ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Wednesday, August 31, 2016 Fair
Paide a monthly visit to the dentist and then to the hospital for neck
traction. The temperature goes up and down so sharply my system just cannot
keep up with it.
Tuesday, August 30, 2016 Fair
Jogged slowly in the park later than usual. There was a refreshing breeze
blowing softly. Today is a workday. Maybe not much to do because students
do not come to school on Tuesdays.
Monday, August 29 Rainy
The first day of the second term. Yesterday I thought I might have to
be absent from school, but I managed to teach in the first period. Corrected
quite a few reports, too. Kept quite busy doing this and that.
Sunday, August 28, 2016 Fair
Today my wife is running a fever of 38 degrees Celsius. I am also feverish-37.4
degrees. Yesterday it was so cool we may have caught cold while asleep.
The cause of the cold might be the in-house training in that freezing hall
this past Thursday. That was really a stupid event placewise.
Friday, August 26, 2016 Fair
Another hot day. And school has resumed for me. Yesterday's school event
was terrible. The room was too cold and the lecture was nothing but a torture.
It lasted for 90 minutes. It made me doubt the bosses' good sense. Today
left work on time, that is, at 9:15 p.m., coming back home around 10::30
p.m. Just exhausted!!!
Thursday, August 25, 2016 Cloudy
My 8-day summer vacation is over. During the short vacation, I disposed
of lots of bulky trash and attended a funeral.
Wednesday, August 24, 2016 Cloudy and humid.
The temperatrue is not too high but it is too humid today, over 64 percent.
It is hard to breathe in here. We need air-conditioning earlier than usual
this evening.
Tuesday, August 23, 2016 Fair and then cloudy.
Been to the funeral, getting up around five a.m. and arriving at the
place a little before nine in the morning. The one who died was younger
than I.
Monday, August 22, 2016 Fair
This morning the costumer brought the clothes. Tomorrow morning I will
have to get up very early. It is going to be a long day.
Sunday, August 21, 2016 Fair
Today is my wife's birthday. No birthday cake this time because it IS
fattening. We must watch our figures. The day after tomorrow I am going
to attend a funeral in Hyogo Prefecture.
Saturday, August 20, 2016 Overcast
Yesterday was unimaginably hot all day. Over 37 degrees Celsius, I guess.
I may have to go to a faraway place soon for a funeral.
Friday, August 19, 2016 Cloudy
It is so hot and humid in the morning already. I slow-jogged in the park,
but I got all the more tired. After my morning slow jog, I took out the
garbage. There was a lot. It took me some time.
Thursday, August 18, 2016 Fair
My wife went to the driving school to renew her driver's license. I just
went to the library to return two library books. Another sweltering day.
Wednesday, August 17, 2016 Cloudy
Starting today until the 24th, I will not go to work-my summer holidays.
What I have to do is cleaning. To begin with, put the balcony in order
today. It has been such a mess since we did over the kitchen.
Tuesday, August 16, 2016 Overcast
Got rid of four pieces of furniture, such as the sofa, the microwave
oven rack, a futon, and the cupboard. What a relief! If I do nothing about
it, the situation will never change. The cats seem to miss them, for they
played a lot on them. At work I was carekess enough to work in an unair-conditoned
room. I got dehydrated almost. I am no longer young, and age is telling
on me.

Today is the memorial day for the end of the war. it is now clear that
the atomic bombs were dropped because of lack of civilian control on the
U.S side. The military went berserk. President Truman was not rightly nformed.

Went slow jogging early in the morning. That was it. It was too hot for
the rest of the day, which means no activity outside.
Saturday, August 13, 2016 Fair
Visited Dad's grave with my mother and my sister. Met them at the nearest
JR station, and my sister drove me to the cemetery.. The sun was so strong
it seemed easy to get heatstroke. On the way back we dropped in at a cafe.
Back home, talked a lot about this and that as usual. I was on the way
home around 2:00p.m.
Friday, August 12, 2016 Fair
Only our first-born son came. The rest of his family are now with his
wife's parents. Today is another hot day. I will be in an air-conditioned
room at work. This morning it was already too hot to run when I got up..
Thursday, August 11, 2016 Fair
The very first Mountain Day, a new national holiday. This evening our
first-born son's family are coming over, so my wife and I went all out,
cleaning the whole house except the balcony and the backyard. We are almost
ready for those two rascals to come.
Wednesday, August 10, 2016 Fair
Been to the family doctor as usual around noon and to the hospital for
neck traction toward the evening. Tomorrow we are having our first-born
son's family overnight. Our cats will be scared of the two grandchildren.
Tuesday, August 9, 2016 Mostly fair.
Barely made it to the park this morning. If a bit later, the sun might
have been a lot too strong for me to go slow joggging. My better half has
been so delinquent in making my favorite juice.
Monday, August 8, 2016 Fair
Another sweltering day. The English Interview Room was like a sauna today.
Bought a tote bag for Mom. I will give it to her on August 13. On the way
home, train service was disrupted due to a breakdown, so the platform was
in a state of chaos.

Just too hot to do anything. Just viewed some video recordings and dillydallied
all day long.
Saturday, August 6, 2016 Cloudy and a late afternoon thunder-shower.
Retruned a couple of library books and checked out some. It was almost
impossible to do without air conditioning in the daytime.
Friday, August 5, 2016 Fair
Today the heatstroke index was so high I evacuated to the air-conditioned
staff room. However, the place was so cold I got cold to the marrow.
Thursday, August 4, 2016 Mostly fair, with scattered showers.
I wonder what is the difference between a handbag and tote bag? I am
thinking of buying a small-sized tote bag for my mother, but tote bags
are usually big.

I misunderstood something in the morning, which wrecked my whole schedule
for the day. All is not well that begins not well.

My summer lesson is over. There were ten students, but I am afraid they
were not as good as the ones I taught last year.

At work I got ready for tomorrow's extra lesson. Back home only heard
PL's display of fireworks. My wife viewed it, but according to her, it
was not much this year.
