hospital for neck traction before noon. Did the usual super slow jog around nine in the morning. Viewed a couple of video recordings at night.

Friday, September 14, 2018 Cloudy, occasionally rinay.

　Rolled up the reed screens on the south windows. Went to the gym around 4:230 p.m. because I had to go to a local community meeting.

Thursday, September 13, 2018 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　Went to the clinic in the adjacent town with my wife. My mother-in-law went to the day-care center for the first time in three months or so.

Wednesday, September 12, 2018 Cloudy, occasionallly rainy.

　Did a super sllow jog in the park. The ground was wet. I took an umbrella with me just in case. Viewed some video recordings.

Tuesday, September 11, 2018 Fair

　Jogged for the first time in four days. Absent from the gym because both of us were a bit tired at night.

Monday, September 10, 2018 Rainy and then cloudy.

　In the morning it rained very hard. Went to work in the afternoon because today was the deadline for the first term. On the way home, the trains were not running along the Nankai Koya Line because there was an accident causing death or injury.

Sunday, Sepetmeber 9, 2018 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　No jogging for the past few days chiefly due to the wet weather. On the way to the gym at night dropped by the convenience store and my wife paid for the kitchen water filter refill. We got to the gym and found it was closed. On Sundays and national holidays it closes at six.

Saturday, September 8, 2018 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　Our second son and his wife came to see us with their baby, our grandson. They were here with us from 2:30 p.m. to 5.30 p.m We talked a lot. I saw them off at the station elevator. Before they came, my wife and i did a lot of cleaning. I was supposed to attend today's condo board meeting but I was not availabel because I had to go to the usual clinic for a heart checkup and also go to the hospital for neck traction.

Friday, September 7, 2018 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　It was quite windy today. There were only a few students in today's class, and they were passive. I hit the road as soon as that class was over. At night went to the gym with my wife and spend 40 miutes ore so there.

　Yesterday went to work but had a hard time getting there because the train schedule was disrypted with fewer trains than usual. After the indredible storm in the Kansai district came a severe earthquake in Hokkaido. What an age we live in!

Tuesday, September 4, 2018 Typhoon No. 21

　This typhoon was scarier than any other typhoon so far. Some things on the bacony were blown and scattered here and there. My mom's place had an outage. The Internet connection has failed at my place. In the neighborhood I saw some damage, such as partilally broken roofs.

Monday, September 3, 2018 Fair

　An early morning slow jog, one class at work, and 40 minutes or so in the gym with my wife-this time at night. Tomorrow's typhoon looks scary...

Sunday, September 2, 2018 Cloudy

　Went to the gym late in the afternoon with my wife. We were there for 40 minutes or so. Tomorrow is a workday, and the day after tomorrow another typhoon is coming up this way. Bigger than the previous one. A dosaster-stricken summer, but our real fear is an immiinent mega earthquake.

　It was thundering this morning. Hence no slow jog in the park. Went to the gym with my wife at 4:00 p.m., spending some 40 minutes there. Need another orientation session, though.
