　Instead of going jogging, just walked briskly this morning. It was raining, so I walked under an umbrella. For the rest of the day just took it easy at home. In no mood to do anything special.

　It has been a hectic day although I had only one class to teach. However, so many reports to check and some students to help with their reports. One of them came with so many blanks in her report, so I explained how to go about it. Hopefully she will catch on.

　There was a joint staff meeting on the budget. Also they said for us to save on electricity-even standby power. Did a little slow jogging at work as well. Ate my bento later, but found it hard to swallow food. Maybe too tired or down on the blood sugar. Put away the test papers in the cabinets.

　At work not much more work to do. Almost everything done for the time being. At work our little cat is again in some different trouble. She does not drink water, possibly bringing about some kidney trouble. She is such an adamant one.

Tuesday, June 26, 2012 Fair

　Slow jogged only for half the usual time-25 minutes or so. Out of shape. For one thing started too late with the sun high up and hot. Should start earlier in the summertime. Went to the Korean class, taking several hours off. Then off to work. Did the printing of the exam papers. Printed a few mistaken sheets, causing me double the trouble. Too bad.

Monday, June 25, 2012 Cloudy, occasionally rainy.

　I felt tired all day. Perhaps it was the humidity that got me. It was 60 something at work. Taught two classes in a row. Then checked over 20 reports. Had a student asking me to help with their reports. A full day and had no time to do anything else. Just worked and worked...

　Disposed of some electric appliances, such as the old microwave oven, an electric fan, a washer, a TV and a cleaner. Had to pay 3,000 yen for the TV and the washer. Cleand the balcony and the backyard. Also put the desk in order. My wife was busy with the new microwave oven in the kitchen.

　Morning jogging. Then breakfast, shower, and Chinese dramas. Yesterday our microwave oven, which had been used over the past 15 or 16 years, broke down, so we went out in our son's car to buy a new one. One the way home, ate noodles for lunch. Forgot to buy reed screenss, so went out again.

Friday, June 22, 2012 Rainy and then cloudy.

　Two classes to teach at work. The two tests, OC�Tand Reading, are now ready to be printed. Handed in the sheets on the new curriculum for English. Attended the Chinese class in the third period at night. So sleepy. Feeling thirsty, went shopping after getting off the train at the usual station.

　Two meetings today-one for the whole staff and the other for us Japanese teachers of English. What on earth did I accomplish today? Not much. Talked to quite a few different people anyway. The tests are ready. Got to do the printing next week. This evening felt so tired before eating supper. Hate this gloomy weather of the rainy season.

　So very busy at work from around noon until past 7:00 p.m., when I was, at last, able to sit down and eat my bento. What a hectic day! An application for retirees's information meeting came today. The procedure should be done by each.

　The typhoon landed on Aichi Prefecture a while ago. It had gone by east of where I live. The wind blew rather strongly, but not too much. Same with the rain. I decided not to go to the Korean class considering the weather. So relaxed at home all day, today being a substitute holiday.

　Typhoon No.4 is coming this way. Today at work I sweated a lot. Slow-jogged with a colleague. Had a Korean study session. Checked over 20 reports. I wonder if I can go to the Korean class tomorrow weatherwise.

　The ground was so wed I was unable to go slow jogging this morning. Went to work. Sat in on a Chinese class in the first period. Getting harder. Heard a student say "It's too difficult." I know it is. Prepared all the handouts for the rest of this term and printed all of them. Had an English study session and then on duty for chest X-ray examination. On the way home, bought two bento at Takashimaya Department Store-my wife's favorite. Got a mail from our first-born son about Father's Day. Nothing from the second son, who must be busy working, I guess.

　I was not able to go slow jogging due to the rain. I walked anyway under an umbrella for 30 minutes or so. Returned a couple of items to the library. Just was two recordings of a Chinese drama. Solved the Super Crossword in the evening.

Friday, June 15, 2012 Fair and then cloudy.

　Worked my own way according to plan. Had a Korean study session in the second period. Checked nearly 30 reports. Was on duty in the Counseling Room.

Thursday, June 14, 2012 Fair

　The OC�Ttest is ready now. The Reading test is almost ready. There was a curriculum committee meeting, which lasted for nearly two hours, starting at: p.m. We are now in transition curriculumwiise. Pretty complex.

　At work there was a joing homeroom class-volleyball matches. Then two meetings-one for the human rights committee and the otere for the health department. Had no time to do anything else. Hectic. Realized that so many people are in the box.

　A substitute holiday. Just the routine-the morning shopping for bread, the afternoon Korean class, etc. Had a haircut on the way home from the Korean lesson. Tired, went to bed early after seeing the recording of a Chinese period drama.

Monday, June 11, 2012 Fair

　Slow-jogged as usual for 40 minutes these days. The rest was routine, including the things at work. However, teaching the English �Tstudents how some irregular verbs conjugate was quite a hassle. I ended up getting a hoarse voice.

　Went slow-jogging early in the morning in the park in back of our place because some people hog the place later in the morning. Went to work. Filled in the school records with some information such names and numbers. Sat in on two Chinese classes.

　The field in the park in back of my place was full of people playing ball, so I did some brisk walking around the town. Went out in the son's car to buy some underwear with my wife. On the way home, did a little shopping at a supermarket, too. Back home did some cleaning after eating lunch. Then took an afternoon nap listening to my iPod.

Friday, June 8, 2012 Cloudy and then rainy.

　The Meteorological Agency has declared the beginning of the rainy season here in the Kinki district. It is the season for hydrangeas now. Taught only one Reading class at school today, but I helped a student with her report. And also was on duty in the Counseling Room. Had an English study session, too. Attended a Chinese class as well. A full day.

　A staff meeting and shipping mail to students. Then sent my homeroom students reminders of their report status. Went jogging with a coleague. Back home drank beer and took care of the cats.

Wednesday, June 6, 2012 Fair

　This morning jogged slowly for 40 minutes. At work just one class to teach, and less than 20 reports to check. However, had to set up the room for x-ray examination. Forgot the word "perdition," which means "hell." One health department meeting. Then had a Korean study session for the first time in many days. Had a late supper and did a little cleaning and reading before leaving for home.

　Slow jogging in the morning as usual. The same usual folks appeared on the field. Went shopping for bread as usual. Taking a few hours off, went to the Korean classroom. Today's condition of my Korean was so-so. Leaves much to be desired. After this class, went to work and prepared for tomorrow's class. Shot the breeze with a colleague for some time.

Monday, June 4, 2012 Cloudy and hot.

　At work two classes to teach and dozens of reports to check. Kept working for more than five hours. Exhausted when I was about to eat supper. Was also running around, down to the office and over to the other building, sweating a lot. Back home took out six bags of trash for garbage pickup day. Then drank a can of beer. It really hit the spot at the end of the day.

Sunday, June 3, 2012 Fair

　Slow jogging early in the morning and also the radio exerciese. Went to check out several library books and did a little shopping. Bought two bento at the supermarket. My wife took the younger cat to the vet. In the afternoon took some bulky trasy, a little over 100 kilograms, to the factory where they dispose of it. Paid nearly 2.000 yen. On the way back home, dropped by Konan to buy some hanging-type insecticides and three bags of cat toilet sand. Back home worked on the balcony and in the backyard, sweating a lot. All this ended around 4:00 p.m.

　In the morning watched the recordings of two Chinese dramas-four episodes in all. Beginning to catch on to the rhythm of the language, but still a long, long way to go. After lunch (buckwheat noodles), took a nap, and then worked on the Super Crossword. The younger cat was taken to the vet as usual for a drip transfusion.

　T.G.I.F. Yesterday's interview with the boss was done. So was the outing on the 27th of May. Hope I can take it easy for a while now. Today at work I had two classes to teach in a row. The OC�Tclass's participation is worst so far. The English �Tis so-so. Our younger cat's condition is still precarious.
