ネット上で日記は、個人的にはthe last
thing I want to
doでした。しかし、英語を書くことが
学習の一環と言う立場にあるものが、sampleになるのも意味のないことではないだろう、
自分も毎日、英語に接する機会も増えるし、また、このホムペになんらかの足跡を残すことに
もなるかな、などなどlong,
sleepless autumn nightに考えて、半ば勢いでcreate。
3-sentenceとなってますけれども、not
necessarilyです。要するにnot longということです。

Just neck traction at the usual clinic in the morning. Not much to do.
Tomorrow is our school's sports day. I need to get up early.
Friday, September 29, 2017 Fair
Yesterday went shopping for some toiletries in vain on the way home from
work. Today at work expected to have only a few studetns in the fourth
period for Basic English, but as it turned out, I had a classfroomful of
students. I have no idea why that was.
Wednesday, September 27, 2017 Fair and cloudy.
The library book I am reading now turned out to be quite interesting.
I mean 'eye-opening.' Dialogue is the key word. Come to think of it. things
and people have become quite rigid. That might be partly due to the absence
of dialogue. Monologue seems to prevail these days. Few people listen.
Therefore few people can speak from the bottom of their heart.

Still summerlike weather today. Just went to one clinic after another.
Bought something for both lunch and supper because my wife looked tired.
Monday, September 25, 2017 Fair
It was so very hot for September. Today's Basic English schoolig was
the worst ever. The students were not only passive but apathetic.
Sunday, September 24, 2017 Fair
Went to the polls because today is the election day for our next mayor.
I voted for the incumbent mayor because I am not for the political party
the other candidate belongs to.
Saturday, September 23, 2017 Cloudy
I stopped jogging halfway in the park because the sun got stronger all
of a sudden. Went to the supermarket before lunch after my wife and I watched
a Chinese period drama.
Friday, September 22, 2017 Cloudy, raining on and off.
Today's CEnglish Ⅱclass was the same as ever-little participation. Their
attitude is beyond my comprehension. I will do just what I think I am supposed
to do as a high school English teacher. How I wish I could return to the
nighttime section, where students are more active.
Thursday, September 21, 2017 Fair
Yesterday I was under the weather. Today at work attended two meaningless
meetings as usual. They are just information meetings-top-down style. No
democracy at school, either.
Tuesday, September 19, 2017 Fair
The usual morning job before 8:00 a.m. A bit hot under the sun. Off to
the hospital toward the evening. A bit cooler almost before the sunset.
The backyard was too hot in the morning, so no weeding. A rain check.
Monday, September 18, 2017 Fair
When the seaseons change, my neck aches. I don't like it. Hope it will
subside. This morning weeded the backyard partially. Tomorrow we will continue
with that.
Sunday, September 17, 2017 Cloudy, rainy, and windy.
Today Typhoon No.18 did not hit my area directly. In the morning biked
to the DIY store to get two bags of 'cat toilet sand.' Yesterday the weather
was bad and I did not go to the hospital. I did not go jogging, either.
Friday, September 15, 2017 Cloudy
No class to teach, but moderately busy at work. A student almost stood
me up. Another did. The second term eam in Basic English is ready.
Thursday, September 14, 2017 Cloudy
At work attended two meetings. In charge of taking the minutes for the
first one. The second one was held up in the AV room. Began making the
2nd term exam in Basic English. Almost decided what the test is going to
be like.
Wedensday, September 13, 2017 Fair
My Achiles' tendon aches, so no jogging for the time being. Today at
work prepared a transcript for a homeroom student and handed in a document
to the boss. Since students did not come to school today, I took three
hours off.
Tuesday, September 12, 2017 Rainy
Early this morning heard a loud clap of thunder all of a sudden, and
it started raining hard. Took a shower and headed for the pension office
in town. Handed in the necessary papers. So tired I took a long nap in
the afternoon.
Monday, September 11, 2017 Cloudy and then rainy.
Today was the deadline for the first term. After teaching in the second
period, I kept on taking care of one student after another. I was moderately
busy all the time. Yesterday worked on the Super Crossword while playing
Scrabble.
Saturday, September 9, 2017 Fair
This morning got a cramp in my left Achiles' tendon. I had never had
this kind of cramp. So, I stopped running and went back home. Maybe I should
take a rest for a while. I have aged.
Friday, September 8, 2017 Cloudy
No class to teach today, but quite busy at work. Helped some students
and gave a student a makeup. Prepared some handouts as well. Yesterday
I was so tired after attending two meaningless meetings.
Wednesday, September 6, 2017 Cloudy
Today's Basic English class was a zoo. There were a few unruly students.
I have never seen them, though. There were quite a few students present,
but I would rather teach not too many students who are ready to learn.

First went to the hospital for neck traction and then to the usual doctor's
office. Viewed some video recordings. Thsi "Saimudan" thing is
hiring to see because the story often goes back and forth between the presebt
abd the past.
Monday, September 4, 2017 Cloudy
So very tired at the end of the day although I taught only in the fourth
period. I corrected dozens of reports, helped some students with their
reports, did some prinitng, and so on. Before going to work I had to go
to the ward office to get a certificate of residence issued for the whole
family. Come to think of it, I had a full day.
Sunday, September 3, 2017 Fair
Did the usual morning routine, including the shoppiing and the viewing
of video recordings. Atutumn is almost here with insects chirping in the
grass.
Saturday, September 2, 2017 Fair
Did the usual early morning slow jog in the park. Then took a shower,
went to the hospital for neck traction, and then to the dentist's office.
On the way home did some shopping at the usual places. Viewed a couple
of video recordings, lying down with my cat beside me.
Friday, September 1, 2017 Fair
At work had to prepare a transcript again. What a hassle! I hate it.
As I expected, it was full of errors. C English Ⅱ's students' participation
leaves much to be desired. I like the way nighttime students studied in
class. Apathy prevails in the daytime section.
